Abstract

Zur Positionsbestimmung, Wegplanung und Richtungsweisung werden in Outdoor-Sportarten, wie beispielsweise Snowboarden oder Kitesurfen Navigationsgeräte, wie GPS-Uhren oder Smartphones verwendet. Insbesondere das Ablesen von Richtungsweisungen während des dynamischen Sportbetriebs ist bei den genannten Geräten unhandlich bis gefährlich ablenkend. Die neuartige Navigationsanzeige soll dem Sportler eine einfache, stets präsente Informationsdarstellung ohne zusätzlichen motorischen Aufwand bieten. Die Navigationsanzeige ist in das Sportgerät (1) fest integriert und ermöglicht die Anzeige von Kompasskursen und eine stufenweise Anzeige von Entfernungen (2). Zu diesem Zweck können Licht-Segmente in verschiedenen Richtungen eingeschaltet und in Ihrer beleuchteten Länge variiert werden.
