Dieser Taktgeber liefert an eine gesonderte Kamera KA, mit der während der Dauer der Austastlücke der Bildaufnahmekamera eine Laufzeitinformation in Form beispielsweise der Ziffernzeile einer digital anzeigenden Uhr aufgenommen wird, alle notwendigen Impulse, die Horizontalimpulse H, das Austastsignal A, das Synchronsignal S und die Vertikalimpulse V. Die Vertikalimpulse werden jedoch über eine beispielsweise aus mehreren Multivibratoren bestehende Verzögerungseinheit VZ um ein halbes Bild verzögert zugeschaltet, um die Laufzeitinformation in der räumlichen Bildmitte der Kamera aufnehmen zu können. Das Signal dieser Kamera gelangt gleichfalls zu dem Überblendverstärker VV, an dessen Ausgang infolgedessen ein Videosignal steht, in dessen Vertikalaustastlücke die Laufzeitinformation enthalten ist. Dieses Signal wird dem Magnetbandaufzeichnungsgerät MAZ zur Aufzeichnung zugeleitet und kann mit dem Monitor EV 1 kontrolliert werden. Am Ausgang 3 des Magnetaufzeichnungsgerätes MAZ erscheint das aufgezeichnete Bild ohne Laufzeitinformation, da das Videosignal am Ausgang des Aufzeichnungsgerätes einen Regenerierverstärker durchläuft und dort neu ausgetastet wird. Mit dem Monitor E V 2 kann infolgedessen nur dieses Bild kontrolliert werden. Es ist aber ein Schalter S1 vorgesehen, der den Monitor an einen Punkt 2 des Wiedergabeverstärkers anzuschließen erlaubt, der vor dem Regenerierverstärker liegt.
