ZUSAMMENFASSUNG DER ERFINDUNGSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Against this background, the present invention is based on the object of creating a possible combination of star quad cables and "parallel pair" cables.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by a guide element with the features of claim 1.

The idea on which the present invention is based is to create a guide element which guides the wires of a cable in such a way that at least two wires change a place in the cable.

In this application, the term connector arrangement is understood to mean a cable connected to a connector.

The idea on which the present invention is based also consists in changing in a cable from a star-quad arrangement of the wires to an arrangement of the wires as parallel pairs. This change of arrangement is achieved by changing two wires of the cable. The change of place is guided by the guide element.

According to the invention, the guide element converts a star-quad arrangement of the wires / plug contacts into an arrangement of parallel pairs. Thus, star quad cables / connectors or "parallel pair" cables / connectors and "parallel pair" cables / connectors can be combined. In this way, the advantages of both systems can be used or combined with one another.

According to the invention, the guide tracks are formed at a first end of the guide element on the top right, bottom right, top left and bottom left. It goes without saying that the guide tracks can be arranged differently in an intersection area of the guide element in order to realize the change of location of the wires. This arrangement is particularly compact.

According to the invention, the guideways are designed in such a way that the change of location from a right wire to a left Vein and a left vein to a right vein or from an upper vein to a lower vein and a lower vein to an upper vein takes place. In the case of symmetrical guide elements, it goes without saying that the information on right / left or above / below can be identical except for twisting.

A location of a wire is understood to mean a position of the wire in relation to other wires of the cable. For example, a four-wire cable has four places, for example top right, bottom right, top left, bottom left or outer right, middle right, middle left, left outside.

A star-quad cable, i.e. a cable with cores in a star-quad arrangement, is one of the symmetrical cables. In this cable, four cores are twisted together in a cross shape. Accordingly, the four wires in the cross section of the star quad are arranged at the corners of a square, the wires of a pair being arranged at diagonally opposite corners. The wire pairs that are perpendicular to one another result in a desired high level of crosstalk attenuation from one pair to the other pair. A further advantage of the star quad arrangement is, in addition to the mechanical stabilization of the arrangement of the conductors relative to one another, a higher packing density than with pairing.

Cores in a parallel pair arrangement are not arranged diagonally in pairs, but rather arranged side by side in pairs. Often a wire pair of a "parallel pair" cable is shielded by a wire pair shield.

Advantageous refinements and developments emerge from the further subclaims and from the description with reference to the figures of the drawing.

According to a preferred development of the invention, the guide element has means for compensating for a length offset. A length offset occurs due to a difference in length between several wires. Accordingly, it is possible that the length of the veins changing place differs from that of the other veins. Accordingly, it can be provided that the guideways of the non-changing veins are artificially lengthened compared to the guideways of the non-relocating strands, for example by the guideways of the non-relocating strands being curved in such a way that the guideways are extended to the same length of a guideway of a non-relocating vein.

According to a preferred development of the invention, the guide element has a screen element at the first end and / or at the second end. The shielding of the wires in the region of the guide element can thus be improved.

It is useful if the screen element is designed in a cross shape and can be arranged centrally between the wires is. The shielding of the wires from one another in the region of the guide element can thus also be improved.

According to a preferred development of the invention, the guide element can be mounted in different orientations, in particular in eight orientations. Accordingly, it can be provided that the guide tracks are designed to be rotationally symmetrical to one another. This facilitates the assembly of the guide element, since the guide element is thus not mounted the wrong way round. This is particularly advantageous in the case of robot-assisted assembly.

According to a preferred development of the invention, the guide element has a groove on one side surface, in particular a groove in each case on two opposite side surfaces. A particularly simple and effective fastening means or latching means of the guide element is thus created.

According to a preferred development of the invention, the guide element has changes that are formed perpendicularly between the guide tracks for tuning the veins. It goes without saying that the walls can be interrupted in the intersection area of the veins changing place. In this way, the shielding of the wires from one another in the region of the guide element is further improved.

According to a preferred development of the invention, the at least two wires, with respect to which the change of place occurs, cross in an intersection area.

It is particularly useful if the guide element also has at least one, in particular two, shielded area, in which the wires are shielded from one another by the guide element, and in particular the at least two wires with respect to which the change of place occurs are not shielded from one another by the guide element in the intersection area.

Because of the shielding, the electrical properties of the guide element are improved. Accordingly, a guide element with a shielded area can be used in transmission links with higher transmission rates.

It is further advantageous if the guide element is designed in such a way that the shielded area is formed as long as possible. In this way, an interference point in the impedance due to an unshielded section can be minimized.

The electrical properties can be further improved in that the two cores, with respect to which the change of location occurs, are shielded from one another in the crossing area by a separate outer conductor, in particular by an outer conductor foil. In the intersection area, it is true that the intersection area can be shielded with great constructive and manufacturing effort. However, the production of a guide element is simplified if the wires in the crossing area are not shielded. In this case, the wires can be shielded by other means, such as an outer conductor foil. A similar improvement in the electrical properties compared to the variant of a guide element with a shielded crossing area can thus be ensured.

According to a preferred development of the invention, the guide tracks run in such a way that there is no change of position of two wires at the first end of the guide element compared to the second end, the guide tracks being shaped in such a way that the two wires, with respect to which there is no change of location, via a entire length of the guide element are shielded.

In this way, it is possible to provide shielding for the cores that do not change location without great structural effort or manufacturing effort.

The above configurations and developments can be combined with one another as desired, provided that it makes sense. Further possible configurations, developments and implementations of the invention also include combinations of features of the invention that are not explicitly mentioned above or below with regard to the exemplary embodiments. In particular, the person skilled in the art will also add individual aspects as improvements or additions to the respective basic form of the present invention.

BESCHREIBUNG VON AUSFÜHRUNGSBEISPIELENDESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS

Dementsprechend weist das Führungselement 10 vier Führungsbahnen 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4 für jeweils eine elektrische Ader auf.the Figures 1-3 each show a perspective view of a guide element 10 for four electrical wires. Accordingly the guide element 10 has four guide tracks 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4 for one electrical wire each.

The guide tracks 12.1 and 12.2 run in such a way that the arrangement of the wires 102.1 and 102.2 of the guide tracks 12.1 and 12.2 with respect to the wires 102.3 and 102.4 of the guide tracks 12.3 and 12.4 is interchanged between the first end 14 and the second end 16.

The guideways 12.4 and 12.3 have a bend in order to compensate for the length offset due to the change of location of the wires 102.1 and 102.2. The bend is a means 18 for compensating for the length offset.

The guide element 10 has a screen element 20 at the first end 14 and at the second end 16. The shield element is designed as a star-shaped extension and shields the wires 12.1, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4 from one another in the area of the first end 14 and the second end 16, respectively. Due to the star-shaped extension, an optimized transition from the cable arrangement to the guide element is guaranteed. This controls the mechanical course of the wires and ensures shielding in the transition area. Furthermore, the guide element ensures impedance control and shielding in the area of the guide element.

Although the present invention has been fully described above on the basis of preferred exemplary embodiments, it is not restricted thereto, but rather can be modified in many different ways.

The guide element 10 has two laterally opposite grooves 22. The grooves are used to fix the guide element in a connector arrangement. For example, it can be provided that an insulating part engages in the grooves.

Der gegenüber des Führungselements 10 kabelseitige Bereich des Kabels 100 bildet den Abschnitt 104.the Figure 4 shows a connector arrangement with a cable 100 and a connector 200. The cable 100 is designed as a "parallel pair" cable. Correspondingly, the wires 102.1 and 102.3 or 102.2 and 102.4 each form a pair in the cable. Both pairs are shielded by a wire pair shield 108. The wire pair screen 108 is designed as a film. The region of the cable 100 on the cable side opposite the guide element 10 forms the section 104.

Figure 4 Figure 12 shows a perspective view from above of a connector assembly. It goes without saying that the "top" or "bottom" orientation can be interchanged.

Figure 5 Figure 13 shows a perspective view from below of a connector assembly.

The guide element 10 is located in a stripped area of the cable 100. It can be seen that the wires 102.1 and 102.2 intersect in the guide element 10. Correspondingly, at the connector-side end of the guide element 10, the wires 102.1 and 102.3 or 102.2 and 102.4 each form pairs whose partners are each diagonally opposite. The area of the cable 100 or the connector 200 on the connector side opposite the guide element 10 forms the section 106 of the connector arrangement.
