Abstract
1,105,973. Electric selective signalling. TATEISI ELECTRONICS CO. 10 June, 1965 [13 June, 1964], No. 24650/65. Heading G4H. A central station joined by a single pair of lines to a plurality of field stations sends a sequence of call pulses each followed by a predetermined number of scan pulses on one line, and a counter at each of the field stations operates an " and " gate after a predetermined count of call pulses to permit the scan pulses to scan the points at that station by means of a second counter connected to a diode matrix connected to the switch points, wherein the matrix produces a result pulse when any one of the switches is closed indicating a disorder, which pulse is transmitted on the second line to the central station where it is indicated. Counters at the central station count the call and scan pulses such that a diode matrix can determine from which field point the result pulse is generated and activate the appropriate " annunciator ". The scan pulses are generated at the central station by a pulse generator and are counted, whereby after a predetermined count a pulse of opposite polarity representing the call pulse is also generated.
