Abstract

Modular system according to the invention, instantaneously adapting any standard helicopter to fighting forest fires according to the "canadair" mode. The water is contained in a bag (1), made of sufficiently strong material, suspended from the helicopter. The bottom of this bag is equipped with a self-adhesive cross shape (16) including a thin border of explosive substance which will cut the bag and let the mass of water fall when the pilot triggers the explosion by means of a small control box in his possession.
