Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lighting device with at least one electrically controllable light source for the illumination of a larger coherent spatial Area, in particular a work or living area.
Today's usual light generation by means of light bulbs or Discharge lamps leads to an illumination that comes from physio logical and psychological reasons is often not optimal. Light generated by incandescent lamps has a ho hen share of red tones, which is generally pleasant in the evening is felt, but is rather inadequate during the day that will. The means of fluorescent tubes or so-called Light produced by energy-saving lamps does not cover all of it Spectrum, but consists of relatively narrow lines, and is usually felt as uncomfortable or cold. The Color of light that depends on a lighting device is given, can be used in the lighting ver driving electronically changed only to a very small extent become. In particular, a color adjustment takes place through habit Liche dimmer instead, the emission maximum of the tempera turstrahlers in the form of a light bulb is moved. Here the lighting device always goes dark with a shift of the lighting color towards the red hand in hand.
Optimal room lighting should both regulate the Allow intensity, as well as the color, and possible as independent as possible. For example, during the day a color distribution adapted to natural sunlight a color similar in the morning and evening that of incandescent or candlelight, as well as by forth conventional light bulbs is generated. So one of the would be Corresponding color nuances of the lighting of a room possible.
For stepless brightness control in one with a loading Illuminated room are so-called lighting device Known dimmer, with the help of which the brightness of the light source len can be set in a lighting device. The dimmers are often instead of the permanently installed ones Light switch mounted in the wall. The brightness of the ih Connected room lighting equipment is over which regulates the mains voltage by means of the dimmer.
A lighting device is known from US Pat. No. 3,816,739 become, where the color over in intensity and saturation Dimmer is adjustable, each for the three color channels are formed, with three different colored light sources Incandescent lamps are used, the individual colors of which means of a mixing device in the form of a lampshade desired mixed color can be overlaid.
The linearity in the regulation of such systems from several colored light bulbs are limited, so that especially the ultraviolet part of the light is missing, but this is precisely the one to make a pleasant one Lighting that gave way to natural sunlight tig. Incidentally, lighting devices where meh More incandescent lamps find the disadvantage that they have a lot Need space, and generate a relatively large amount of waste heat what severely limits the application.
From US 5,575,459 is in a directional direction light-emitting diode lamp has become known, a se rielle arrangement of a variety of conventional lighting diodes on a circuit board with a voltage re duction of the mains voltage, the arrangement in egg Nem bulb housing with a contact device for a Bulb socket is formed. The amount of light emitted is enough for a green illuminated emergency exit Sign, a lighting of a work area or room can not. It is also not intended and not possible to emit a light perceived as white.
Ferner schlägt die bekannte Vorrichtung eine drahtlose Fernbedienung zur Steuerung der Beleuchtungsvorrichtung vor.DE-OS 39 17 101 A1 is a lighting device preferably with three light sources and one electronic Control device for controlling the brightness of the generated Light became known, while the color of light is continuously adjustable. Here come as a source of light le incandescent lamps with different colors or with different which color filters are used. Furthermore, the well-known Device a wireless remote control for controlling the Lighting device in front.
A color modulation lamp from CN 1059817 is too much Color lighting has become known in the three different colored fluorescent tubes with different controls are provided to produce different colors.
The object of the invention is a lighting device for the illumination of a larger contiguous room in the area where the light far be and light intensity by the lighting device emitted light radiation are freely adjustable, the structural dimensions as small as possible and the generated Ab heat should also be minimized.
This task is solved according to the device characterizing features of claim 1.
According to the invention it is provided that the light source of the Be lighting device by at least one visible light waves-emitting semiconductor component is formed.
The invention proposes to illuminate larger work or space areas to use semiconductor devices that in their dimensions require much less space for Er Generation of the same amount of light as conventional light sources len. The power loss in the form of heat is much lower than that of the corresponding ones Incandescent lamps generate waste heat. Because the active, light waves from transmitting area of a semiconductor is significantly smaller than the Be required to emit an equal amount of light A conventional light source is rich in space the light source according to the invention is many times smaller.
The following is a particularly preferred embodiment example of the invention, the semiconductor device by a LED or a light transistor formed.
According to a further advantageous and therefore preferred Aus design of the invention, the light source has several half conductor components, the semiconductor components each because visible light waves of essentially different Create color. This is otherwise due to wide Li nien dominated spectrum of the individual semiconductor components to a spectrum that is pleasant for the human eye many individual spectral ranges added.
According to a further advantageous aspect, the following Invention the semiconductor devices from their emitted Light color chosen so that the individual light colors too are miscible as white perceived light.
Intensity control is advantageously provided, by means of which the luminous intensity of the light source varies is adjustable and adjustable. Thus, the luminosity of the Light source according to the expediency or the current loading needs to be adjusted.
A color control is also advantageously provided, by means of which the color of the light source radiated light is variable and adjustable. So can the light source is appropriate to the current condition of the person fits, or used to create moods become.
The light intensity of the multiple semiconductor components is according to a further preferred embodiment of the invention individually through the intensity control and / or color control controlled. Which derives from the individual colors of light total light intensity and that from the individual light colors resulting overall color of the light source arrangement can thus be varied. This is an uncomplicated one Color and brightness setting of the lighting pre direction of the light emitted.
A mixing device overlaps according to a further aspect the invention, the light of the individual semiconductor devices spectral. In this way a simultaneous perception of all emitted light colors guaranteed.
An input device is preferably provided, ver by means of which the (mixed) color and luminous intensity of the Light source is freely adjustable, the input device device connected to the intensity and / or color control is.
Another advantageous and therefore preferred embodiment the invention provides that the input device in a spatially by the color and / or intensity control separate remote control is formed, by means of which the color and / or intensity control via control signals can be actuated. This must be used to adjust the brightness or color of the emitted light no longer the lighting device can be operated directly, but a simple one and convenient operation from an easily accessible place is possible. Following this is advantageously an emp catching and transmitting device provided, by means of which the control signals for controlling the lighting device from remote control to color and / or intensity control wireless by means of sound, ultrasound, radio frequency or light waves are sent.
In an equally advantageous variant of the invention is before seen that the control signals via the mains voltage supplier supply lines of the lighting device. This means that there is no need for extra control cables to be the lighting device can be provided more.
A light and / or movement and / or sound sensitive sen In a further advantageous embodiment, sor is the Er Finding provided the sensor signal to control the Color and / or intensity control is used. Here is a control of the fiction, in a simple manner moderate lighting device in the form of a motion detector, a mood light or a light organ possible.
Following a control circuit is advantageously pre see, by means of which the signal of the light-sensitive Sen sors in an automatic adjustment of the light intensity of the Light source is converted to the ambient brightness. Here is optimal lighting for offices, for example or jobs.

In Fig. 1A, an illumination device 1 according to the invention is shown, the light source is by electrically steuerba re semiconductor elements 3 in the form of light emitting diodes ausgebil det. 2 The light-emitting diodes 3 are chosen in each case in their emitted light color so that the individual colors of the light emitted by the fully controlled light-emitting diodes complement each other to form light perceived as white. In the exemplary embodiment, two groups are provided, each with three light-emitting diodes 4 a to 4 c, which emit a light perceived as white as the resulting overall light color. In the example, two groups of light-emitting diodes are shown, but a field made up of considerably more light-emitting diodes is also advantageous, and the restriction to three light-emitting diodes, which together produce white light, is also not necessary. According to the invention, any combination of emitted light waves (and thus light emitting diodes) is conceivable, which generates a light perceived as white. Depending on the size of the area to be illuminated and the type of light-emitting diodes used - the use of so-called "super bright light-emitting diodes" is very advantageous - a field with a large number of light-emitting diode groups or even a single light-diode group as light source 2 can be advantageous.
By means of an intensity control integrated in the lighting device 1 , the brightnesses of the individual light-emitting diodes 4 a to 4 c can be controlled, so that the total light color that is perceived can be freely selected by the intensity of the individual light colors emitted. To control the overall light intensity, a setting element (for example a potentiometer), not shown, is provided here. To select the overall light color, an input device 30 is provided, in which the color can be set continuously in a wide range by means of an operating element 31 . The input device 30 is here in the example shown by a spatially separate from the light source joystick with a control stick 30 a, which, as shown in Fig. 1B by its relative position to the neutral center position, delivers a signal, where by the color choice accordingly in the direction a certain shade is set. The extremal positions R, B, G are defined by the corners of a triangle 30 b, which limits the ingestible positions of the control stick 30 a in the form of a cutout. In these extreme positions of the control stick 30 a, only one of the three primary colors in the example, and thus only one of the LEDs 4 a to 4 c, is controlled.
For better mixing of the individual generated Lichtwel len a spectrally overlapping light waves not shown mixing device can be provided. This can be formed, for example, by a screen that encloses or covers the light source 2 .
A possible realization of the structure of the illuminating device and the control of the individual light sources is shown in FIGS. 2A to 2E. Here, the same reference numerals designate the same or equivalent components, so that their explanation is not repeated.
According to a first embodiment according to FIG. 2A, separate power supply lines 43 a to 43 c are provided for the three individual colored light-emitting diodes 4 a to 4 c, the intensity setting being changed by changing the supply voltage on the individual mains power supply lines 43 a to 43 c by means of the dimmers 34 a to 34 c which are formed spatially separate from the light source. The implementation of the changed by the dimmer supply voltage on the supply lines 43 a to 43 c in the corresponding light intensity is done by the separately trained power supplies 5 or the intensity controls 10 a to 10 c formed therein, by means of which the subsequent LEDs 4 a to 4 c can be controlled with a corresponding DC voltage. The color setting of the mixed color is carried out individually by setting the intensity of the individual colors.
It is possible to use a so-called Joy sticks trained input device in which the dimmer (Potentiometer) over the position of the control stick be put.
In a variant of the invention according to FIG. 2B, it is advantageous that a plurality of voltage supply lines to the individual light-emitting diodes 4 a to 4 c of the light source 2 no longer need to be introduced. This simplifies the installation in particular of ceiling lights according to the invention. The settings of the potentiometers 31 a to 31 c of the input device are converted by means of a converting device 35 into control signals which reach the intensity control 10 or the color control 20 via one or more electrical signal lines 52 . The signals of the input device, here a 2-axis joystick with two potentiometers for color selection and a potentiometer coupled with a setting wheel for brightness selection, are provided by the intensity and brightness controls 10 and 20 and those of the intensity and brightness Control 10 and 20 downstream LEDs 4 a to 4 c controls accordingly. The mains voltage supplied via the mains voltage lines 43 is transformed by a power supply unit 5 in accordance with the requirements for the intensity and brightness control 10 and 20 or the light-emitting diodes 4 a to 4 c.
A modification of the exemplary embodiment from FIG. 2B is shown in FIG. 2C. In this case, no electrical signal lines are used to transmit the control signals, but the signals are transmitted via light guides 53 . For this purpose, the signals are implemented by means of optical transmitters 42 and receivers 41 . Here, as with the previous proposal with electrical signal lines, the reduction to a signal line is possible.
Fig. 2D zeigt eine weitere Abwandlung der Erfindung. Fig. 2D shows a further modification of the invention. Here, the input device is embodied in a portable, cordless remote control 50 . The transmission of the control signals from the converting device 35 to the intensity and brightness control 10 and 20 takes place by means of optical sensors 42 or receiver 41 via light waves 51 . This enables simple operation of the lighting device from any place in the room. Annoying getting up to adjust the room lighting is no longer necessary.
The remote control can be kept simple and similar like a wireless level adjustment of a stereo system be designed. The use of a learning ability is also conceivable remote control. To transmit the tax signal le are instead of the optical elements for transmission also ultrasound and radio frequency transmitters or receivers ge is suitable. The transmitter or receiver of the signals are then ent designed speaking.
Another variant is shown in Fig. 2E. Here who carry the control signals through the converting device 35 via the mains power supply lines 43 similar to a baby monitor. In front of the intensity and brightness control 10 and 20 or the power supply unit, a filter device 6 for separating the supply voltage from the control signals can be advantageous in this case. This enables room lighting in which only minimal changes need to be made in an existing installation. So z. B. with room lighting with a fixed dimmer only the replacement of the dimmer and the light source installed in the direction of illuminations necessary.
Furthermore, regardless of the selected transmission path of the control signals according to the embodiments of FIGS. 2A to 2E, as shown in FIG. 2E, an acoustic and / or optical receiving device can be provided, by means of which parameters are sensed from the environment or from the room to be illuminated. Here, a type of clap switch or else a light organ or a mood light, which is controlled in accordance with the recorded tones, can be realized by means of a microphone 32 . By means of an optical receiving device, for example by an optical diode 33 , the function of a motion detector can additionally be realized with simple means. A control circuit can enable the light intensity of the light source to be automatically adapted to the ambient brightness by means of the signal from the light-sensitive sensor.
