Abstract

The circuitry consists of a receiver installation having a switch clock with associated circuitry for maintaining synchronisation between a transmitter and the receiver. A first section contains a facsimile device, a second section contains voltage sequences stored in a master perforated tape for producing a cipher pulse sequence, and a switch clock mechanism is provided in a third section. The circuitry includes a band-pass filter, a beat generator, a rectifier gates, switches and a mixer in section, with ring counters and storage switches in the second section. The circuitry transmits a pre-arranged signal at intervals, the signal being operative to cause new and hitherto unused sections of cipher running-down periods to be set in the transmitter and the receiver.
