Abstract

The key handler has a casing where the keys (6) are placed in individual holders (7) that can identify the key when it is returned. The casing is a box (2) having an aperture (5) which can be obstructed by a cylindrical shutter (1) mounted in the box via a shaft (3). An electromechanical locking system is mounted on the box to block the shutter in any given position. The holders are fixed on a frame mounted in the box. When the user is recognised, the blocking system is deactivated and the shutter is rotated by a motor to allow access to the holders. Each holders is specific to one object and recognises it thanks to identifications carried by the object.
