Abstract

378,123. Heating water. PRATT, T., 125, Allerton Road, Allerton, Bradford, Yorkshire. May 23, 1931, No. 15260. [Class 64, (i).] A domestic hot water cistern has within it a coil K leading to an upper coned part K<1> covered by a disc K<2> with circulating apertures K<3> below. Taps are connected by a pipe S to a steam escape pipe G connecting the hot water cistern to a cold supply tank T feeding the cistern through a pipe F. In a modification, a single tank is used and the supply pipe is led from near the water level and has a connection to the boiler.
