Abstract

The invention relates to a method for welcoming and providing information for subscribers, in particular guest subscribers, of a mobile radio network in which, at the network end, one or more welcoming messages and a welcoming list in the form of subscriber-specific entries are stored in suitable locations that are already present or are set up separately for this purpose, and each time there is a registration request from a guest subscriber, a check is made at the network end to determine whether a welcoming message has already been communicated to the guest subscriber and the latter has received the said message properly, and if the guest subscriber has not yet received a welcoming message, or has received an incomplete welcoming message, a welcoming message is communicated to the subscriber and a subscriber-specific entry is generated in the welcoming list or, if already present, the said entry is updated.

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Begrüßung und Information von Teilnehmern, insbesondere Gastteilnehmem, eines Mobilfunknetzes nach dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1. ln der folgenden Beschreibung wird von GSM-kompatiblen Mobilfunknetzen ausgegangen.
