Claims (11)
- A clip-on fixing suitable for the mounting of fittings such as socket spanner closures, swivelling lever closures, hinge parts, handles, retaining brackets of door stay hinges or flap supports in apertures (12, 14) in a thin wall (16, 50), comprising a head part (24), which is to be arranged on one outer side (18) of the thin wall (16) and covers the outer edge (20) of the aperture and from which a trunk part (26, 28, 30, 32), which projects through the aperture in the mounted position, proceeds, from which trunk part (26, 28, 30, 32) retaining elements (36), which yield against spring force protrude in the direction of its outer surface, the free ends of which retaining elements (36) have an inclined surface (38) for play-free support of the trunk part on the edge or border (40) of the aperture of the other inner side (42) of the thin wall (16), wherein trunk part (26, 28, 30, 32) and retaining element (36) and the spring which generates the spring force are separate parts, characterised in that the retaining elements (36, 336) are slides (56) arranged displaceably in a cylinder (54) which is rectangular in cross-section and parallel to the plane of the thin wall, and in that the slides (56) are retained against pressure spring force (21, 321) by a hook apparatus which locks between the slides themselves or in the cylinder or in that the slides (336) are composed of a rigid material such as metal and are retained against pressure spring force (21, 321) by a pinned fitting apparatus (92) arranged between them.
- The clip-on fixing according to the first alternative of Claim 1, characterised in that, in the case of a different loading of the two diametrically opposite retaining elements, as in the case of use with a sash fastener (52), one retaining element (36) under less load is composed of flexible plastic, such as polyamide, and the other retaining element (136) under greater load is composed of a rigid material such as metal.
- The clip-on fixing according to the second alternative of Claim 1, characterised in that the pinned fitting is composed of screws (27) which can be screwed (37) in the head part (382).
- The clip-on fixing according to Claim 3, characterised in that the screws (27) define the distance of the movement of the retaining elements (1136, 29).
- The clip-on fixing according to Claim 1, characterised in that the cylinder (54) has a partial separating wall (358) or undercut or aperture border on which the slides (36, 336, 536, 636) are axially supported with a shoulder or hook.
- A fitting with a clip-on fixing according to one of Claims 1 to 5, wherein the fitting is a swivelling or hinged lever closure (10) suitable for fixing in an elongate aperture (12, 17, 14) or two shorter rectangular apertures (12, 14), wherein, in the mounted state, one aperture (12) receives a lever bearing (66) and the other aperture (14) receives a lever lock (170, 70), characterised in that at least one of the apertures (12, 14) also serves to receive at least one trunk part (28, 128, 32) with retaining elements according to one of preceding Claims 1 to 5.
- The fitting with a clip-on fixing according to Claim 6, wherein the fitting has a swivelling or hinged lever closure with a cavity (24) suitable for lockably receiving the actuating lever (22), characterised in that the cavity (24) forms the head part of one or two trunk parts with retaining elements in the region of the lever bearing such as a drive shaft (66).
- The fitting with a clip-on fixing according to Claim 6 or 7, wherein the fitting has a swivelling or hinged lever (10) with a cavity (24) for lockably receiving the actuating lever (22), characterised in that the cavity (24) forms on the one hand the rear-engagement surface (74, 174) for the thumb of a lever lock (70, 170), and on the other hand the head part of a trunk part with retaining elements in the region of the lever lock.
- The fitting with a clip-on fixing according to Claim 6, 7 or 8, characterised in that the retaining elements are formed by displaceably retained slides (56), the axis of movement of which lies perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of the cavity.
- The clip-on fixing according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that supporting elements (46, 48, 94, 96) retained or borne by this trunk part (26, 28, 30, 32) are provided to support the retaining elements (36) after the mounting of the fitting in the thin wall (16).
- The clip-on fixing according to one of Claims 1 to 5 and 10, characterised in that two retaining elements (36) arranged diametrically opposite one another are supported by spring apparatuses such as spiral springs (44).
