Abstract

Based on a transmission method in which a broadcast transmitter can selectively call one broadcast receiver from a multiplicity of broadcast receivers by means of a call telegram, the call telegrams are transmitted as RDS (Radio Data System) telegrams. Funkrufsysteme werden jetzt auch für den Betrieb außerhalb geschlossener Arreale installiert z.B. als Stadtfunkrufsysteme oder landesweite Funkrufsysteme. Schon bisher strahlen die Rundfunkanstalten insbesondere mit ihren Programmen für Autofahrer und insbesondere in der Ferienreisezeit an Einzelpersonen gerichtete Suchmeldungen und Durchsagen aus, wegen derer das eigentliche Programm unterbrochen werden muß. Dabei handelt es sich aber nicht um selektive Rufe; denn obwohl die Durchsagen jeweils nur eine Person betreffen, werden sie von Tausenden empfangen. Dies ist einerseits unerwünscht, andererseits geradezu notwendig, um die Wahrscheinlichkeit dafür, daß die Nachricht beim Adressaten ankommt, überhaupt auf einen akzeptablen Wert zu bringen (auch durch die Mithilfe der Mithörer).So far, the broadcasters have been broadcasting, especially with their programs for motorists and especially during the holiday season targeted at individuals and announcements, because of which the actual program must be interrupted. Die dafür erforderlichen Kosten werden relativ gering sein, jedenfalls erheblich geringer als die Kosten für einen gesonderten Rufempfänger. Claims (2)
