Claims (13)

  1. A support for a metal coil (1, 11, 31), wherein the metal coil (1, 11, 31) has a substantially circular cross-section with a circular circumference and the support comprises at least three support points (2, 2', 12, 32) which are so arranged that these contact the metal coil (1, 11, 31) in the direction of the circumference at at least three points (2, 2', 12, 32) when the metal coil (1, 11, 31) is deposited on these support points (2, 2', 12, 32) and the support comprises two bearers (3, 13, 33), at each of which a bearer lever (4, 14, 34) is arranged, and arranged at each bearer lever (4, 14, 34) are two rollers (2, 12, 32) which form the support points (2, 12, 32) on which the metal coil (1, 11, 31) can be deposited, characterised in that the horizontal spacing of the bearers (3, 13, 33) is constructed to be adjustable.

  7. A sample removal station (10) for removal of samples and/or crop ends (23) of a metal coil (1, 11, 31), which comprises the following:
    a support according to any one of the preceding claims;
    means (18), preferably a chisel, for opening the metal coil (1, 11, 31);
    means (21), preferably shears, for separating a sample piece and/or crop end (23); and
    means for binding the metal coil (1, 11, 31) after removal of the sample and/or the crop end (23) of the metal coil (1, 11, 31).
  8. A sample removal station according to claim 7, which further comprises the following:
    at least one presser roller (16) which is so arranged and constructed that this can be pressed substantially from above onto the metal coil (1, 11, 31) in order to prevent the metal coil (1, 11, 31) from springing open; and/or
    means for winding back the metal coil (1, 11, 31).
  9. A pallet system (30), particularly for storage and transport of metal coils (1, 11, 31), which comprises the following:
    a pallet (35) which comprises a support according to any one of claims 1 to 6.
  10. A pallet system according to claim 9, wherein means for connection of a crane transport are provided at the pallet (35) and/or at the support.
  11. A coiling device (40), particularly a hot-strip coiler (40), which comprises a coiling mandrel (44) and a support according to any one of claims 1 to 6 and/or a pallet system (30) according to claim 9 or 10, wherein the coiling device (40) is so constructed that a metal coil (1, 11, 31) disposed on the coiling mandrel (44) can be stored on the support or on the pallet system (30).
  12. Method for removing a sample piece and/or a crop end (23) with use of the sample removal station (10) according to claim 7 or 8, which comprises the following steps:
    laying the metal coil (1, 11, 31) on the support in the sample removal station (10) or moving the metal coil (1, 11, 31), which was previously deposited on the support, together with the support into the sample removal station (10);
    laying the at least one presser roller (16) on the upper side of the metal coil (1, 11, 31); );
    undoing the metal coil (1, 11, 31);
    unwinding the metal coil (1, 11, 31);
    separating off a sample (23);
    winding back the metal coil (1, 11, 31); and
    selectable binding of the metal coil (1, 11, 31).
  13. Method of winding a metal coil (1, 11, 31) by a coiling device (40) according to claim 11, which comprises the following steps:
    winding the metal coil (1, 11, 31) on the coiling mandrel (44); and
    withdrawing the metal coil (1, 11, 31) inclusive of the support or the pallet system (30) from the coiling mandrel (44).
