Abstract

The invention concerns a device for controlling the disconnection of sleeve joint means (6) comprising a nipple (7A) and a faucet (7B) ensuring the connection between the proximal end (8) of a urinary catheter and the distal end (9) of a tube (5) connected to a bag for collecting urine. Cette bague de serrage comporte une boucle de préhension qui, lorsqu'on y exerce une traction, permet de réduire le diamètre de ladite bague et assure, de ce fait, le serrage du premier embout sur le second. Un tel dispositif ne permet cependant pas d'éviter totalement la déconnexion des deux embouts emboîtés, par force, l'un dans l'autre. En effet, il est toujours possible qu'une telle déconnexion se produise de manière intentionnelle ou accidentelle. Dans un pareil cas, l'infirmière, notamment si elle n'est pas consciente ou si elle est mal informée de la conséquence de ces actes, est parfois amenée à reconnecter les deux mêmes embouts, voire même à remplacer la bague de serrage sans précautions particulières et sans qu'il ne soit possible de savoir, à posteriori, si il y a eu déconnexion ou non. 2. Disconnection control device according to claim 1, characterized in that it is constituted by a strip (13) comprising a first strip (14) defining the first part (liA) as well as a second strip (15) defining the second part (lob) and arranged perpendicular to the first (14).

3. Disconnection control device according to claim 2 characterized in that said strip (14) constitutes the connection means (12) and is intended to be wound totally or partially, for example, around the distal end (9 ) of the tube (5) so as to be made integral with the latter (5).
