Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a clamping device intended to equip an article footwear, such as a shoe or a sandal, intended in particular, but not restrictive, to the practice of sport.
  • the invention specifies elements relating to elements of the clamping device on which is fixed the clamping means itself.
  • the means of tightening a shoe is most often fixed directly on the stem, at the level of the quarters intended to be brought together. So that the means clamp can properly hold the foot, the rod should be as flexible as possible. Yes it is too flexible, the rod can no longer distribute the clamping pressure which may turn out to be painful for the foot. Conversely, a rigid rod allows the pressure to be well distributed tightening but at the expense of comfort and support of the foot, which must be compensated by the use of an internal liner which fills the residual space between the upper and the foot.
  • Document EP 521 287 describes an internal tightening applied to a walking shoe in Mountain.
  • the clamping device is more precise than the previous device because it is closer to the foot.
  • this internal tightening which is carried out by flexible elements, retains the disadvantages mentioned above which arise from the use of a flexible structure.
  • Document FR 2 694 167 describes an external clamping device for a shoe. mountain hike that includes a rigid flap positioned on the side, at level of the instep, on the outer side of the shoe. This component allows to keep plated, thanks to the clamping means, the foot against the medial side of the upper of the shoe.
  • this device has a discontinuity between the upper end of the flap rigid and the most flexible rod located on the other lateral part of the foot.
  • This discontinuity on the top of the instep, can be very painful for the user because the device clamping does not distribute the clamping pressure. Indeed, the tightening system is anchored directly on the end of the rigid flap.
  • Document DE 42 29 036 describes a mountain hiking shoe, the two of which quarters of said rod have an overlap, in particular at the instep, and are fitted with a lace tightening system.
  • This device makes it possible in particular to simplify the opening of the shoe while ensuring the water resistance thereof.
  • the stem having a substantially identical flexibility in the two quarters, does not allow to distribute comfortably the clamping pressure on the foot.
  • the two stem quarters are deform symmetrically to enclose the foot and the clamping device does not therefore does not press the foot against a predetermined quarter of the rod.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide an improved clamping device resolving in particular the drawbacks exposed above of the prior art.
  • One of the aims of the present invention is to provide a clamping device intended to equipping an article of footwear which makes it possible to keep the foot pressed against one of the sides of the footwear, while ensuring a distribution on the foot of the pressure generated by the clamping system.
  • Another object of the invention is to propose a clamping device which improves the rigidity in torsion of the footwear while respecting as much as possible the bending of said article fit.
  • the clamping device comprises a lower flap and a flap upper comprising an overlapping area which partially covers the lower flap.
  • a clamping means comprising at least An anchoring on each of the flaps
  • the upper flap is more flexible than the lower flap.
  • the anchor located at the upper flap is positioned in the area of overlap.
  • the flaps constitute the upper of the footwear.
  • the flaps being positioned outside the rod of the footwear, form an external tightening device.
  • the flaps being positioned inside the rod of the footwear, form an internal tightening device.
  • the upper flap is an integral part of the rod. footwear.

  • the upper flap 2 comprises, at the level of the lower end 2b, fixing means capable of securing the upper flap 2 to the sole 100.
  • the sole 100 includes a outsole 100a surmounted by a sole damping intermediate 100b, the means for fixing the flaps 1, 2, in particular of bonding type, used to fix said flaps 1, 2, on the midsole depreciation 100b.
  • These fixing means may advantageously be covered by a 100d comfort sole, in particular in leather, intended to be in contact with the foot and to cover the top of sole 100.
  • the clamping device also comprises a clamping means 4 which comprises at at least one anchor 11, 12, positioned on each of the flaps 1, 2.
  • This clamping means allows to bring the two flaps 1, 2 together, in order to enclose the foot against the sole 100.
  • the means of tightening 4 presently illustrated is of the lace tightening type comprising a link 30 which connects alternately anchors 11, 12, which are here lace references which are fixed to the flaps 1, 2 and which, by allowing the link 30 to slide, transmitting the tightening forces to said shutters (1, 2).
  • the clamping means 4 also comprises a locking means, not shown in the figure, which can be a knot or in particular a blocker mounted on the link 30, making it possible to maintain the tension in the link 30.
  • the anchors 12, 12a located at the level of the upper flap 2, are positioned in the overlap zone 5.
  • This zone of overlap 5 is defined by the overlap of the flaps 1, 2, when the tightening is closed around a foot. It extends from the upper end 2a of the flap 2 in direction of the sole 100.
  • the anchors 11, located on the lower flap 1 are positioned outside the projection of the overlapping zone 5 on the flap 1.
  • flaps 1, 2 In order to properly hold the foot in the CH footwear, flaps 1, 2, will be advantageously arranged at the instep so as to enclose this part of the foot. Similarly, it is preferable that the flaps 1, 2, do not extend at the level of the joint metatarsophalangeal and at the malleolus of the ankle joint so as not to not hinder the flexion of said joints.
  • One solution among others is to position the flaps 1, 2, between the two areas of the foot previously mentioned. Respect for this constructive arrangement guarantees maximum comfort for the foot while respecting the biomechanics of the foot and ankle joint.
  • both flaps also meet at the back of the leg and are integral with each other, particularly at level of the calf muscle or at the back of the ankle.
  • FIG. 1a which represents a cross section of the first embodiment
  • the upper flap 2 is distinguished from lower flap 1 in particular by the fact that the upper flap 2 has greater flexibility compared to the lower flap 1.
  • This asymmetry of flexibility allows, among other things, to predetermine a reference component, in this case the component more rigid which is here the lower flap 1, against which the foot will be immobilized by the this clamping device.
  • the upper flap 2 being the most flexible, will deform more than the lower flap 1.
  • the upper flap 2 will therefore come press against the foot and optionally move the foot laterally towards the lower flap 1 until the foot comes to rest against the lower flap 1.
  • the rigidity of the lower flap 1 also allows better distribution on the foot of the pressure generated by the clamping device 4.
  • the clamping means 4 generates known manner a primary force F1 which tends to bring the two flaps 1, 2 together, and to stabilize laterally the foot.
  • this force F4 is invariably accompanied by a secondary force F2 which is perpendicular to the primary force F1 and which tends to press the foot P on the sole (100, 100b).
  • the primary force F1 is substantially horizontal and oriented transversely to the footwear CH, while the secondary force F2 is substantially vertical and oriented downwards.
  • the clamping means 4 at the level of the upper flap 2, being located on the overlapping zone 5, said forces (F1, F2) apply directly to the lower flap 1.
  • the rigidity of the lower flap 1 allows to control the bending of the flap 1, and therefore to limit the downward deformation which is induced by the secondary force F2. Compliance with this constructive provision makes it possible to obtain a powerful lateral support of the foot P against the lower flap 1 while not generating uncomfortable overpressure on the top of the foot.
  • the flexibility of the upper flap 2 is obtained by recesses 24a, 24b, on the upper flap 2 which make it possible to soften and ventilate said flap 2.
  • the upper flap 2 can advantageously comprise at least one recess 24b which opens onto the sole 100, and which delimits a front branch 25 in the flap 2.
  • the branch 25 is fixed to the sole 100 at the joint metatarsophalangeal to provide good lateral support of the foot.
  • the upper pane 2 may also include at least one recess 24a which remains included in shutter 2.
  • This recess 24a advantageously has an elongated shape whose large dimension is oriented substantially in the curvilinear direction D1, D2, perpendicular to the upper edge of the foot, and connecting at the instep the upper edge of the foot to the sole 100. Even, the recess 24a will advantageously be positioned between two curvilinear directions D1, D2, which pass through two constituent anchors 12, 12a, located on the upper flap 2. Thus, the holding force exerted by the link 30 on the anchors 12, 12a, is well transmitted directly to the sole 100, without the recess 24a altering the power of the Tightening.
  • the presence of the recesses 24a, 24b in the upper flap 2 also allows soften the shutter 2 and therefore use the same material for the upper shutter 2 and the shutter lower 1.
  • these recesses 24a, 24b can be combined with other measures described later, making it possible to soften the upper flap 2 as in particular the use of a softer or thinner material for the upper flap 2. All combinations of the recesses 24a, 24b, with other means remain in accordance with the invention as long as the upper flap 2 has greater flexibility than the lower flap 1.
  • This element of comfort can be an internal lining positioned punctual at the edge 1a of the flap 1, or in particular an internal sock positioned under flaps 1, 2, and connected on both sides to said flaps 1, 2, or to the sole
  • This element of comfort not illustrated, can be made in particular of neoprene or fabric. elastic.
  • the footwear CH represented is a sports shoe with an O average height used in particular for the practice of walking.

  • the lace 30 passes through the anchors 11, 12, positioned on the flaps 1, 2, maintaining the foot at the instep, then passes through the references 43 before being blocked by a blocking means 31 such as a knot.
  • the flaps 1, 2 are fixed to the sole 100 of known way between the rod O and the sole 100, possibly at the level of the sole depreciation 100b.
  • the flap placed on the lateral part that is to say on the external side, which is most stressed in deformation in order to fit the foot at the level of the neck of foot.
  • the flaps 1, 2, being fixed on the sole 100, 100b they cannot pivot at the like a hinge, but only deform in bending.

  • the lower pane 1 may advantageously be fixed to the rod O by fixing means, such as seams, which allow a hinge-type pivoting of said flap. These seams can be placed slightly above the top of sole 100, where you can see the most great curvature of the foot on its external face, in order to best adapt to the morphology of the foot.
  • the rod O is reinforced in its mechanical structure by the flaps 1, 2, which are External. This improvement in the mechanical characteristics of the footwear CH allows to the latter to better resist torsional deformations. This improvement is reinforced by the overlapping geometry of the flaps 1, 2, which create with the sole 100 a structure almost closed and very resistant to torsional forces.

The two flaps hold the foot laterally by means of tightening means (4) which include an anchoring (11,12) on each of the flaps. The upper flap is more supple than the lower flap. An Independent claim is included for footwear fitted with the tightening device.

Description

The present invention relates to a clamping device intended to equip an article footwear, such as a shoe or a sandal, intended in particular, but not restrictive, to the practice of sport. The invention specifies elements relating to elements of the clamping device on which is fixed the clamping means itself.

In the prior art, the means of tightening a shoe is most often fixed directly on the stem, at the level of the quarters intended to be brought together.

Document EP 521 287 describes an internal tightening applied to a walking shoe in Mountain. The clamping device is more precise than the previous device because it is closer to the foot. However, this internal tightening, which is carried out by flexible elements, retains the disadvantages mentioned above which arise from the use of a flexible structure.

Document FR 2 694 167 describes an external clamping device for a shoe. mountain hike that includes a rigid flap positioned on the side, at level of the instep, on the outer side of the shoe. This component allows to keep plated, thanks to the clamping means, the foot against the medial side of the upper of the shoe.

However, this device has a discontinuity between the upper end of the flap rigid and the most flexible rod located on the other lateral part of the foot. This discontinuity, on the top of the instep, can be very painful for the user because the device clamping does not distribute the clamping pressure. Indeed, the tightening system is anchored directly on the end of the rigid flap.

Document DE 42 29 036 describes a mountain hiking shoe, the two of which quarters of said rod have an overlap, in particular at the instep, and are fitted with a lace tightening system. This device makes it possible in particular to simplify the opening of the shoe while ensuring the water resistance thereof. But the stem, having a substantially identical flexibility in the two quarters, does not allow to distribute comfortably the clamping pressure on the foot. In addition, the two stem quarters are deform symmetrically to enclose the foot and the clamping device does not therefore does not press the foot against a predetermined quarter of the rod.

The object of the present invention is to provide an improved clamping device resolving in particular the drawbacks exposed above of the prior art.

One of the aims of the present invention is to provide a clamping device intended to equipping an article of footwear which makes it possible to keep the foot pressed against one of the sides of the footwear, while ensuring a distribution on the foot of the pressure generated by the clamping system.

Another object of the invention is to propose a clamping device which improves the rigidity in torsion of the footwear while respecting as much as possible the bending of said article fit.

To achieve these objectives, the clamping device comprises a lower flap and a flap upper comprising an overlapping area which partially covers the lower flap. In order to properly distribute the pressures generated by a clamping means comprising at least An anchoring on each of the flaps, the upper flap is more flexible than the lower flap. Of even, the anchor located at the upper flap is positioned in the area of overlap.

In the first embodiment, the flaps constitute the upper of the footwear.

In a second embodiment, the flaps, being positioned outside the rod of the footwear, form an external tightening device.

In a third embodiment, the flaps, being positioned inside the rod of the footwear, form an internal tightening device.

In a fourth embodiment, the upper flap is an integral part of the rod. footwear.

Ledit dispositif de serrage maintient verticalement et latéralement le pied grâce à des volets 1, 2.In FIG. 1, the footwear CH shown is a sandal. The sandal does not include no full shank, but the user's foot is held on the sole 100 directly by the clamping device according to the present invention. Said clamping device maintains the foot vertically and laterally by flaps 1, 2.

However, this additional means of maintenance is not not essential, the footwear thus obtained then being a mule type sandal which leave the heel free. The rear support here consists of a strap 26 which is fixed to one flaps 1, and which passes through a reference 27 fixed on the other flap 2. The strap 26b which includes fixing means, in particular of the hook-and-loop type, making it possible to fix the back 26b on strap 26.

Le volet supérieur 2 recouvre en partie le volet inférieur 1 au niveau d'une zone de chevauchement 5.The clamping device comprises a lower flap 1 and an upper flap 2 arranged on each of the lateral and medial sides of the footwear CH. The upper flap 2 covers in part of the lower flap 1 at an overlap zone 5.

In this first embodiment, the flaps 1, 2, directly constitute the rod of the footwear CH, and are fixed on the sole 100. Thus, the lower flap 1 comprises at level of the lower end 1b of the fixing means capable of securing said flap 1 to the sole 100. Likewise, the upper flap 2 comprises, at the level of the lower end 2b, fixing means capable of securing the upper flap 2 to the sole 100. The sole 100, presently illustrated, includes a outsole 100a surmounted by a sole damping intermediate 100b, the means for fixing the flaps 1, 2, in particular of bonding type, used to fix said flaps 1, 2, on the midsole depreciation 100b. These fixing means may advantageously be covered by a 100d comfort sole, in particular in leather, intended to be in contact with the foot and to cover the top of sole 100.

The clamping device also comprises a clamping means 4 which comprises at at least one anchor 11, 12, positioned on each of the flaps 1, 2. This clamping means allows to bring the two flaps 1, 2 together, in order to enclose the foot against the sole 100. The means of tightening 4 presently illustrated is of the lace tightening type comprising a link 30 which connects alternately anchors 11, 12, which are here lace references which are fixed to the flaps 1, 2 and which, by allowing the link 30 to slide, transmitting the tightening forces to said shutters (1, 2). The clamping means 4 also comprises a locking means, not shown in the figure, which can be a knot or in particular a blocker mounted on the link 30, making it possible to maintain the tension in the link 30. The anchors 12, 12a, located at the level of the upper flap 2, are positioned in the overlap zone 5. This zone of overlap 5 is defined by the overlap of the flaps 1, 2, when the tightening is closed around a foot. It extends from the upper end 2a of the flap 2 in direction of the sole 100. In addition, the anchors 11, located on the lower flap 1, are positioned outside the projection of the overlapping zone 5 on the flap 1. Thus, whatever the position of the clamping device during the different phases of use, in particular open or closed, the end 2a of the upper flap 2 does not cover the anchors 11 which are located on the lower flap 1.

In order to properly hold the foot in the CH footwear, flaps 1, 2, will be advantageously arranged at the instep so as to enclose this part of the foot. Similarly, it is preferable that the flaps 1, 2, do not extend at the level of the joint metatarsophalangeal and at the malleolus of the ankle joint so as not to not hinder the flexion of said joints. One solution among others is to position the flaps 1, 2, between the two areas of the foot previously mentioned. Respect for this constructive arrangement guarantees maximum comfort for the foot while respecting the biomechanics of the foot and ankle joint.

Of course, the arrangement of the flaps at the base of the leg, above the malleoli of the ankle joint, is in accordance with the invention. In this case, both flaps also meet at the back of the leg and are integral with each other, particularly at level of the calf muscle or at the back of the ankle.

Le volet supérieur 2 va donc venir se plaquer contre le pied et éventuellement déplacer latéralement le pied vers le volet inférieur 1 jusqu'à ce que le pied vienne prendre appui contre le volet inférieur 1.In FIG. 1a, which represents a cross section of the first embodiment, the upper flap 2 is distinguished from lower flap 1 in particular by the fact that the upper flap 2 has greater flexibility compared to the lower flap 1. This asymmetry of flexibility allows, among other things, to predetermine a reference component, in this case the component more rigid which is here the lower flap 1, against which the foot will be immobilized by the this clamping device. Indeed, under the action of the clamping means 4 acting on the two flaps 1, 2, via the anchors 11, 12, the upper flap 2 being the most flexible, will deform more than the lower flap 1. The upper flap 2 will therefore come press against the foot and optionally move the foot laterally towards the lower flap 1 until the foot comes to rest against the lower flap 1.

In addition, the rigidity of the lower flap 1 also allows better distribution on the foot of the pressure generated by the clamping device 4. Indeed, the clamping means 4 generates known manner a primary force F1 which tends to bring the two flaps 1, 2 together, and to stabilize laterally the foot. But this force F4 is invariably accompanied by a secondary force F2 which is perpendicular to the primary force F1 and which tends to press the foot P on the sole (100, 100b). In the section illustrated in FIG. 1a, the primary force F1 is substantially horizontal and oriented transversely to the footwear CH, while the secondary force F2 is substantially vertical and oriented downwards. In addition, the clamping means 4, at the level of the upper flap 2, being located on the overlapping zone 5, said forces (F1, F2) apply directly to the lower flap 1. Thus, the rigidity of the lower flap 1 allows to control the bending of the flap 1, and therefore to limit the downward deformation which is induced by the secondary force F2. Compliance with this constructive provision makes it possible to obtain a powerful lateral support of the foot P against the lower flap 1 while not generating uncomfortable overpressure on the top of the foot. Indeed, we can advantageously define the rigidity of the lower flap 1, so that the latter, under the action of the clamping system 4, leaves an empty space V on the top of the foot or at least better substantially touch the above the foot P without exerting overpressure.

In the preferred embodiment and illustrated in Figure 1, the flexibility of the upper flap 2 is obtained by recesses 24a, 24b, on the upper flap 2 which make it possible to soften and ventilate said flap 2. The upper flap 2 can advantageously comprise at least one recess 24b which opens onto the sole 100, and which delimits a front branch 25 in the flap 2. The branch 25 is fixed to the sole 100 at the joint metatarsophalangeal to provide good lateral support of the foot. The upper pane 2 may also include at least one recess 24a which remains included in shutter 2. This recess 24a advantageously has an elongated shape whose large dimension is oriented substantially in the curvilinear direction D1, D2, perpendicular to the upper edge of the foot, and connecting at the instep the upper edge of the foot to the sole 100. even, the recess 24a will advantageously be positioned between two curvilinear directions D1, D2, which pass through two constituent anchors 12, 12a, located on the upper flap 2. Thus, the holding force exerted by the link 30 on the anchors 12, 12a, is well transmitted directly to the sole 100, without the recess 24a altering the power of the Tightening.

The presence of the recesses 24a, 24b in the upper flap 2 also allows soften the shutter 2 and therefore use the same material for the upper shutter 2 and the shutter lower 1. Of course, these recesses 24a, 24b, can be combined with other measures described later, making it possible to soften the upper flap 2 as in particular the use of a softer or thinner material for the upper flap 2. All combinations of the recesses 24a, 24b, with other means remain in accordance with the invention as long as the upper flap 2 has greater flexibility than the lower flap 1.

It may also be advantageous to provide the footwear CH with an element of comfort, at the edge 1a of the lower flap 1, which is located at the end of the zone of overlap 5. This element of comfort can be an internal lining positioned punctual at the edge 1a of the flap 1, or in particular an internal sock positioned under flaps 1, 2, and connected on both sides to said flaps 1, 2, or to the sole This element of comfort, not illustrated, can be made in particular of neoprene or fabric. elastic.

In FIG. 2, the footwear CH represented is a sports shoe with an O average height used in particular for the practice of walking. Footwear CH includes a sole 100 surmounted by a rod O which is itself surmounted by the flaps 1, 2, of this clamping device. Like lower pane 1 and upper pane 2 are positioned outside the rod O, they constitute, with the clamping means 4, a clamping device external to the footwear CH. However, the remarks relating to the clamping device described in the previous embodiment, remain applicable to present embodiment.

For this type of footwear CH, ventilation is not essential since the upper O is positioned between the flaps 1, 2, and the foot P, the relative flexibility of the upper flap 2, by compared to the lower flap 1, is obtained, for example, by the use of a thinner material for the upper flap 2 than the lower flap 1. Indeed, with identical material, more the thickness of the flap 2 is low, the more the upper flap 2 will be flexible. The advantages obtained by the flexibility of the upper flap 2 relative to the lower flap 1 remain identical to those described in the previous embodiment.

In the preferred embodiment and illustrated in Figure 2, the clamping means 4, which is positioned on the flaps 1, 2, also extends on the rod O at the articulation of the ankle. Indeed, the rod O comprises at least one lace reference 43 disposed substantially symmetrically on each of its two lateral and medial faces Oa, Ob, and arranged more high and further back with respect to the yaw references 11, 12, arranged on the flaps 1, 2. Thus, the lace 30 passes through the anchors 11, 12, positioned on the flaps 1, 2, maintaining the foot at the instep, then passes through the references 43 before being blocked by a blocking means 31 such as a knot. Similarly, the flaps 1, 2, are fixed to the sole 100 of known way between the rod O and the sole 100, possibly at the level of the sole depreciation 100b. Thus, tightening is more effective thanks to the total independence between the deformation of the rod O relative to the approximation of the flaps 1, 2, one relative to the other.

C'est pourquoi le volet inférieur 1, au caractère rigide, sera avantageusement disposé du côté médial, c'est-à-dire inter, de l'article chaussant CH et le volet supérieur 2, au caractère souple, sera disposé du côté latéral, c'est-à-dire externe, de l'article chaussant CH.Given the asymmetry of the foot, it is the flap placed on the lateral part, that is to say on the external side, which is most stressed in deformation in order to fit the foot at the level of the neck of foot. However, the flaps 1, 2, being fixed on the sole 100, 100b, they cannot pivot at the like a hinge, but only deform in bending. This is why the component lower 1, rigid, will advantageously be arranged on the medial side, that is to say inter, of the footwear CH and the upper flap 2, flexible, will be arranged on the side lateral, that is to say external, of the footwear CH.

Of course, depending on the desired effect, we can adopt a reverse arrangement with the lower flap 1, more rigid, arranged on the lateral side of the foot as specified in the document FR 2 694 167. However, as specified in said document, the lower pane 1 may advantageously be fixed to the rod O by fixing means, such as seams, which allow a hinge-type pivoting of said flap. These seams can be placed slightly above the top of sole 100, where you can see the most great curvature of the foot on its external face, in order to best adapt to the morphology of the foot.

The rod O is reinforced in its mechanical structure by the flaps 1, 2, which are External. This improvement in the mechanical characteristics of the footwear CH allows to the latter to better resist torsional deformations. This improvement is reinforced by the overlapping geometry of the flaps 1, 2, which create with the sole 100 a structure almost closed and very resistant to torsional forces.

Le volet supérieur 2 est présentement illustré en position retournée.FIG. 3 represents a variant of the footwear item CH previously described, but which is shown with the clamping device open and not equipped with clamping means so to illustrate the elements provided by this variant. The upper flap 2 is currently illustrated in the inverted position.

In this variant, the flexibility of the upper flap 2 is obtained by the use, for the flap upper 2, of one or more materials which are more flexible than those used for the lower flap 1. By way of nonlimiting examples, the lower flap 1 may be produced by plastic material in particular thermoformed polypropylene, ABS, polyethylene type 0.5 to 2.5 mm thick, while the upper flap 2 will be made of leather or tissue. Similarly, if the lower flap 1 is made of leather, then the upper flap may be made of fabric.

The lower flap 1 may advantageously include specific arrangements located substantially on the longitudinal axis D of the foot, in order to hinder as little as possible the flexibility in front flexion of the foot and ankle joint. The lower flap 1 may therefore include a notch 15, located on its upper part and substantially along the axis longitudinal D of the foot, which allows, during flexion of the ankle, to reserve a space for the tibia bone. Similarly, the footwear CH may advantageously be provided with a tongue 32 which is padded and comfortable in order to improve comfort in terms of the notch 15. The lower flap 1 may also include at least one recess 14 arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis D of the foot, in particular on the top of the foot. This recess 14, which makes it possible to soften in forward bending the lower flap 1, could advantageously be positioned between two anchors 11, 12, of the lower flap 1. The compliance with this constructive arrangement makes it possible to position the lace crossover substantially on the recess 14 which prevents the lace from stiffening in flexion the lower flap 1.

This CH footwear is intended more particularly for the practice of mountain hiking, paragliding, walks on a glacier, but can also equip a chassis intended for skating in line and ice skating.

The footwear CH comprises a sole 100 comprising a outsole 100a surmounted by a protective strip 100c which rises vertically along the rod O so protect it from impacts, especially on stones, while walking. The lower flap 1 is positioned on the medial side of the footwear CH. Lower flaps 1 and upper flaps 2 can be fixed to the sole 100 as described above, or else fixed to the upper O on inside the protective strip 100c, by fixing means 28b such as seams. In order to perfect protection against stones, the CH footwear item is equipped a heel counter 20 which preferably surrounds the ankle and the heel, and which extends upwards along the rod O above the protective strip 100c. This buttress of heel 20, made of rigid or semi-rigid material, in particular of plastic type, is fixed to the rod O by suitable means such as seams 28 which are positioned preferably along the periphery of the heel counter 20.

Ceci permet un serrage performant comme précédemment décrit à la figure 2.On the footwear CH illustrated in FIG. 4, the lower flap 1 extends backwards in integrating the heel counter 20. The flap 1 and the heel counter 20 therefore forms only one one and the same piece. The lower flap 1 is also fixed to the rod O by a seam 28a which preferably extends in a direction substantially parallel to the upper edge of the instep and which connects the seam 28b to the seam 28. Thus, the lower flap 1 is separates from the rod O over a substantially constant width defined by the seams 28a, 28b. This allows efficient tightening as previously described in Figure 2.

In addition, the tightening means 4 extends upwards of the footwear CH, outside the lower flap 1, by a yaw return 41 disposed substantially at the articulation of the ankle which allows the foot to be held firmly in the footwear CH by a tightening the heel perimeter. In addition, the lower flap 1 includes a recess 29 complementary to the yaw reference 41 which advantageously releases the rod O at the level of the ankle joint area.

Similarly, the clamping means 4 can advantageously extend upward passing in lace references 42 which are positioned on a collar 21. Said collar 21 having a rigid character, is pivotally mounted on the heel counter 20 by means of a connection such as a rivet 22 and is intended to stiffen the dowel.

L'article chaussant CH est représenté en vue éclatée en perspective du côté externe dans laquelle le lien du moyen de serrage 4 n'est pas représenté par soucis de clarté.FIG. 5 illustrates an article of footwear CH intended for the practice of cross-country skiing, and in particular but not limited to the practice of the technique of alternative steps. The footwear CH is shown in exploded perspective view of the external side in which the link of the clamping means 4 is not shown for the sake of clarity.

In this embodiment, the footwear comprises an upper O intended in particular for protect the foot from snow and cold covering the lower flap 1 and the upper flap 2 thus constituting a tightening device internal to the footwear CH. For more comfort, the foot is positioned inside a comfort envelope 33 and is held by the flaps 1 and 2 which are external to the comfort envelope 33, and which are fixed to the sole 100. The comfort envelope 33 can be removable or fixed to the fitting of the footwear CH to the sole 100. The tightening device, constituted by said flaps 1, 2, conforms to construction details previously described.

Ce maintien intercalé est réalisé au niveau de la zone de piqûre 36b du volet supérieur 2.The footwear CH is also provided with a heel counter 20 which surrounds the heel and which is fixed to the sole 100 while being positioned outside the footwear CH. The heel counter 20 includes suitable fastening means, such as seams 34, which allow the heel counter 20 to be fixed on the comfort sock 33 at the stitching area 36a, and which make it possible to fix the heel counter 20 on the upper flap 2 at the stitching area 36b. The seam 34 also holds the rod O, at the stitching area 36c, sandwiched between the upper flap 2, at the stitching area 36b and the heel counter 20. This interposed support is produced at the level of the stitching area 36b of the upper flap 2.

During the practice of the alternative step, the footwear CH serves, on the one hand, to guide laterally the ski but also to lift said ski during the advancement phase of the leg. Thus, the weight of the ski is taken up by the top of the foot. However, at the instep, the the top of the foot is much more sensitive on its lateral, that is to say external, side. It is why the lower flap 1 could advantageously be positioned on the internal side of the foot in order to constitute a rigid bearing surface allowing the weight of the ski to be taken up, and the flap upper 2 which is flexible, positioned on the lateral side for the comfort of the foot.

This CH footwear is intended also to be fixed on a plate or else to be articulated on said plate in order to inline skating and ice skating. This variant embodiment differs mainly of the embodiment, illustrated in Figure 5, by the heel counter 20 and the lower pane 1 which are no longer two separate parts, but form a single part here designated by holding piece 50.

Indeed, the lower flap 1 extends rearward continuously by integrating the heel buttress 20. However, the lower flap 1 is positioned under the rod O, to form with the upper flap 2 an internal tightening device in the footwear CH, and the heel counter 20 remains external to the footwear CH. To obtain this result, the rod O comprises suitable fixing means such as a seam 34a which fixes the rod O to the exterior of the lower flap 1, at a stitching area 36d. Likewise, the buttress of heel 20 includes suitable fastening means such as seams 34 which fix the heel counter 20 on the outside of the footwear CH, at a stitching area 36a. The heel counter 20 is here fixed, by the seam 34, to the comfort sock 33. A once the CH footwear has been assembled, the seams 34 and 34a may advantageously be aligned.

Ce retour facilite la fixation par des moyens connus tels que des coutures ou de la colle, de la pièce de maintien 50 sur la semelle 100.In addition, the retaining piece 50 has a thickness variation, close to the area stitching 36d which makes it possible to delimit the heel counter 20 whose thickness is more important than the thickness of the lower flap 1. The thickness of the heel counter 20 will be substantially equal to the thickness of the flap 1 at the stitching area 36d supplemented with the thickness of the rod O. Thus, the rod O, at the level of the stitching area 36d, comes flush with the heel counter 20 and therefore the footwear CH does not have points at this level grip between the two shoes which could be dangerous for the user during sports. The holding piece 50 will advantageously include a return 70 which extends substantially horizontally from the lower edge 71 towards inside the footwear CH. This return facilitates fixing by known means such as as seams or glue, of the retaining piece 50 on the sole 100.

In this embodiment currently illustrated, the flap upper 2 is an integral part of the upper O of the footwear CH, and the lower flap 1 is positioned inside the rod O. The present device therefore achieves a half-tightening internal, i.e. internal tightening with a single flap. The footwear CH includes a comfort sock 33 intended to be in contact with the foot, which is surmounted by the flap lower 1. The lower flap 1 is covered by the rod O which comprises a means of appropriate closure 35, in particular of the zipper type. Rod O, lower flap 1 and possibly the comfort sock 33 are fixed to the sole 100 by methods known such as the use of a first mounting sole 100e. For example, elements O, 1, 33, are fixed on the underside of the first mounting sole 100e, then the whole is fixed to the sole 100.

Cependant, l'ancrage 12 pourra être avantageusement en sangle afin d'être de moindre épaisseur et pourra être avantageusement fixé à la tige O par des coutures 51.The clamping means 4, which is shown without the link for clarity, comprises at at least one anchor 11, which is fixed on top of the lower flap 1, and at least one anchor 12 which is fixed on the internal face 3 of the upper flap 2, said internal face 3 being opposite the lower flap 1. Likewise, the anchor 12 is positioned directly above the lower flap 1 so as not to not interfere during the tightening phase of the tightening means 4. In addition, the rigidity of the flap lower 1 distributes the hard point represented by the anchor 12 which is pressed against said flap 1 by the rod O and its closure means 35. However, the anchor 12 may be advantageously in strap in order to be less thick and may advantageously be fixed to the rod O by seams 51.

The upper flap 2 is always an integral part of the upper O of the footwear CH, but the lower flap 1 is external to the rod O so as to constitute an external half-clamp, at know an external tightening with a single flap. The rod O and the lower flap 1 are fixed known manner and previously described with the sole 100. However, the anchoring 12 of the means of clamping 73, the link of which is not shown, is positioned on top of the upper flap 2. The rod portion O, which is positioned under the flap 1, includes a return 52 which allows protect the foot from contact with the edge of the shutter 1, and which connects to the other portion 74 of rod O comprising the upper flap 2. The junction between the return 52 and the flap 2, positioned next to it of the anchor 12, can be achieved in particular by a strong curvature of the rod O which is held by the fixing means 51 of the anchor 12 which can advantageously pass through the two thicknesses of rod O. Compliance with this constructive arrangement ensures a good tightness of the rod O in the face of external aggressions such as rain or snow.

In FIG. 9, the footwear CH represented is a bicycle shoe intended in particular, and not limited to, the practice of mountain biking. The current CH shoe will advantageously cooperate with a pedal of the bicycle in order to optimize the pedaling power by pulling the pedal up. When the pedal is hooked to the sole 100, the tensile force of the foot is reflected on the top of the foot, especially at instep level. The rigid nature of the lower flap 1, which is positioned in particular on the top of the foot, also helps limit upward deformation of the upper O the footwear CH. Thus, the lower flap 1 also plays a role in distributing the tensile forces on the top of the foot.

In the preferred embodiment and illustrated in FIG. 9, the lower flap 1 is positioned on the instep and on the medial side of the foot. The upper flap 2 is brought closer to the lower flap 1 by a tightening means 4 which preferably comprises a strap 60 the width of which is pressed against the lower flap 1. The strap 60 is fixed at its ends either to the lower flap 1, or to the rod O, or else to the sole 100 at two points distinct from the medial side of the footwear CH, and passes into a reference 61 which is supported on the upper flap 2 at the level of the overlapping zone 5. The reference 61 is connected to a closure and / or adjustment system such as a loop 62 which is fixed to the upper flap 2.

Of course, the clamping means 4 can be different and in particular, but not limitative, include a return which is directly attached to the upper flap 2. The function of adjustment and closing will then be carried over to the strap 60 for example in the zone of attachment, on the medial side of the footwear, of one of the ends of the strap 60.

Figure 9 also illustrates a construction variant of the upper flap 2. The flap upper 2 extends rearwards by integrating a heel counter 20 to form a single retaining piece 75. The heel counter 20 is fixed to the outside of the upper O by means suitable such as a seam 76 which extends substantially along a portion of the periphery of the heel counter 20 and which is extended by a seam 76a separating the portion of the upper flap 2 of the heel counter portion 20. Thus, the upper flap 2 is not fixed to the rod O only by its base and by the seam 76a in order to ensure better tightening of the article fit. In addition, if the holding piece 75 is made of a single material, for example in thermoplastic material, the flexible nature of the upper flap 2 can advantageously be obtained by at least one recess 63. This recess 63, which can be through or else include a reduction in the thickness of the upper flap 2, is oriented in a direction C which is substantially parallel to the upper edge E of the kick. This direction corresponds approximately to the preferred bending axis of the upper flap 2 for wrap the foot.

The flexibility of the upper flap 2 relative to the lower flap 1 can be obtained by a narrower width of the upper flap 2 relative to the lower flap 1. Thus, flaps 1, 2, and heel counter 20 can be made with the same material and possibly constitute only one and the same piece which surrounds the heel and extends along from the upper O towards the front, covering the sides and the top of the instep.

The clamping device can also be completed by a clamping means complementary 64. In FIG. 9, this complementary tightening means 64 is independent of this clamping device and is of the hook-and-loop type and is positioned on top of the foot at the metatarsophalangeal joint of the foot.

Of course, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, which are given for information only, but encompasses all combinations of modes and construction variants, in particular relating to the lower flap and to the upper flap described in the various embodiments, and also encompasses all of the embodiments similar or equivalent.

The present invention also encompasses shoes equipped with this device for Tightening.
