[Class 131] A soap-container as described in the parent Specification is provided with draining-means in both lid and casing so that it may be carried upside-down if necessary. The container A having a detachable draining-plate F is provided with a screw-on lid D having a flange T supporting a detachable draining-plate M. Alternatively, the plate M may be screwed on to a stem D<2>, Fig. 8, on the lid D, or projections may be formed on the lid itself to support the soap. The casing may be used to hold hot water, while the inverted lid supports shaving-soap.
