Abstract

The content, coming from the Internet or other sources of information, is stored on a disk drive of a computer. The computer is programmed to compose snapshots of chosen content and generate a film cache of the content by presenting snapshots in sequence on a screen device. A user is provided with application software for the computer in order to customize the cache film by choosing music for playback during the cache film. The rhythm of the cache film is synchronized with the chosen music and can be varied, depending on the type of music chosen by the user. The user can selectively stop and operate the cache cache to actively browse the content corresponding to the snapshots of it. Hyperlinks in snapshots allow access to related content cached. The user can then resume playback of the cache film for passive display of the content put in cache memory. <EMI FILE = "99062301_1" ID = "1" IMF = JPEG>
