Referring to fig. 1b, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for displaying a game map, which includes the following steps: the method comprises the steps of responding to map display operation triggered by a target game, obtaining game breakthrough information of a current game account, determining a to-be-unlocked map area corresponding to a to-be-unlocked level in a game map of the target game, displaying the game map, and displaying an area covering animation corresponding to the to-be-unlocked map area on the to-be-unlocked map area of the game map.
101. And responding to the map display operation triggered by the target game, and acquiring the game breakthrough information of the current game account.
With the rapid development of personal computer technology, the contents of computer games (hereinafter referred to as games) are becoming rich and diversified, the scenes of the games are becoming more and more complex, and the images are becoming more and more vivid. The game map display scheme provided by the application is mainly applied to games requiring a player to explore or unlock a stage, such as role-playing games, fighting games and the like, although the racing games also have corresponding game maps, the maps presented to the player by the racing games are not shielded.
It should be noted that, in the role-playing game, the player plays one or more roles in the game, the game with complete story line, the adventure game controls the game character to play virtual adventure game, the feature of the adventure game is that the story line is usually developed in the form of completing a task or solving some puzzles, and the importance of the puzzles is emphasized in the game process.
According to the game map display method, the terminal device provides a Graphical User Interface of the current game account, wherein the Graphical User Interface (GUI for short) refers to a computer operation User Interface displayed in a Graphical mode. A graphical user interface is a form of interface display for a person to communicate with a computer and allows a user to manipulate on-screen icons or menu options using an input device such as a mouse to select commands, call files, launch programs, or perform other routine tasks. Graphical user interfaces have many advantages over character interfaces that enter text or character commands through a keyboard to accomplish routine tasks. The graphical user interface consists of windows, pull-down menus, dialog boxes and corresponding control mechanisms, and is standardized in various new applications, i.e. the same operations are always performed in the same way, and graphical objects are seen and operated by users in the graphical user interface, and the technology of computer graphics is applied.
Taking role playing games as an example for specific description, when a user plays role playing games, the user can determine the position of the role of the user by clicking a map display control of the role playing games, and in the role playing games, an area in a game map is often associated with a level in the game, for example, in a game map, a level which is not unlocked by the player is often represented in a picture shielding or dark state, but the game map display scheme is single, and the player only can know the level which is not unlocked, so that the application provides a game map display scheme, the game map display scheme is used for displaying the game map by utilizing the unlocking difficulty of the level to be unlocked and the level to be unlocked by the player, that is, in order to realize subsequent map display, when a map display operation triggered by a target game is received, the game breakthrough information of the current game account is obtained, the game breakthrough information includes a to-be-unlocked level corresponding to the current game account, and may also include an unlocked level corresponding to the current game account, where the current game account is a game account of a user who triggers the map display operation, and the map display operation may be triggered by the user clicking a map display control, may also be triggered by the user through a voice control manner, and may also be triggered by a terminal or a server, which is determined specifically according to actual conditions and is not described herein again.
It should be noted that the target game may be a game integrated in the client, or may be a Cloud game (Cloud gaming), which may also be called game on demand (gaming), and is an online game technology based on a Cloud computing technology. Cloud game technology enables light-end devices (thin clients) with relatively limited graphics processing and data computing capabilities to run high-quality games. In a cloud game scene, a game is not operated in a player game terminal but in a cloud server, and the cloud server renders the game scene into a video and audio stream which is transmitted to the player game terminal through a network. The player game terminal does not need to have strong graphic operation and data processing capacity, and only needs to have basic streaming media playing capacity and capacity of acquiring player input instructions and sending the instructions to the cloud server.
102. And determining a map area to be unlocked corresponding to the level to be unlocked in a game map of the target game.
In the game, the flow of the game is divided into a plurality of parts according to the game difficulty or the game scenario, which are called as game stages and game progresses, when a game developer designs the game, in order to improve the playability of the game, different game stages correspond to different game difficulties, and in addition, in certain areas in a game map corresponding to certain game stages, a player can unlock a complete game map by exploring different game stages.
103. And displaying the game map, and displaying the area covering animation corresponding to the area of the map to be unlocked on the area of the map to be unlocked of the game map.
Wherein, in the present application, the animation refers to that the dynamic image is a static image or a graphic sequence which changes gradually continuously, and is changed and displayed in sequence along a time axis, the area covering animation is the animation covering the target area, the dynamic effect of the area covering animation is associated with the unlocking difficulty corresponding to the map area to be unlocked, for example, the area covering animation is a dynamic cloud layer, the unlocking difficulty is divided into a low level, a medium level and a high level, the corresponding cloud thicknesses are thin, moderate, and thick, the corresponding cloud flow rates are slow, moderate, and fast, and, in some embodiments, the dynamic effect of the area covering animation is also associated with an unlocking reward corresponding to the map area to be unlocked, for example, the area covering animation is a dynamic cloud layer, the unlocking difficulty is divided into a low level, a medium level and a high level, the thickness of the cloud layer is associated with the unlocking difficulty, and the thickness of the cloud layer is thin, medium and thicker; the unlocking reward is divided into common, rare and top grades, the cloud layer flow rate is related to the unlocking reward, and the cloud layer flow rate is slow, moderate and fast; of course, the thickness of the cloud layer may also be associated with the unlocking reward, and the cloud layer flow rate may also be associated with the unlocking difficulty, which may be specifically set according to the actual situation.
In addition, in order to facilitate distinguishing different areas to be unlocked, in the present application, a boundary between areas may be determined by using area division of a game map, and then an area covering animation corresponding to the area of the map to be unlocked is displayed on the area of the map to be unlocked of the game map, that is, optionally, in some embodiments, the step "displaying the area covering animation corresponding to the area of the map to be unlocked on the area of the map to be unlocked" may specifically include:
(11) acquiring area division information of a game map and unlocking difficulty corresponding to a map area to be unlocked;
(12) determining boundaries between areas corresponding to each level in a game map based on the area division information;
(13) and displaying the area covering animation corresponding to the map area to be unlocked on the map area to be unlocked of the game map according to the unlocking difficulty and the determined boundary.
The area division information carries information for dividing the game map area, different area boundaries in the game map, namely boundaries between areas corresponding to the levels, can be determined based on the area division information, and then area covering animations corresponding to the map area to be unlocked are displayed on the map area to be unlocked of the game map based on the unlocking difficulty and the determined boundaries.
It should be noted that, according to the present application, the unlocking difficulty of different level cards may be quantified through a difficulty level, for example, the unlocking difficulty corresponding to level 1 is easy, and the unlocking difficulty corresponding to level 5 is difficult, that is, a corresponding area covering animation may be displayed in the map area to be unlocked at the position of the game map according to the difficulty level, that is, optionally, in some embodiments, the step "displaying the area covering animation corresponding to the map area to be unlocked on the map area to be unlocked of the game map according to the unlocking difficulty and the determined boundary" may specifically include:
(21) according to the unlocking difficulty, acquiring a difficulty level corresponding to a map area to be unlocked;
(22) determining the position of a map area to be unlocked in the game map based on the determined boundary;
(23) and displaying the corresponding area covering animation on the position of the game map in the map area to be unlocked according to the difficulty level.
For example, specifically, the position of a map area a to be unlocked on a game map is determined based on a determined boundary, the position of a map area B to be unlocked on the game map is determined, the difficulty level corresponding to the map area a to be unlocked is obtained as 5, the difficulty level corresponding to the map area B to be unlocked is obtained as 2, and then, based on the difficulty level, a corresponding area covering animation is displayed on the position of the map area to be unlocked on the game map, that is, the area covering animation corresponding to the map area a to be unlocked is different from the area covering animation corresponding to the map area B to be unlocked, for example, the area covering animation is fog, and the fog thickness corresponding to the map area a to be unlocked is greater than the fog thickness corresponding to the map area B to be unlocked.
It can be understood that the area covering animation is an overlapping effect of a plurality of static images, and different area covering animations can be set according to different difficulty levels, that is, area covering data corresponding to the difficulty levels can be obtained, and then, a game map is displayed based on the area covering data, that is, optionally, in some embodiments, the step "displaying the corresponding area covering animation on the position of the game map in the map area to be unlocked according to the difficulty levels" specifically may include:
(31) acquiring area covering data corresponding to the difficulty level;
(32) and rendering and displaying the map area to be unlocked at the position of the game map based on the arrangement sequence among the multiple color layers.
The region covering data includes color layers arranged in multiple layers, for example, the region covering data corresponding to a difficulty level of 5 includes color layers arranged in 5 layers, where the color channels corresponding to each color layer have different numerical values, and in order to facilitate understanding of the concept of the channel, we use an RGB mode image as an example to simply introduce a color channel principle. The basic unit of composition of an image is developed on an RGB basis, for which it is understood that an image is composed of three elements RGB, R being a red channel denoted 1; g is a green channel, denoted 2; b is a blue channel, denoted 3; there is a white image of 4, which is formed by mixing the channel colors at 1, 2, and 3, and the three color channels of red, green, and blue are each divided into 256 levels of brightness, the "light" is weakest at 0-off, and the "light" is brightest at 255. When the three-color gray values are the same, gray tones with different gray values are generated, namely, the darkest black tone is generated when the three-color gray values are all 0; when the three-color gray scale is 255, the brightest white tone is achieved, so that the RGB values corresponding to each color layer are set to be different numerical values, the areas to be unlocked with different unlocking difficulties can be distinguished more easily when the game map is displayed, and the diversity of information displayed by the game map is improved.
Furthermore, the region coverage data may be preset, that is, optionally, in some embodiments, may further include:
(41) setting color data of the color layers and an arrangement sequence among the multiple color layers;
(42) and constructing area covering data corresponding to the difficulty level based on the set arrangement sequence and the color data of the color layer.
The arrangement sequence among the multiple color layers and the color data of each color layer can be set according to actual requirements, and are not repeated here.
In this application, after displaying the area covering animation corresponding to the map area to be unlocked, a map area preview control may be displayed in the game map, for example, please refer to fig. 1c, a map area preview control a may be displayed in the game map, where each area to be unlocked corresponds to one map area preview control a, and a player may click the map area preview control to preview a level of a barrier reward star corresponding to the area to be unlocked, that is, optionally, in some embodiments, the game map display method may further include:
(51) displaying a map area preview control in the game map;
(52) and responding to the triggering operation aiming at the map area preview control, and displaying the level of the level reward star corresponding to the area to be unlocked.
The level of the level reward star indicates the richness of the unlocking reward of the level to be unlocked, for example, the level reward star corresponds to the quantity range of the resource of the unlocking reward, which can be shown in table 1:
unlocking the number range of awarded resources Y Barrier reward star rating
0≤Y<30 1
30≤Y<50 2
50≤Y<70 3
70≤Y<80 4
80≤Y<90 5
90≤Y<100 6
TABLE 1
In some embodiments, the map area preview control may be associated with virtual gold or virtual currency, i.e., the player needs to pay a certain amount of virtual gold or virtual currency in order to use the preview functionality of the map area preview control.
Optionally, in some embodiments, after the preset time interval that the display area covers the animation is reached, the corresponding map scenario animation may be played according to the map area to be unlocked selected by the user, or the corresponding map scenario animation may be played according to a preset sequence, that is, optionally, in some embodiments, the game map display method may further include: and playing the map plot animation associated with the selected map area to be unlocked in response to the selection operation of the map area to be unlocked.
For example, specifically, after 10s of the area coverage animation is displayed, the player may click an area corresponding to the area coverage animation, so as to trigger a selection operation for the area of the map to be unlocked, and then play a map scenario animation associated with the area of the map to be unlocked selected by the player, thereby improving interactivity between the game map and the player, and facilitating the player to know a game story, a game character, game difficulty, and the like of the area to be unlocked; or after the display area covers 10s of the animation, the system triggers a selection operation for the map area to be unlocked, which can be specifically set according to the actual situation, and is not described herein again.
It should be noted that, for the unlocked level, some unlocked levels may be just unlocked by the player, and the corresponding area of the unlocked level has not been shown in the game map, so in some embodiments, the number of times of showing the unlocked map area corresponding to the unlocked level may be detected, and when the number of times of showing is detected to be smaller than a preset value, the unlocked map area smaller than the preset value is determined as the target map area, that is, the game map showing method may further include:
(61) obtaining an unlocked level corresponding to the current game account from the game breakthrough information;
(62) detecting the display times of an unlocking map area corresponding to the unlocked level;
(63) and when the display times are detected to be smaller than the preset value, determining the unlocking map area smaller than the preset value as a target map area.
Displaying an area covering animation corresponding to the target map area on the target map area of the game map, and hiding the area covering animation corresponding to the target map area, for example, the preset value is 1, when it is detected that the display frequency of the unlocking map area S corresponding to the unlocked level is less than 1, that is, the unlocking map area S is not displayed in the game map, therefore, when the user opens the game map again, the unlocking process of the unlocking map area S can be displayed to the user, please refer to fig. 1d, in the left diagram of fig. 1d, a picture corresponding to the unlocking map area S when the user opens the game map again is displayed, at this time, the unlocking map area S is covered by the area covering animation, and then, the area covering animation corresponding to the unlocking map area S when hidden is displayed, as shown in the right diagram of fig. 1d, for example, a mode of fading the area covering animation is adopted, and prompting the user that the unlocking map area S is the map area corresponding to the level newly unlocked by the user.
In addition, in some embodiments, for the level unlocked by the user after displaying the game map, the game map display can be performed in the manner described above, and the corresponding area covering animations can be sequentially hidden according to different passing times and according to a time sequence; if all map areas in the game map are unlocked by the player, all map areas in the game map can be highlighted.
It should be further noted that, in some embodiments, a mapping relationship between the unlocking difficulty and the area coverage animation may be pre-constructed, so as to facilitate obtaining the corresponding area coverage animation subsequently based on the unlocking difficulty of each level, thereby improving the display efficiency of the game map, that is, optionally, in some embodiments, the game map display method may further include: and acquiring the unlocking difficulty of each level in the target game, and establishing a mapping relation between the unlocking difficulty and the preset area covering animation.
The method and the device for displaying the map of the target game have the advantages that the map displaying operation triggered by the target game is responded, the game breakthrough information of the current game account is acquired, then the map area to be unlocked corresponding to the level to be unlocked is determined in the game map of the target game, finally, the game map is displayed, and the area covering animation corresponding to the map area to be unlocked is displayed on the map area to be unlocked of the game map. According to the game map display scheme, the dynamic effect of the area covering animation is associated with the unlocking difficulty corresponding to the area of the map to be unlocked, so that a player can know the unlocking difficulty of the area to be unlocked through the dynamic effect of the area covering animation when viewing the map, and the display richness of the game map is improved.
The method according to the examples is further described in detail below by way of example.
In this embodiment, the game map display device is specifically integrated in a terminal as an example. Referring to fig. 2a, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for displaying a game map, which includes:
201. and the terminal responds to the map display operation triggered by the target game to acquire the game breakthrough information of the current game account.
The method comprises the steps that when a terminal receives a map display operation triggered by a target game, game break-over information of a current game account is obtained, wherein the game break-over information comprises a to-be-unlocked level corresponding to the current game account and can also comprise an unlocked level corresponding to the current game account, the current game account is a game account of a user corresponding to the map display operation triggered by the user clicking a map display control, the map display operation can also be triggered by the user in a voice control mode, the map display operation can also be triggered by the terminal or a server and is determined according to actual conditions, and repeated description is omitted here.
202. And the terminal determines a map area to be unlocked corresponding to the level to be unlocked in a game map of the target game.
In the application, the area of the level unlocked by the player corresponding to the game map is the unlocked game map area, and the area of the level unlocked by the player corresponding to the game map is the area of the game map to be unlocked.
203. And the terminal displays the game map and displays the area covering animation corresponding to the area of the map to be unlocked on the area of the map to be unlocked of the game map.
The terminal can display a game map through a display screen of the terminal, and display a region covering animation corresponding to a to-be-unlocked map region on the to-be-unlocked map region of the game map, wherein the terminal can determine boundaries between the regions by using the region division of the game map, and further display the region covering animation corresponding to the to-be-unlocked map region on the to-be-unlocked map region of the game map, for example, specifically, the terminal determines the position of the to-be-unlocked map region A on the game map based on the determined boundaries and determines the position of the to-be-unlocked map region B on the game map, acquires that the difficulty level corresponding to the to-be-unlocked map region A is 5 levels, the difficulty level corresponding to the to-be-unlocked map region B is 2 levels, and then the terminal displays the corresponding region covering animation on the position of the game map based on the difficulty level.
In order to further understand the game map display method of the present application, the following further describes the applied game map display method, and first, channel cloud layer maps (i.e., regional coverage animations) are produced, where three channels of red, green, and blue are placed with different cloud layer maps, in order to simulate reality and enrich details of cloud layers, as shown in fig. 2 b. Then, a dynamic fog-masking material shader is manufactured, a mapping can be placed in an opening parameter, the opening parameter can adjust the color and transparency of a red-green-blue three-channel cloud layer, the opening parameter can adjust the flow speed and flow direction of a red-green-blue three-channel cloud layer, as shown in fig. 2c, a mask mapping can be placed in the opening parameter to adjust the masking degree, the masking degree is adjusted to weaken edges and solve the problem that the edges of the cloud layer are hard, and finally, a corresponding difficulty level template is made in a dynamic editor according to a classification table of difficulty levels of game level cards.
In the game running stage, a user can see that the cloud layer flow velocity and the thickness of the un-unlocked area of the map are different when the game map is opened. When the game runs, the terminal can obtain the grading table of each level difficulty grade in the game map and then call the configured cloud layer parameter template with the corresponding difficulty grade, so that cloud layer images with different thicknesses and different flow rates can be generated.
Referring to fig. 2d, the density of the wave line indicates the flow velocity of the cloud layer, the higher the density is, the faster the flow velocity of the cloud layer is, and the lower the density is, the slower the flow velocity of the cloud layer is, and it can be seen from the figure that the reward obtained from the region corresponding to the thick cloud layer q with the faster cloud layer flow velocity is richer than the reward obtained from the region corresponding to the thick cloud layer w with the moderate cloud layer flow velocity, and so on.
The terminal responds to map display operation triggered by a target game, obtains game breakthrough information of a current game account, then determines a to-be-unlocked map area corresponding to a to-be-unlocked level in a game map of the target game, finally displays the game map, and displays an area covering animation corresponding to the to-be-unlocked map area on the to-be-unlocked map area of the game map.
