Abstract
A metal oxide semi-conductor integrated circuit is used to perform series parallel conversions for digital systems. Multiplexing circuits are included for operation of the circuit in pulse code modulated switching circuits. An MOS integrated circuit is employed in a digital system to effect series parallel conversions of data received which are time division multiplexed. The circuit comprises a numbr of inputs on which groups of binary elements are received in series. On a number of outputs are transmitted a number of binary elements in parallel from each group. The converted outputs are loaded into registers and then moved to the output using a clock which does not introduce any overall delay.
