1278243 Scaffolding A V ELSON 20 Aug 1969 [24 Sept 1968 15 Oct 1968] 45260/68 and 48807/68 Heading E1S In order to fix transverse scaffolding members to an upright 11, a mounting ring 14, with a plurality of radially outwardly extending slots 13, is mounted thereon, supported by a supporting collar 10, an annular weld, or an annular series of radially-projecting abutment welds. The collar 10 may be welded to the upright, or shrunk thereon. The ring 14 may be lobed, as shown, or circular. The ring 14 and the collar 10 may be integral.
