The connector is via a first plug connection connected to the incoming cable, which is connected to a second connector is looped to which following units can be connected. On the incoming Cables can be placed in a row one after the other multiple sensors and multiple actuators can be connected, these I / O units also mixed on one and the same Cables can be connected. The connector has a connector for connection to the associated Input / output unit on, the connection via a arranged in the housing of the connector Electronics connected to the looped cable. This creates the possibility of using electronics the connection according to the connected I / O unit head for. The user can use the same connector for connecting sensors as well as for connecting Use actuators. This simplifies assembly.
Der intelligente Verbindungsstecker erkennt über die im Gehäuse integrierte Elektronik die angeschlossene Einheit und bindet die Einheit entsprechend an die einzelnen Leitungen des Kabels zum Datenbus an.The intelligent connector recognizes the im Housing integrated electronics the connected unit and binds the unit to the individual accordingly Lines of the cable to the data bus.
In a first embodiment, the housing of the connector is designed like a power strip. The connection to the connected input / output unit becomes as a cable leading out of the housing is formed, the free outer end of a multi-pole Connector for connection to the input / output unit wearing. The plug is preferred as Multipole valve connector designed and used for connection an actuator unit formed by a valve terminal is. By assembling the free end of the connection cable with adapted multi-pin plug can valve terminals different manufacturers connected to the system become.
It may be advantageous to connect the input / output unit than mounted and held in the housing Form plug connection, so that the connector without an external connecting cable directly onto the Housing an input / output unit such as a sensor or an actuator can be plugged on.
The electronics in the housing of the connector are advantageous poured, especially tightly poured, so that even under harsh environmental conditions a mechanical Damage to electronics or influences from dirt, Solvents or the like are safely avoided. This corresponds to the material with which the electronics in the housing is shed, preferably the housing material of the connector.
The connector designed in such a massive manner has a mounting hole that integrates into the housing is. The connector can be attached using the fastening opening be mechanically fixed, being simultaneous the connected cables are fixed in place.
The cast electronics are equipped with a light emitting diode, in the wall of the connector housing as a visual display serves. Self-diagnosis can be carried out via the electronics both the connected input / output unit as well as the incoming and the - further cables are monitored.

The
In addition to the
As shown in Fig. 1 and enlarged in Figs. 2 and 3
shown, the
The
angeschlossen.
The
The
wie Aktoren gemischt angeschlossen werden können.1 shows, with the
Befestigungselement
geführt werden kann.It may be necessary for certain purposes, the
Dadurch
kann am Verbindungsstecker 1 angezeigt werden, ob der
angeschlossene Aktor 2, 4 oder Sensor 3, 5 Funktionsstörungen
zeigt. Gleichzeitig kann über die Leuchtdiode 25
der ordnungsgemäße Zustand des weiterführenden Kabels angezeigt
werden. Der Benutzer kann so ohne aufwendige technische
Maßnahmen durch einen Kontrollgang längs des Kabels
7 feststellen, ob und an welcher Stelle Fehler auftreten. The
For diagnosis of the
Around the connector and the electronics arranged in it
also used in harsh operating environments
can, it is provided, the
Um auch die Verbindungsstecker 20, 30 und den Steckanschluß
40 dicht auszuführen, können Gewindeverbindungen z. B. in
M12 vorgesehen sein. So ist die Schutzklasse IP67 gewährleistet. To also the
vorgesehene elektronische Schalter 23 vom Mikroprozessor 16
The
Der letzte Verbindungsstecker 1 schließt das Kabel 7 ab.
Entsprechend weist dessen Gehäuse 12' nur eine Steckverbindung
20' für für das ankommende Kabel 21' und einen
Steckanschluß 40' für den Sensor 3 auf. Die weiterführende
Steckverbindung ist entfallen.The
In the embodiment of Figures 5 and 6 is the
ausgebildeten Aktoreinheit 4. Die Ventilinsel besteht
aus mehreren, im Ausführungsbeispiel acht nebeneinander
angeordneten Schaltventilen 45, die in einer gemeinsamen
Ventilbank 46 gehalten sind.On the
Der als Anschlußleiste ausgebildete Ventilstecker 1 ist
über die interne Systemverbindung mit dem übergeordneten
Bussystem verbunden und ermöglicht eine direkte Anschaltung
der Multipolventilinsel. Durch entsprechende Konfektionierung
der Anschlußkabel 19a können verschiedene Steckersysteme
der unterschiedlichen Ventilhersteller angeschlossen
werden.The
internen System bzw. übergeordneten System gemeldet werden. The shown in Fig. 4, integrated in the
