Die DE-PS 29 33 436 zeigt eine Ausweiskarte, bei der nicht nur die benutzerbezogenen Informationen (Kartennumemr, Kontonummer und dergleichen), sonder auch die Unterschrift elektrofotografisch auf ein Sicherheits-Papierinlett aufgebracht wird, welches anschließend beidseitig mit Kunststoffolien laminiert wird. Die DE-PS 29 07 004 beschreibt eine Ausweiskarte, bei der sämtliche benutzerbezogenen Informationen einschließlich der Unterschrift durch eine transparente Deckfolie hindurch in das Papierinlett eingebrannt werden.The known identification cards described above have the common feature that the signature is to be made by hand. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es aber, eine Ausweiskarte zu schafen, die einfach herstellbar ist, auf deren Unterschriftsfeld nach Fertigstellung der Karte die Unterschrift sichtbar und in nachträglich nicht mehr veränderbarer, insbesondere austauschbarer Form geschrieben werden kann. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Ausweiskarte erstreckt sich das ohnehin auf dem Kartenkörper zu Sicherheitszwecken vorhandene Sicherheitsdruckbild bis über das beispielsweise in Siebdrucktechnik aufgebrachte Unterschriftsfeld. Das vorbestimmte Muster des Sicherheitsdruckbildes ist an der Grenze zwischen Unterschriftsfeld und Umgebung des Unterschriftsfeldes kontinuierlich. Ein Ablösen des Materials des Unterschriftsfeldes und ein Ersetzen des abgelösten Feldes durch ein anderes Feld ist praktisch nicht möglich, da das Sicherheitsdruckbild - wenn es den überhaupt nachahmbar sein sollte - mit Sicherheit nicht kontinuierlich an das Druckbild im Umgebungsbereich des Unterschriftsfeldes angepaßt werden kann. Auch die farbliche Abstimmung des Sicherheitsdruckbildes auf Unterschriftsfeld und Umgebung läßt eine Fälschung nicht zu. B. im Siebdruck hergestellt wird und anschließend der Sicherheitsdruck kontinuierlich von der als Kunststoffläche vorliegenden Umgebung aus über das Unterschriftsfeld hinweg aufgebracht wird. Bei beiden Verfahrensschritten handelt es sich um übliche Druckverfahren, die mit relativ geringem Aufwand durchgeführt werden können. Um ein sehr feines Sicherheitsdruckbild insbesondere im Unterschriftsfeld und im Bereich der Grenze zwischen Unterschriftsfeld und Umgebung zu erhalten, kann man zwischen dem Siebdruck- und dem Sicherheitsdruckvorgang eine Zwischenkaschierung durchführen. Eine solche Lackschicht hat etwa die gleiche Höhe wie der Siebdruck des Unterschriftsfeldes (etwa 10 µm). Bei der Lackierung des Kartenkörpers mit Kunstharz kann das Fenster drucktechnisch ausgebildet werden. Kugelschreibertinten oder andere in gängigen Schreibgeräten verwendete Tinten bleibend aufnehmen. Andere Druckverfahren für die Aufbringung von Schichtmaterialien mit der Eigenschaft der nachträglichen Beschriftbarkeit sind z. B. das Tiefdruckverfahren oder der Tampondruck. Die das Unterschriftsfeld bildende Schicht kann auch im Transferverfahren, insbesondere nach dem bekannten Heißprägeverfahren, auf die Kartenoberfläche übertragen werden. Ein als Guilloche-Aufdruck ausgebildetes Sicherheitsdruckbild 3, welches in Fig. 1 nur symbolisch angedeutet ist, überdeckt zumindest einen Teilbereich des Unterschriftsfeldes 2 und zu diesem benachbarte Bereiche der Oberfläche des Kartenkörpers 1. Wie aus Fig. 1 ersichtlich ist, gibt es in dem Muster des Sicherheitsdruckbildes 3 an der Grenze des Unterschriftsfeldes 2 keinerlei Unterbrechungen. Dadurch ist das Unterschriftsfeld praktisch nicht austauschbar oder überdruckbar, ohne daß eine solche Manipulation an einer Unregelmäßigkeit im Sicherheitsdruckbild 3 erkennbar wäre.As can be seen from FIG. 1, a signature field 2 is provided approximately in the middle of a card body 1 designed here as a fully plastic card. Nach dem Aufbringen des Unterschriftsfeldes kann gegebenenfalls die Oberseite der Karte kaschiert werden, um die Oberfläche zu glätten. Dann wird z. B. nach dem gleichen Druckverfahren oder in für Feinliniendruck geeigneten anderen Druckverfahren das Sicherheitsdruckbild 3 aufgebracht. Nach einem nochmaligen Kaschierschritt wird als transparente glatte Abdeckung eine durchsichtige Kunststoffolie 4 aufgebracht. In dieser Deckfolie 4 ist ein Fenster 5 ausgestanzt, so daß das Unterschriftsfeld 2 für das nachträgliche Einschreiben der Unterschrift des Kartenbenutzers frei bleibt.As can be seen from FIG. 2, the card body is formed from a thick plastic layer, to which the signature field 2 is applied in a suitable printing process. Als Deckfolie 4 sind dabei möglichst dünne Folien zu wählen, so daß das Unterschriftsfeld nicht durch das dabei erweichende Deckfolienmaterial abgedeckt wird. An identity card having a plastic card inlay bearing information relating to the user of the card and having at least on one side a security print (3) and a signature field (2) in the form of a printed layer of absorbable inks whose surface is thus designed to take up the user's personal signature on the finished identity card, the security print (3) covering at least part of the signature field (2), characterized in that the security print (3) extends continuously from the signature field into the surrounding areas of the card, the security print (3) being covered by a transparent protective layer so that the security print continues from the freely accessible surface of the signature field below the transparent protective layer.
  2. The identity card of claim 1, characterized in that the signature field (2) and the protective layer (4) form an uninterrupted smooth card surface.

A method of producing an identity card having a plastic card inlay bearing at least on one side information relating to the user of the card and having at least on one side a security print and a signature field in the form of a printed layer of absorbable inks whose surface is thus designed to take up the user's personal signature on the finished identity card, characterized in that it has the following method steps:
       applying the signature field,
       applying the security print so as to overlap the signature field at least in part, whereby the security print extends continuously from the signature field into the surroundings existing as a plastic surface,
