Claims (11)

  1. Method for transmitting warning messages in telematic applications, in particular in telematic traffic applications, wherein a central authority communicates with at least one telematic terminal via a mobile communication network and the method has the following steps:

    retrieving warning messages for the current location area from a database and editing of the warning messages by the central authority;

    characterised in that the warning messages are allocated to priority categories and when the warning messages are transmitted to the terminal only warning messages of one or more predetermined priority categories are taken into account.
