509,330. Milk &c. cartons; shaping. WOOD, D., and D. W. CONTAINERS, Ltd. Feb. 1, 1938, No. 3138. [Classes 18 and 66] [Also in Group XVI] A paper, cardboard, &c. carton &c. proofed with wax &c., for milk, powders, &c., is made from the blank sliown, the base being triangular with panel c<1> uppermost, the sides being four in number and the top pleating about the lines g<2>, h<2> so that panel f contacts the margin b of panel b, panel f<1> tapering more rapidly than the sides a, b. Margin b<1> and panel fare secured together by a metal clip &c, which may lie in the plane of panel f or panel band may serve as a handle. A slit may be made at line l to provide a pouring aperture. The side seam and the bottom may be secured by adhesive &c. The container is formed round, a mandrel and the bottom may be dished by means of dies to form a downwardly-projecting rim. The corners may be rounded.
