Claims (8)

  1. A car radio receiver, comprising a removable part (2) in which there are accommodated elements which implement an indispensable receiver function and which is provided with keys (5) and a display screen (4), characterized in that the removable part is provided with a programmable timer circuit, means for programming the timer circuit by means of said keys (15), and an audio element which is triggered by the timer circuit when the programmed time has expired.
  2. A radio receiver as claimed in Claim 1, characterized in that its removable part comprises means (4) for displaying, upon request (5), the programmed time on the display screen.
  3. A radio receiver as claimed in Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said removable part comprises a memory, means for entering data therein by means of said keys (5), and means for displaying said data on the display screen (4).
  4. A radio receiver as claimed in any one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that the removable part (2) comprises the circuits of the receiver which serve for tuning.
  5. A radio receiver as claimed in any one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that said removable part (2) comprises a generator circuit which is capable of generating several pulse sequences, and means for despatching, upon request, one of these sequences by means of an infrared transmitter (9), the generator circuit comprising means for generating pulse sequences for controlling given functions of the vehicle.
  6. A radio receiver as claimed in any one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that for an automobile equipped with an infrared remote control system for locking and unlocking its doors said removable part (3) comprises a generator capable of generating a sequence of encoded pulses which are suitable to control the locks of the vehicle, and means for despatching said pulse sequence by means of infrared light emitted by an electroluminescent diode (9) when one of the keys is pressed.
  7. A radio receiver as claimed in any one of the preceding Claims, characterized in that for an automobile equipped with a bus which transmits the instructions of a central locking or unlocking system for the locks of the doors, it comprises comprises means (7) for connection to said bus and means for recognizing the instructions from said central system.
  8. An electronic apparatus as claimed in any one of the Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that its removable part (2) has the functions of an on-board clock.
