A high flexibility of the conductor arrangement is to be ensured.
- the insulating material of the sheaths of the conductor elements and / or of the carrier is a thermoplastic elastomer.
- Such materials may be used in per se known technology be used the predetermined low wall thicknesses. They have a good flexibility and also allow a good mechanical connection between the carrier and the coated conductor elements, preferably by common training of carriers and sheaths.

- These areas will be hereinafter also referred to as shroud-web areas, while the free surface areas of the sheaths 3 are designated 14 outside these connecting areas.
- the conductor wires 1A are known metallic wires, which may also be composed of a plurality of conductors or filaments which may be stranded or otherwise bundled together. - the low layer thicknesses are preferably realized by using per se known flexible insulating materials based on thermoplastic elastomers (TBE), which can have a property profile corresponding to the respective requirement profile.
- TBE thermoplastic elastomers
- these are preferably thermoplastic elastomers based on polyolefins (TPE-O), polyamides (TPE-A), polyurethanes (TPE-U), styrene copolymers (TPE-S), styrene / Butadiene / styrene block polymers (S / B / S), styrene / ethylene-butylene / styrene block polymers (S / EB / S) and ethylene vinyl acetate (E / V / A).

- media such as hydraulic fluid can be integrated into the conductor arrangement (cf., FIG. 3).
- the multi-conductor arrangement according to the invention can be designed for all common conductor cross sections of their conductor elements or their conductor wires, mainly those with 1.5 or 2.5 or 4 or 6 mm 2 cross-section.
- different conductor cross sections of conductor elements 1i or 9j in a conductor arrangement L can also be combined with one another.
- each conductor core 1A of its five conductor elements 1i is formed from one or more Cu conductors, each conductor core having a metallic cross-sectional area of 4 mm 2 .
- the conductor core of each of the five elements is in each case surrounded by a tubular core insulation 2 with a thickness ⁇ between 0.1 and 0.3 mm.
- These wire insulation in turn are encased by a sheath 3 of thermoplastic elastomer insulation material having a thickness d of at most 0.5 mm.
- the insulating (outer) sheath of the carrier 10, which also consists of the thermoplastic elastomer material of the sheaths 3, has a thickness D between 0.5 and 0.8 mm.

Description
The invention relates to a multi-conductor arrangement for energy and / or data transmission with a plurality of conductor elements, each having a metallic conductor core with a core insulation and further comprising an insulating sheath and are mechanically interconnected. In addition, means for contacting the conductor elements are present.
In the electrical connection of various end users such as motors, actuators, sensors or actuators often ladder assemblies or systems for energy transmission and / or data transmission in flat design are currently used, which are also referred to as power bus systems or data bus lines. These conductor arrangements are usually designed as multi / multi-core, rubber or plastic insulated flat cables. In this case, the conductor arrangements are generally isolated in duplicate, namely each individual conductor element forming a conductor element and the entire system as a whole. In the case of known power bus systems, the layer thicknesses for the insulating sheaths of the individual conductor elements currently amount to more than 0.8 mm, while a sheath insulation of the overall line is more than 1.2 mm thick.
- a) The relatively large wall thicknesses consuming contacting mechanisms must be designed and provided. This leads to a time-consuming contact. In addition, the rigidity of the product is very high with relatively little flexibility. This is associated with problems during installation and low bending radii.
- b) The flat design leads to relatively costly and time-consuming installation mechanisms, for example Wall breakthroughs or introductions in control cabinets. Because there slot openings must be provided with a size adapted to the flat design.
- c) In a via, for example by means of a known insulation displacement technology, relatively high layer thicknesses must be penetrated; ie, correspondingly high forces must be applied. Furthermore, extremely close tolerances in the position of the individual conductor elements to each other must be complied with in corresponding bus lines, so that the through-connection detects the center of the respective conductor element.
- d) Due to the flat construction bends are largely possible only on the flat edge. An edgewise bending is practically impossible because the so-called aspect ratio (width to thickness of the bus system) is very large. For example, in a known rubber-insulated flat cable with seven conductor elements of 4 mm 2 cross section, the ratio of width to thickness is about 5 to 1.
- e) When using corresponding flat cables in the North American market, the conductor arrangement - also in the form of a flat cable - must be pulled through a pipe in accordance with UL / CSA for reasons of protection. This is extremely complicated for flat cables.
Because of the aforementioned difficulties known flat cables are mainly used on straight links or with relatively large bending radii. The cables are cut at the end user, individually stripped and contacted there.
Object of the present invention is therefore to provide a multi-conductor arrangement with the features mentioned, in which the above-mentioned difficulties are at least reduced.
- a tubular or tubular support of insulating material with a thickness of at most 1 mm, as well as
- a plurality of arranged on the inside of the carrier conductor elements whose insulating sheaths each have a thickness which is at most equal to the thickness of the carrier.
The advantages associated with this embodiment of the multi-conductor arrangement are to be seen in particular that the installation of a bus system (power bus / data bus) in thin-layer insulation and round construction, the installation of the bus system can be significantly simplified. Instead of consuming slit breakthroughs in masonry or complicated plug-in systems in cabinets, the new multi-conductor arrangement can now be laid by simple and quickly executed round holes. In this case, the conductor arrangement can be installed similarly easy as a normal round cable. Due to the significantly lower rigidity of the multi-conductor arrangement in a round design also relatively small bending radii can be realized in laying work.
In contrast to the previously used flat conductor arrangements, the embodiment of the arrangement according to the invention in thin-film technology leads to a significant reduction in the wall thickness of the insulation of the individual conductor elements as well as a jacket insulation serving as a support.
In addition, the proposed thin-layer insulation allows for easier and safer contact, especially in the application of modern through-hole techniques such as insulation displacement technology, since now lower forces for penetration must be applied by Trägermantel and conductor element isolation. Furthermore, the contacting can be carried out in the middle in the respective conductor element in a simple manner.
Durch die geringeren Wandstärken nimmt im Brandfall auch die Brandlast deutlich ab.Lower wall thicknesses further result in advantages in the consumption of insulating materials and associated cost and weight savings, as well as in the logistical area in the provision of larger quantities of the multi-conductor arrangement also smaller dimensions. Due to the lower wall thickness, the fire load also decreases significantly in case of fire.
Advantageous embodiments of the multi-conductor arrangement according to the invention are evident from the dependent claims.
Thus, the material of the carrier and the material of the sheaths of the conductor elements may be fused to one another on the carrier inside in the region of adjacent surface parts. Such a fastening of the conductor elements can be achieved by a suitable choice of material of the carrier material and wrapping material. Preferably, such a fixation of these parts of the conductor arrangement takes place in that in a common process step, for example in the context of an extrusion process, the sheaths and the carrier coat are produced.
In addition, the choice of material of wrapping material and core insulation material can be made so that the coated with the wire insulation conductor wires in their respective enclosure at least partially movable (relative to the inside of the enclosure, in particular in the longitudinal direction). A high flexibility of the conductor arrangement is to be ensured.
Sie weisen eine gute Flexibilität auf und ermöglichen auch eine gute mechanische Verbindung zwischen dem Träger und den umhüllten Leiterelementen, vorzugsweise durch gemeinsame Ausbildung von Träger und Umhüllungen..Furthermore, it is considered to be particularly advantageous if the insulating material of the sheaths of the conductor elements and / or of the carrier is a thermoplastic elastomer. Such materials may be used in per se known technology be used the predetermined low wall thicknesses. They have a good flexibility and also allow a good mechanical connection between the carrier and the coated conductor elements, preferably by common training of carriers and sheaths.
Advantageously, additional (auxiliary) lines can be accommodated in the interior space enclosed by the support in addition to the conductor elements for energy and / or data transmission. Thus, in addition to the power lines, further data lines, auxiliary power lines (e.g., for low voltage voltages) or hollow wires for gaseous (e.g., compressed air) and / or liquid media (e.g., hydraulic fluid) may be integrated into the conductor assembly. This results in a multimedia line. The wall thickness of the additional cores can be designed to meet the requirements stronger. Optical waveguides can also run in the interior, which are advantageously to be laid protected by the carrier acting as a jacket.
Further advantageous embodiments of the multi-conductor arrangement can be found in the subclaims not mentioned above.

The parts a of the figures show in each case the cross section through the multi-conductor arrangement forming a round conductor with a closed jacket-
The
From the parts b, the
Then, preferably in insulation displacement technology, either from above (see Figures 1b, 3b and 4b) or optionally also from below (see Figure 2b) are contacted. In order to make a clear contact with the individual conductor elements, at least one marking must be present on them or on the
In a contacting from below, as can be seen from part b of Figure 2, comparatively less insulating material must be penetrated. Since the individual conductor elements have a high mobility due to the special one-sided jacket-web construction, it is possible to work with significantly higher tolerances in the position of the conductor elements relative to one another. Nevertheless, the contacting always takes place centrally in the conductor element via the guides in the module-like contacting
In contrast to the previously used bus systems, the design of the conductor arrangement according to the invention in thin-film technology leads to a significant reduction in the wall thickness of the insulation of the
The low layer thicknesses are preferably realized by using per se known flexible insulating materials based on thermoplastic elastomers (TBE), which can have a property profile corresponding to the respective requirement profile. For the insulating materials to be selected advantageously for the conductor elements and the carrier jacket, these are preferably thermoplastic elastomers based on polyolefins (TPE-O), polyamides (TPE-A), polyurethanes (TPE-U), styrene copolymers (TPE-S), styrene / Butadiene / styrene block polymers (S / B / S), styrene / ethylene-butylene / styrene block polymers (S / EB / S) and ethylene vinyl acetate (E / V / A). In principle, it is also possible to choose instead of these elastomers other conventional insulation materials such as other thermoplastics or rubbery materials.
The thermoplastic elastomers which are preferably used can be processed significantly more efficiently in an extrusion process compared to the materials used hitherto, in particular those based on gum, since now, for example, an additional Crosslinking step is eliminated and comparatively higher production speeds are feasible. Since the said thermoplastic elastomers are uncrosslinked and halogen-free flame retardant adjustable, also a trouble-free recycling is to ensure. Compared to known bus lines based on crosslinked, partially halogenated rubber mixtures so the conductor arrangement according to the invention is characterized by a high environmental friendliness.
A smooth outer contour of the
- 1. the illustrated version of a closed round cable with predetermined breaking point in a production step,
- 2. The extrusion of the line in the described one-sided shell-web construction in thin-film technology in a flat or halbbrunder design. In this version, a mechanical connection device in the manner of a "zipper system" can be structurally integrated in the longitudinal direction of the arrangement. In a second step after the extrusion, the conductor arrangement is then transferred into the round line with the aid of this zipper.
Figur 3).Depending on the embodiment, in the
The multi-conductor arrangement according to the invention can be designed for all common conductor cross sections of their conductor elements or their conductor wires, mainly those with 1.5 or 2.5 or 4 or 6 mm 2 cross-section. In this case, according to the embodiment according to FIG. 4, different conductor cross sections of
Der Außendurchmesser des Trägers liegt dann bei etwa 14 mm.According to a specific embodiment of a multi-conductor arrangement according to FIG. 1, each
Furthermore, the figures were only based on embodiments of multi-conductor arrangements L and L 'with
