Claims (9)

1. Secondary latch (3) for a door locking device having a main latch (2) and one or more secondary latches for burglary prevention doors (1), the main latch (2) being connected to the or each secondary latch (3) by means of an actuating linkage (16), and a locking mechanism (20) is provided which cooperates, in the closed position, with a locking member (21) movable, between a locking position and a opening position, in the path of a latching mechanism which is movable between a locking position and a release position, characterised in that the latching mechanism includes a bolt member, and the locking mechanism (20) is remotely controllable, and comprises an electromagnet (22) having a movably guided armature (23) and being mounted on the housing (6,7) of the secondary lock (3).
2. Secondary latch according to claim 1, characterised in that the electromagnet (22) comprises a moving coil magnet (22).
3. Secondary latch according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the armature (23) of the electromagnet (22) directly forms the locking member (21).
4. Secondary latch as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the locking member (21) is springloaded (25) into its closed position.
5. Secondary latch according to one of claims 2 to 4, characterised in that a compression spring (25) is arranged on the end of the plunger-type armature (23) opposite its engaging end (21).
6. Secondary latch according to claim 5, characterised in that the compression spring comprises a helical compression spring (25) and is secured to a tapered shaft portion (26) to prevent it being released.
7. Secondary latch according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that, in the closed position, the locking member (21) is arranged so as to engage into the path of movement of an actuating part (8) for the bolt member (9), said actuating part (8) being linearly movable.
8. Secondary latch according to claim 7, characterised in that the bolt member comprises a pivot bolt (9), which can be moved by the linearly movable actuating part (8) via a follower pin (11).
9. Secondary latch according to claim 8, characterised in that the pivot bolt (9) is mounted so as to be rotatable about a pivot spindle (10) secured to the housing, said spindle, which engages in an oblong hole (12) of the actuating part (8) extending in the direction of movement of the actuating part (8), forming part of the guide means for the linear movement of the actuating part (8).
