Eine Ventilvorrichtung 17 kann mit Schrauben so an einem Kraftstoffilter befestigt werden, daß der Raum 14 mit der Filterrohseite verbunden ist. Der vom Motor rückgeführte Kraftstoff wird einem Ringraum 18 zugeführt, von wo er über einen Ringspalt 16 in Abhängigkeit von der Stellung einer Bimetall-Scheibe 11 und damit in Abhängigkeit von der Tem peratur des diese umgebenden Kraftstoffs entweder dem Tan krücklauf 15 oder der Filterrohseite 14 zugeführt wird. Mit einer Drossel 20 oder einem Rückschlagventil in der Leitung zum Tank wird der Systemdruck so eingestellt, daß auch bei saugseitiger Montage des Filters bzw. der Ventilvorrichtung die Funktion gewährleistet ist. Die Bimetall-Scheibe 11 wird durch eine Feder 19 gegen eine Anlage gedrückt, so daß auch während des Schaltvorganges der Bimetall-Scheibe immer eine Anlage des Scheibenrands an der Flanke des Ringspalts 16 erfolgt.
