Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren entsprechend dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a method according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Es ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Nahtverbindungen von laufenden Warenbahnen an Abrolleinrichtung, z.B. für Streicheinrichtungen, bekannt, bei welchem ein doppelseitiges Klebeband auf das Ende der zum Tambour gewickelten Bahn geklebt wird. Wenn das Bahnende danach an dem Tambour festgelegt ist, wird die zweite Deckfolie vom Klebeband abgezogen, so daß beim Andrücken der alten, am Tambour vorbeilaufenden Bahn die Herstellung der Verbindung der Enden der Warenbahnen erfolgt. Dabei tritt der Nachteil auf, daß in der nachfolgenden Streicheinrichtung, z.B. an einer als Rakelelement für die Streichmasse dienenden Klinge, ein starker Stoß durch das vordere Ende der hinzugefügten Papierbahn an der Klinge entsteht. Durch die DE-C 30 02 069 ist ein Verfahren zur Durchführung einer Splice-Verbindung bekanntgeworden, bei welchem ein doppelseitiges Klebeband verwendet wird, das auf seiner einen Seite ein Deckband trägt, das nur eine einseitige Klebeschicht hat, und das mit der nichtklebenden Seite auf das erste Band aufgeklebt ist. Mit seiner anderen Seite wird das so kombinierte Band auf einem Trägerstab festgeklebt. Durch Anpressen des Trägerstabs an eine Wickelrolle wird dabei das beidseitige Klebeband auf die äußerste Windung der Wickelrolle aufgeklebt, wonach durch Entfernen des Trägerstabes das einseitige Zusatzklebeband von dem beidseitigen Klebeband getrennt wird. Mit Hilfe des beidseitigen Klebebandes wird dann in einer Tragwalzen-Wickelvorrichtung der Bahnanfang einer neuen Bahn auf das ende der Wickelrolle aufgeklebt. Die Splice-Verbindung ist also dazu vorgesehen, in einer Tragwalzen-Wickelvorrichtung die Bahnverbindung herzustellen, wobei die Vorbereitung des Bahnendes der alten Wickelrolle unmittelbar vor dem Splice-Vorgang in der Wickeleinrichtung erfolgt. Würde man dieses Verfahren allgemein anwenden wollen, also insbesondere für den Fall, Bahnverbindungen für Bahnen herzustellen, die in Streicheinrichtungen benutzt werden, hätte man den schon beschriebenen Nachteil, daß auch hier ein verhältnismäßig dicker Stoß das Arbeiten der Streicheinrichtung stark beeinträchtigen könnte. Der dicke Stoß entsteht nämlich dadurch, daß sowohl das Bahnende der alten Wickelrolle und der Klebestreifen mit ihrer Gesamtdicke unter dem Streichelement, z.B. einer Streichklinge hindurchlaufen müssen. Ferner eignet sich das beschriebene Verfahren nur für die dort beschriebene Einrichtung an einer Wickelmaschine, wo unmittelbar vor dem Splice-Vorgang die Vorbereitung des Bahnendes für den Splice erfolgt. Bei Streicheinrichtungen ist es aber üblich und auch erforderlich, daß die neue Wickelrolle eine erhebliche Zeit vor dem Splice-Vorgang zwecks Lagerung und Transport derselben vorbereitet ist.From DE-C 30 02 069 a method for performing a splice connection has become known, in which a double-sided adhesive tape is used, which carries a cover tape on one side, which has only a one-sided adhesive layer, and with the non-adhesive side the first tape is glued on. Dadurch ist an dieser Stelle die Verbindung des Warenbahnendes C mit der alten Warenbahn D möglich. Die Pfeile in der Fig. 3 geben die Laufrichtung der Warenbahn an. Dann wird hier z.B. auf das nicht festgeklebte Ende (da sich dort noch die Deckfolie 4 befindet) im Bereich von der Längskante des Bandes ein schmaler, beidseitig klebender Klebestreifen 7 mit Deckfolie 8 nach Fig. 1 auf das Klebeband 2 aufgeklebt. All dies kann von Hand geschehen oder auch durch eine Abrolleinrichtung für ein Band, die an einer zur Achse des Bahnwickels parallelen Schiene geführt ist. Der Begriff "schmaler Klebestreifen (oder Klebefilm) bedeutet hier, daß er nicht die volle Breite, sondern z.B. nur eine Breite von höchstens 80 % der Breite des Klebebandes 2, 2' usw. hat. Es kann dann durch eine gesteuerte Schwenkbewegung des Arbeitstisches 50 der Klebestreifen auch in Zick-Zack-Form auf dem Warenbahnende angeheftet werden. Diese Schwenkbewegung kann entweder durch einen Schrittmotor oder mittels hydraulischer Elemente entsprechend den Elementen 21 und 29 gemäß Figur 9 unter Zuhilfenahme von Endschaltern bewerkstelligt werden. Claims (4)

  1. A method for joining the start of a web of a reel (A) at a splice point to the end of a web uncoiling from another reel, with an adhesive tape (1) which has an adhesive layer on one side, characterised in that the adhesive tape (1) is glued to the inner side, relative to the reel (A), of the start of the web and projects with its adhesive layer in the peripheral direction beyond the start of the web and has on its rear side at least one auxiliary adhesive strip (6, 7; 6', 7'; 10) which is provided on either side with an adhesive layer and - when the outermost web winding is taut - as adhesive tape (1) adheres securely to the reel of web at the end of the outermost web winding and wherein the end of the web of one reel is joined to the part of the adhesive tape of the other reel (A) which projects with its adhesive layer beyond the beginning of the web and furthermore the auxiliary adhesive strip (6, 7; 6', 7'; 10) upon the joining of the webs adheres to the other reel (A) and not to the adhesive tape (1).
  2. A method according to Claim 1, characterised in that the thickness of adhesive of the auxiliary adhesive strip (6, 7; 6', 7'; 10) on the side facing the reel (A) is substantially thicker than on the side facing the adhesive strip (2).
  3. A method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that an additional adhesive tape (11) is attached to the adhesive tape (2') by means of the auxiliary adhesive strip (6', 7'), the single adhesive layer of which additional tape is arranged on the reel side and the adhesive tape (11) and the auxiliary adhesive strip (6', 7') adhere to the other reel (A) and not to the adhesive tape (2') upon joining the webs.
  4. A method according to Claim 3, characterised in that the additional adhesive tape (11) is formed by folding over a correspondingly wide adhesive tape (2).
