Definitions
- the invention relates to a shaving system for an electric hair trimmer, in particular for an electric shaver.
- Short shaving systems that have at least one perforated shearing foil and a cooperating lower blade are particularly suitable for a thorough shave.
- a thorough shave is made considerably more difficult if, in addition to the stubble, longer hairs are present as well. These longer hairs are relatively less likely to penetrate the perforated sheeting to be severed by the lower knife. For this reason, sheeting systems are often combined with long-hair trimmers which pre-shorten the hair to a length suitable for the sheeting.
- An electric shaver with multiple shear systems is for example from the EP 0 914 235 B1 and the EP 0 923 430 B1 known.
- the EP 0 914 235 B1 discloses a dry shaver comprising a first shaving system having a first upper blade and a first lower blade relatively movably mounted therebetween, and a second shaving system having a second upper blade and a second lower blade oscillating movably mounted thereunder.
- the first upper knife is mounted oscillating movable and serves as a skin vibration part.
- the first upper blade is driven at the same frequency as the second lower blade.
- the first upper knife puts the skin in vibration under another of the shear systems.
- a rotary shaver which has a top blade which has an acute-angled edge formed by the outer surface of the upper blade and one of its side surfaces.
- a dry shaver with first and second shaving systems is known. All blades of the first shear system are driven to cut and cause skin vibration. The upper blade of at least one other shear system, however, is inactive. Likewise, it is also possible that the upper blade of the first shaving system is oscillated and thus serves as a skin vibration member and the upper blade of the second shaving system is inactive.
- the razor result in terms of additionally existing long hair can be significantly improved. Under unfavorable circumstances, however, it may happen that longer hair, which lie close to the skin, are not detected by the shear systems and thus not severed.
- the invention has for its object to form a shearing system for an electric hair trimmer so that even closely fitting to the skin hairs are reliably detected and severed.
- the shearing system according to the invention has at least one upper blade and one lower blade, which cooperate for severing hair.
- the upper blade has at least one inner surface adjacent to the lower blade, at least one outer surface provided for skin contact and at least one lateral surface extending between the contours of the inner surface and the outer surface, wherein an at least partially acute-angled first edge is formed by the lateral surface and the outer surface of the upper blade ,
- the hair trimmer according to the invention is characterized in that an at least partially acute-angled second edge is formed by the side surface and the inner surface of the upper blade, which preferably has an edge angle between 40 ° and 60 °. Due to the acute-angled design of the second edge, the cutting forces are reduced.
- the invention has the advantage that it allows a reliable and thorough hair reduction, in particular, even for closely fitting to the skin hair is a high probability that these are erected and severed. Thus, it is sufficient to guide the shaving system of the present invention for a hair clipper for thorough hair shortening only once or a few times over the same skin area, so that the total time required for the hair shortening is reduced.
- the outer surface of the upper blade may be formed flat and the first edge may have an edge angle which is at least partially smaller than 80 ° and preferably between 40 ° and 60 °. In this angle range, a thorough hair reduction with a low risk of skin irritation or skin injuries is possible.
- the outer surface of the upper blade has a three-dimensional structure.
- the skin surface can be locally deformed and thereby further increase the efficiency of hair reduction, especially with regard to closely fitting to the skin hairs. It is particularly advantageous if the outer surface of the upper blade is formed wavy.
- the further development with a three-dimensionally structured outer surface is preferably carried out in such a way that an angle which is at least partially smaller than 80 ° and preferably between 40 ° is enclosed by the side surface of the upper blade and a plane surface tangent to the outer surface of the upper blade in the region of the first edge and 60 °.
- the fictitious plane surface serves only to define the angle with regard to the three-dimensional structure of the outer surface.
- a groove is formed on the side surface of the upper blade.
- a groove can be relatively easily produced for example by etching and allows a particularly reliable lifting of close fitting to the skin hairs.
- the groove may extend to the outer surface of the upper blade and preferably also to the inner surface of the upper blade.
- the upper blade is preferably designed as a comb with a plurality of tines arranged parallel to the inner surface.
- the tines can be formed in particular by a meander-shaped contour of the upper blade.
- Such a trained upper blade promotes the threading of the hair and is mechanically stable.
- the upper blade and / or the lower blade may have a U-shaped cross-section. In this way, a sufficient stability can be achieved and form the shear system very compact.
- the upper blade and / or the lower blade is movable and in particular performs a linear oscillating movement. It is advantageous, for example, to achieve a high cutting speed and to reduce vibrations when the upper blade and the lower blade are driven in opposite directions.
- stationary pressure elements may be provided, which protrude beyond the outer surface of the upper blade. With the help of these pressure elements can be prevented that the skin follows the movements of the upper knife.
- a particularly compact design can be achieved if the pressure elements are integrated into the structure of the upper blade and thus require little or no additional space.
- the shaving system according to the invention is used in a hair trimmer, wherein at least one further shaving system is provided, which is designed as a shorthair cutting system, in particular as a shear foil system.
- a thorough hair reduction can be achieved very close to the skin.
- Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a shaving head 1 of an electric shaver with an inventively designed long-hair trimmer 2 in a sectional view.
- the long-hair trimmer 2 is laterally between a first shear foil system 3 and a second Scherfoliensystem 4 arranged.
- the first shear foil system 3 has a first shear foil 5 and a first blade block 6, and the second shear foil system 4 has a second shear foil 7 and a second blade block 8.
- the long-hair trimmer 2 serves to pre-shorten the hair and thereby facilitate threading into the openings of the perforated sheeting 5 and 7.
- the long-hair trimmer 2 can also be used in a shaving head 1 with a different number of Scherfoliensystemen 3 or 4 or other shear systems than the Scherfoliensystemen 3 and 4.
- the long-hair trimmer 2 can be arranged laterally next to a single shear foil system 3 or 4 of the shaving head 1.
- the long-hair trimmer 2 can also be used without an additional shear foil system 3 or 4 in an electric beard trimmer or an electric hair trimmer.
- Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of the long-hair trimmer 2 according to the invention in a perspective view.
- An associated sectional view across the long-hair trimmer 2 is in Fig. 3 shown.
- the long-hair trimmer 2 has a meander-shaped comb 9 with a plurality of pointed tines 10. In two end regions 11, the comb 9 no prongs 10, but is flat. In cross-section, the comb 9 is U-shaped and this welded together, for example, three parts.
- a multiple cross-slotted blade 12 is arranged with a likewise U-shaped cross-section which bears resiliently against the teeth 10 of the comb 9.
- the long-hair trimmer 2 By means of two retaining arms 13 made of plastic, which are arranged on the opposite narrow sides of the long-hair trimmer 2, the long-hair trimmer 2 in its installation environment, for example in the in Fig. 1 shown shaving head 1, to be fixed.
- the two retaining arms 13 are connected to each other by means of two pressure strips 14 which run along the longitudinal sides of the long-hair trimmer 2.
- the pressure strips 14 have a plurality of pressure elements 15 which are spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the pressure strips 14 and which project beyond the comb 9. Via a lever mechanism 16, the comb 9 and the blade 12 can be driven.
- the comb 9 and the blade 12 are offset parallel to their longitudinal direction in mutually opposite phase linearly oscillating movements of the same frequency, the comb 9 typically oscillates with an amplitude of about 0.2 mm.
- the comb 9 typically oscillates with an amplitude of about 0.2 mm.
- the comb 9 or alone the blade 12 can be driven.
- the oscillation movement of the comb 9 supports the erection of hair close to the skin, when the long-hair trimmer 2 is passed over the skin, the comb 9 rests against the skin.
- the skin is fixed by the pressure elements 15 in order to prevent them from following the movement of the comb 9.
- the erect or already protruding from the skin hair are supplied between the tines 10 of the comb 9 of the blade 12 and cut in the contact area between the blade 12 and the comb 9.
- Fig. 4 shows an enlarged section Fig. 2 , An associated side view of this section is in Fig. 5 shown.
- the outer shape of the comb 9 is of great importance to the invention and is defined by an inner surface 17, an outer surface 18 and a side surface 19. Depending on the geometry of the comb 9, the surfaces 17, 18 and 19 may each also not be formed contiguous and accordingly a plurality of inner surfaces 17, outer surfaces 18 and side surfaces 19 may be present.
- the inner surface 17 of the comb 9 is planar and serves as a contact surface for the blade 12.
- the outer surface 18 of the comb 9 is formed substantially congruent to the inner surface 17 and is located during shaving on the skin. In contrast to the inner surface 17, however, the outer surface 18 is not formed flat, but has a wavy surface topography.
- this waveform is formed so that along the longitudinal direction of the comb 9 elevations 20 and depressions 21 follow each other periodically and transverse to this direction is no modulation of the surface.
- the side surface 19 of the comb 9 extends between the inner surface 17 and the outer surface 18 and forms with the inner surface 17 a cutting edge 22 and with the outer surface 18 an outer edge 23.
- a groove is formed, so that the side surface 19 is concave.
- the outer edge 23 of the comb 9 is formed acute-angled, that is, has an edge angle which is smaller than 90 °.
- the side surface 19 includes in the region of the outer edge 23 with a tangential to the outer surface 18 adjacent flat surface 24 an angle ⁇ , which is smaller than 90 °, so that the angle ⁇ is also an acute angle. This means that during shaving a near-skin portion of the side surface 19 encloses an acute angle with the skin surface.
- the combing of the hair from the skin surface through the comb 9 is in principle the more reliable, the smaller the angle ⁇ is selected. However, with each reduction in the angle ⁇ , the risk of skin injury or skin irritation increases, so that very small values for the angle ⁇ are eliminated.
- the angle ⁇ is determined in each case outside the rounding, but nevertheless as close as possible to the outer surface 18 of the comb 9. Values are preferably used for the angle ⁇ below 80 °, with a range between 40 ° and 60 ° is a good compromise between Auflammrial and risk of injury.
- the groove on the side surface 19 of the comb 9 also has the consequence that the cutting edge 22 is formed at an acute angle and thus the cutting angle is smaller than 90 °.
- the angle ⁇ In a symmetrical design and position of the groove between the inner surface 17 and the outer surface 18 of the comb 9 of the intersection angle has the same value as the angle ⁇ .
- the acute-angled design of the cutting edge 22 has a relation to a rectangular training, a reduction in the cutting forces result. Good results can be achieved with the same values as for the angle ⁇ , ie. H. with cutting angles between 40 ° and 60 °.
- the cutting edge 22 is not or at most slightly rounded.
- the outer surface 18 of the comb 9 is flat.
- the invention can be modified so that the side surface 19 of the comb 9 instead of the groove has a different shape, which has an acute-angled outer edge 23 result. This shape can be generated by straight and / or curved sections.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a shaving system for an electric hair trimmer, in particular for an electric shaver.
With electric shavers very good shaving results can be achieved if the shaved stubble to be shaved are not too long and protrude almost vertically from the skin. Short shaving systems that have at least one perforated shearing foil and a cooperating lower blade are particularly suitable for a thorough shave. However, a thorough shave is made considerably more difficult if, in addition to the stubble, longer hairs are present as well. These longer hairs are relatively less likely to penetrate the perforated sheeting to be severed by the lower knife. For this reason, sheeting systems are often combined with long-hair trimmers which pre-shorten the hair to a length suitable for the sheeting.

With these measures, the razor result in terms of additionally existing long hair can be significantly improved. Under unfavorable circumstances, however, it may happen that longer hair, which lie close to the skin, are not detected by the shear systems and thus not severed.
The invention has for its object to form a shearing system for an electric hair trimmer so that even closely fitting to the skin hairs are reliably detected and severed.
This object is achieved by the combination of features of claim 1.
The shearing system according to the invention has at least one upper blade and one lower blade, which cooperate for severing hair. The upper blade has at least one inner surface adjacent to the lower blade, at least one outer surface provided for skin contact and at least one lateral surface extending between the contours of the inner surface and the outer surface, wherein an at least partially acute-angled first edge is formed by the lateral surface and the outer surface of the upper blade , The hair trimmer according to the invention is characterized in that an at least partially acute-angled second edge is formed by the side surface and the inner surface of the upper blade, which preferably has an edge angle between 40 ° and 60 °. Due to the acute-angled design of the second edge, the cutting forces are reduced.
The invention has the advantage that it allows a reliable and thorough hair reduction, in particular, even for closely fitting to the skin hair is a high probability that these are erected and severed. Thus, it is sufficient to guide the shaving system of the present invention for a hair clipper for thorough hair shortening only once or a few times over the same skin area, so that the total time required for the hair shortening is reduced.
The outer surface of the upper blade may be formed flat and the first edge may have an edge angle which is at least partially smaller than 80 ° and preferably between 40 ° and 60 °. In this angle range, a thorough hair reduction with a low risk of skin irritation or skin injuries is possible.
In a development of the invention, the outer surface of the upper blade has a three-dimensional structure. Thus, the skin surface can be locally deformed and thereby further increase the efficiency of hair reduction, especially with regard to closely fitting to the skin hairs. It is particularly advantageous if the outer surface of the upper blade is formed wavy. The further development with a three-dimensionally structured outer surface is preferably carried out in such a way that an angle which is at least partially smaller than 80 ° and preferably between 40 ° is enclosed by the side surface of the upper blade and a plane surface tangent to the outer surface of the upper blade in the region of the first edge and 60 °. The fictitious plane surface serves only to define the angle with regard to the three-dimensional structure of the outer surface.
In a preferred embodiment, a groove is formed on the side surface of the upper blade. A groove can be relatively easily produced for example by etching and allows a particularly reliable lifting of close fitting to the skin hairs. The groove may extend to the outer surface of the upper blade and preferably also to the inner surface of the upper blade.
The upper blade is preferably designed as a comb with a plurality of tines arranged parallel to the inner surface. The tines can be formed in particular by a meander-shaped contour of the upper blade. Such a trained upper blade promotes the threading of the hair and is mechanically stable. Furthermore, the upper blade and / or the lower blade may have a U-shaped cross-section. In this way, a sufficient stability can be achieved and form the shear system very compact. In the context of the invention there is the possibility that the upper blade and / or the lower blade is movable and in particular performs a linear oscillating movement. It is advantageous, for example, to achieve a high cutting speed and to reduce vibrations when the upper blade and the lower blade are driven in opposite directions.
In the shear system according to the invention stationary pressure elements may be provided, which protrude beyond the outer surface of the upper blade. With the help of these pressure elements can be prevented that the skin follows the movements of the upper knife. A particularly compact design can be achieved if the pressure elements are integrated into the structure of the upper blade and thus require little or no additional space.
Preferably, the shaving system according to the invention is used in a hair trimmer, wherein at least one further shaving system is provided, which is designed as a shorthair cutting system, in particular as a shear foil system. As a result, a thorough hair reduction can be achieved very close to the skin.

Likewise, the long-
Preferably, the
On the
The combing of the hair from the skin surface through the
The groove on the
In a modification of the invention, the
