Abstract

The system consists of a primary transmitter supplied for each transmission by a frequency modulated R.F. carrying the picture information and several secondary transceivers each capable of receiving the R.F. from the primary transmitter and changing it's frequency and a broadcast system suitable for public reception. The primary transmitter uses a centre frequency of 4GHz and a carrier elaboration circuit. The modulator output is fed via a passband filter and a correction circuit to a subtractive mixer using a local oscillator working at 31.8MHz giving a 0.9MHz amplitude modulated output. The crest to crest interval is 15MHz and modulater filter Pass-band 36MHz.
