Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und einen Rundfunkempfänger zum Auswerten von in DAB-Ausstrahlungen enthaltenen DAB-Durchsagen einer momentan von einem DAB-Rundfunkempfänger empfangenen DAB-Sendestation. Hierbei wird aus einem von der DAB-Sendestation ausgestrahlten Lokalisierungssignal (TII-Kode) ein erster geographischer Ort des momentanen Standortes des DAB-Rundfunkempfängers sowie aus einem Kopfblock einer DAB-Durchsage ein zweiter geographischer Ort eines die DAB-Durchsage betreffenden Ereignisses bestimmt, wobei anschließend eine erste Entfernung zwischen dem ersten und dem zweiten geographischen Ort bestimmt und die DAB-Durchsage sofort einem Zuhörer am DAB-Rundfunkempfänger zu Gehör gebracht wird, wenn die erste Entfernung einen vorbestimmten Wert unterschreitet. Ein Benutzer gibt einen Radius bzw. eine Entfernung und Richtung eines als Umgebungscharakteristik bezeichneten geographischen Bereiches um den geographischen Ort des Rundfunkempfängers herum an, wobei nur solche DAB-Durchsagen sofort zu Gehör gebracht werden, welche innerhalb der Umgebungscharakteristik liegen.

The invention relates to a method and a radio receiver for evaluating DAB announcements contained in DAB broadcasts of a DAB transmitter station currently received by a DAB radio receiver.
