Abstract

The atomiser is particularly for perfumes, having a cylinder forming a pump chamber and communicating with an immersion tube. A hollow piston working the cylinder incorporates a seat against which a valve fits, interrupting the passage between the cylinder and the atomiser nozzle, and forced open by the pressure in the cylinder, being spring-loaded onto its seat. The cylinder is fixed to a hollow axial tip extending upwards from the cylinder base, so that the pump chamber is annular, the tip communicating with the immersion tube. The valve or the piston are fixed to an axial component shutting off the pump chamber from the immersion tube, when the piston is not in the rest position, by fitting over or inside the tip.
