Abstract

O usuário pode então reassumir a reprodução do filme de cache para assistência passiva do conteúdo em cache.<B> METHOD TO PROVIDE PASSIVE AND ACTIVE ACCESS TO CACHE CONTENT TO A USER <D> A system (42) as provided to view cached content passively and actively. Content from the Internet (60) or other sources of information is stored on a computer's disk drive (55). The computer is programmed to take snapshots of selected content and to generate a cache movie of the content by sequentially providing snapshots on a display device (47). A user is provided with application software for the computer to customize the cache movie by selecting music for playback during the cache movie. The rhythm of the cache movie is synchronized with the selected song and can be varied, depending on the type of music selected by the user. The user can selectively stop and start (54) the cache movie to actively browse the content corresponding to the snapshots on it. Hyper-links in snapshots allow access to related cached content. The user can then resume playing the cache movie for passive assistance of the cached content.
