Abstract

The invention relates to a truck trailer according to the preamble of claim 1.

State of the art

For such roll-off containers, trucks with appropriately adapted superstructures and a hydraulic crane are known. This also applies to the so-called city roll-off containers, which have a significantly lower loading height and a correspondingly low loading weight compared to other containers.

If several such containers are to be brought to a destination, the transport truck must therefore drive the same route several times. It is not possible to put a second roll-off container on a trailer because the currently known trailers do not have any safety devices for securing the load of the roll-off container. Accordingly, it is also not known how the city roll-off containers could be unloaded from such a trailer and then loaded onto it again.

The trailers currently for sale can therefore not be used for these purposes for safety reasons.

A truck trailer according to the preamble of claim 1 is from the DE 73 23 951 U1 known.

The DE 73 23 951 U1 describes a trailer for loading large containers, especially for garbage and scrap, from a truck tractor to a trailer and vice versa. The large containers mentioned are, as can be seen from the drawings, roll-off containers. The system described is intended to enable a method for loading such roll-off containers from the towing vehicle onto the trailer and vice versa, with only one hydraulic device being used on the towing vehicle so that any additional hydraulic device is not required.

No detailed information is given here on the securing devices for the roll-off container on the trailer. It is true that stops for locking the container in the longitudinal direction and guides with inclined surfaces with respect to the longitudinal direction as locking with respect to the direction transverse to the direction of travel are spoken of. In addition, there is talk of known locks against the lifting of the container from the vehicle.

Such known locks are known from practice. These are hydraulically operated claws that engage from the loading area of the trailer into corresponding openings on the underside of the container. Such locks prevent the container from being lifted upwards while driving.

The disadvantage of this system is the high technical and financial outlay for such locks.

As a result of these high costs, the system after the DE 73 23 951 U1 , which was published in 1973 and also shown at the international construction machinery fair in Munich, was not implemented for smaller and lighter containers, although there was a great need for it because of the extremely simple loading and unloading.

Problem and solution of the invention

Object of the invention: The above-mentioned disadvantages are to be eliminated.

In the case of the truck trailer, this object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1.

Among other things, the following advantages are achieved according to the invention: Instead of many individual journeys, economical and environmentally conscious transportation is achieved. An increase in loading capacity, fuel savings thanks to lightweight aluminum construction and time savings are further advantages.

It is not possible to push the container onto the trailer from the drawbar side, as the distance between the truck and the trailer through the drawbar would be too great to push the container onto the trailer.
