The program information is information of a program. The information of a program is, for example, demographic attribute information of a viewer who is a target such as the age, sex, living area, and address of the target program, or information of the program itself which is broadcast or distributed such as a keyword, genre, broadcast area, and the like, which indicate the content of the program.
The built-in CM information is information of a CM inserted in the middle of a program. The CM-embedded information is information of the addressable advertisement itself such as a sponsor name, a category, a trade name, or the like representing the content of the addressable advertisement, or demographic attribute information of a viewer who is the object such as age, sex, region, or address of the object of the addressable advertisement.
The excluded CM information is information of an addressable advertisement that is desired to be excluded as a replacement candidate when the CM inserted in the middle of the program is replaced with the addressable advertisement. The excluded CM information is information of the addressable advertisement itself such as a sponsor name, a category, a trade name, or the like representing the content of the addressable advertisement, or demographic attribute information of a viewer who is the object such as age, sex, region, or address of the object of the addressable advertisement.
In addition, the broadcast signal device 140 receives CM attribute information, excluded program attribute information, and excluded CM attribute information as attribute information of the addressable advertisement. The above-described addressable advertisement attribute information is distributed from the CM distribution server 120 and stored in a storage area (not shown) of the control means 342 of the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140.
CM attribute information is information of an addressable advertisement. The information of the addressable advertisement is, for example, information of the addressable advertisement itself such as a sponsor name, a category, a trade name, or a keyword indicating the content of the addressable advertisement, or demographic attribute information of a viewer who is the object such as age, sex, region, or address of the object of the addressable advertisement.
The excluded program attribute information is information of a program which is not desired to be replaced with an addressable advertisement in the case where a CM inserted halfway into the program is replaced with an addressable advertisement. The information of the program which is not desired to be replaced with the addressable advertisement is, for example, demographic attribute information of the viewer who is the target such as age, sex, residence area, address, etc. of the target program, or information of the program itself which is broadcast or distributed such as a keyword, genre, broadcast area, etc. indicating the content of the program.
The excluded CM attribute information is information of an addressable advertisement that is desired to be excluded as a replacement candidate when the CM inserted in the middle of the program is replaced with the addressable advertisement. The information of the addressable advertisement to be excluded is information of the addressable advertisement itself such as a sponsor name, a category, a trade name, or the like of the addressable advertisement representing the content of the addressable advertisement, or demographic attribute information of a viewer who is the object such as age, sex, region, or address of the object of the addressable advertisement.
In accordance with an instruction from the exclusionary CM determination unit 404, the broadcast program attribute acquisition unit 401 acquires program attribute information from a storage area (not shown) and transmits the program attribute information to the exclusionary CM determination unit 404. Then, in accordance with the instruction from the exclusionary CM determination unit 404, the user preference CM acquisition unit 403 acquires the addressable advertisement attribute information from the storage area (not shown) and transmits the addressable advertisement attribute information to the exclusionary CM determination unit 404.
The exclusionary CM determination unit 404 uses the program information, the built-in CM information, the exclusionary CM information, and the CM attribute information, the exclusionary program attribute information, and the exclusionary CM attribute information included in the attribute information of the addressable advertisement, to determine as follows: whether or not the addressable advertisement having the attribute acquired by the user preference CM acquisition section 403 is suitable for replacement display in place of the CM included in the broadcast program having the attribute acquired by the broadcast program attribute acquisition section 401.
When the result of the determination is that the CM included in the broadcast program is suitable for replacement display, the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 acquires the addressable advertisement to be determined from the recording medium 160, and displays the addressable advertisement on the display unit 350 in place of the CM included in the program to be determined.
If the result of the determination is that the CM included in the broadcast program is not suitable for replacement display, the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 does not replace the addressable advertisement to be determined with the CM included in the program to be determined. In this case, the CM included in the program to be determined is displayed on the display means 350 as it is.
Fig. 4C is a diagram showing an example of a processing flow of the exclusionary CM determination device 330 according to the embodiment of the present invention.
The exclusionary CM determination device 330 may perform the exclusionary CM determination process at any timing, but desirably before the program to be determined is broadcast.
When the exclusionary CM determination process is started (S450), the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 acquires the program attribute information via the broadcast program attribute acquisition unit 401, and acquires the attribute information of 1 addressable advertisement recorded in the user preference CM list via the user preference CM acquisition unit 403 (S451).
The exclusionary CM determination unit 404 performs exclusionary determination using the program information, the embedded CM information, the exclusionary CM information, and the CM attribute information, the exclusionary program attribute information, and the exclusionary CM attribute information included in the acquired addressable advertisement attribute information.
First, it is determined whether or not the excluded program attribute information is included in the program information (S452).
If the determination result is that the advertisement is included (yes in S452), the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 excludes the addressable advertisement to be determined from the candidates for replacement (S453), and ends the process (S470).
If the result of the determination is not included (no in S452), the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 determines whether or not the exclusionary CM attribute information is included in the built-in CM information.
If the determination result is that it is included (yes in S454), the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 excludes the addressable advertisement to be determined from the candidates for replacement (S453), and ends the process (S470).
If the result of the determination is not included (no in S454), the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 determines whether or not exclusionary CM information is included in the CM attribute information.
If the determination result is that it is included (yes in S455), the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 excludes the addressable advertisement to be determined from the candidates for replacement (S453), and ends the process (S470).
If the result of the determination is not included (no in S454), the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 directly ends the processing (S470).
When the determination of the target addressable advertisement is completed, the exclusionary CM determining unit 404 acquires the attribute information of the next addressable advertisement described in the user preference CM list via the user preference CM acquiring unit 403, and performs the processing of S451 to S470. Thereafter, the exclusionary CM determination unit 404 performs a determination process on all the addressable advertisements described in the user preference CM list.
Thus, the exclusionary CM determination device 330 can determine whether the addressable advertisement to be determined is a replacement candidate or is excluded from the replacement candidates.
The example of the processing of fig. 4C is an example in which program attribute information and addressable advertisement attribute information are determined by any one of the determination processing of S452, S454, S455, but a plurality of pieces of information may be used in the determination.
For example, the exclusivity Ei (i=1 to n, n is the number of pieces of the whole attribute information) is set for the program information, the built-in CM information, the exclusivity CM information, and the CM attribute information of the addressable advertisement attribute information, the exclusivity program attribute information, and the exclusivity CM attribute information, respectively, and when the determination value calculated using the set exclusivity and the predetermined inclusion degree exceeds the predetermined threshold value, the addressable advertisement to be determined may be excluded from the candidates for replacement.
Fig. 5 is a diagram showing an example of the processing flow of the exclusionary CM determination device 330 according to the embodiment of the present invention when the exclusionary degree and the inclusion degree are used.
The exclusionary CM determination unit 404 performs a determination process of determining whether or not to exclude the corresponding addressable advertisement from the replaced candidates using the attribute information of the program acquired from the broadcast program attribute acquisition unit 401 (S501) and the attribute information of the addressable advertisement acquired from the user preference CM acquisition unit 403 (S502) (S503).
The judgment processing calculates, as judgment values, averages of program information, built-in CM information, exclusionary CM information, and CM attribute information of addressable advertisement attribute information, exclusionary program attribute information, and exclusionary CM attribute information of program attribute information, respectively, by multiplying the exclusionary degree Ei by the content M, and compares the calculated averages with a threshold (S504).
If the comparison result is smaller than the threshold value (yes in S503), the addressable advertisement to be determined is excluded from the candidates for replacement (S504), and the process is terminated (S520).
If the comparison result is equal to or greater than the threshold value (no in S503), the process is directly terminated for the target addressable advertisement (S520).
As described above, the exclusionary CM determination device 330 according to the embodiment of the present invention can determine whether or not to exclude the corresponding addressable advertisement from the replacement candidates, using the program attribute information of the broadcast program and the addressable advertisement attribute information as candidates for replacing the inserted CM of the broadcast program.
Thus, the exclusionary CM determination device 330 of embodiments of the present invention is able to select and display an advertisement that is suitable not only for the preference of the user but also for the content of the program that is replaced with the advertisement or that contains the advertisement. Therefore, the broadcast signal receiving apparatus including the exclusionary CM determination apparatus 330 of the embodiment of the present invention can display an addressable advertisement more suitable for a user than ever before.
Although examples of the exclusionary CM determination device 330 and the addressable advertisement system including the exclusionary CM determination device 330 according to the embodiments of the present invention are described using the drawings, the present invention is not limited to the above examples.
In the configuration example of the addressable advertisement system shown in fig. 1, the broadcast station (broadcast signal transmitting apparatus) 100 has been described as an example in which a broadcast wave multiplexed in the mmt·tlv system is transmitted, and the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 receives a broadcast wave multiplexed in the mmt·tlv system, but the broadcast wave may be a broadcast wave multiplexed in the MPEG-2 system. Or also in the configuration example of the addressable advertising system shown in fig. 1, the broadcasting station (broadcast signal transmitting apparatus) 100 may distribute the program content to the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 via the network 130.
The exclusionary CM determination device 330 according to the embodiment of the present invention may process a program recorded in the broadcast signal reception device 140.
In the configuration example of the addressable advertisement system shown in fig. 1, only 1 broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 is included, but a plurality of apparatuses may be included. In this case, the management server 121 can identify and manage the plurality of broadcast signal receiving apparatuses 140 using the device IDs included in the respective broadcast signal receiving apparatuses 140.
The exclusionary CM determination device 330 according to the embodiment of the present invention is described as being included in the broadcast signal reception device 140, but may be another device that can communicate with the broadcast signal reception device 140 and can identify each broadcast signal reception device 140 by its device ID. The other device may be, for example, the management server 121.
In the case where the exclusionary CM determination device 330 is among other devices, the user preference CM acquisition unit 403 of the exclusionary CM determination device 330 among other devices may acquire the addressable advertisement attribute information via the network 130. The exclusionary CM determination unit 404 may transmit the determination result to the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 via the network 130.

Claims (12)

1. A broadcast signal receiving apparatus that receives a program transmitted through a broadcast signal and is connected to one or more servers via a network, wherein the broadcast signal receiving apparatus comprises:
a program attribute acquisition section that acquires first attribute information of the program and a first advertisement inserted in a play period of the program, the first attribute information including attribute information of the program;
a replacement advertisement acquisition unit that acquires and stores, from the one or more servers, a second advertisement that is a candidate for display in place of the first advertisement, and acquires second attribute information of the stored second advertisement; a kind of electronic device with high-pressure air-conditioning system
A determination unit configured to determine whether or not the excluded program attribute information is included in the program information, based on the program information included in the attribute information of the program, the built-in CM information, the excluded CM information, and the CM attribute information included in the second attribute information, the excluded program attribute information, and the excluded CM attribute information, if so, to exclude the second advertisement from the candidates, and then to end the processing, and if not, to determine whether or not the excluded CM attribute information is included in the built-in CM information;
if the exclusionary CM attribute information is included in the built-in CM information, the second advertisement is excluded from the candidates and the processing is ended; if the exclusionary CM attribute information is not included in the built-in CM information, judging whether the exclusionary CM information is included in the CM attribute information;
If the excluded CM information is included in the CM attribute information, the second advertisement is excluded from the candidates and the process is ended; if the excluded CM information is not included in the CM attribute information, the processing is directly ended.
2. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus of claim 1, wherein,
the first attribute information includes at least one of a demographic attribute including at least one of an age, a sex, a living area, and an address of a viewer who is a subject of the program, a keyword, a genre, and a broadcasting area, which represent the content of the program.
3. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus of claim 1, wherein,
the second attribute information includes at least one of a demographic attribute including at least one of an age, a sex, a living area, and an address of a viewer who is a subject of the second advertisement, a sponsor name, a category, and a trade name of the second advertisement.
4. A broadcast signal receiving method in a broadcast signal receiving apparatus which receives a program transmitted by a broadcast signal and is connected to one or more servers via a network, wherein,
Acquiring first attribute information of the program and a first advertisement inserted in a broadcast period of the program, the first attribute information including attribute information of the program,
obtaining and saving a second advertisement as a candidate to be displayed in place of the first advertisement from the one or more servers, and obtaining second attribute information of the saved second advertisement,
judging whether the excluded program attribute information is contained in the program information according to the program information, the built-in CM information and the CM attribute information, the excluded program attribute information and the excluded CM attribute information contained in the attribute information of the program, if so, removing the second advertisement from the candidates, and ending the processing, if not, judging whether the excluded CM attribute information is contained in the built-in CM information;
if the exclusionary CM attribute information is included in the built-in CM information, the second advertisement is excluded from the candidates and the processing is ended; if the exclusionary CM attribute information is not included in the built-in CM information, judging whether the exclusionary CM information is included in the CM attribute information;
if the excluded CM information is included in the CM attribute information, the second advertisement is excluded from the candidates and the process is ended; if the excluded CM information is not included in the CM attribute information, the processing is directly ended.
5. A broadcast signal transmitting/receiving system comprising a broadcast signal transmitting device for transmitting a program by a broadcast signal and a broadcast signal receiving device for receiving the program transmitted by the broadcast signal and connected to one or more servers via a network,
the broadcast signal transmitting apparatus includes a transmitting means for transmitting the broadcast signal including the video stream and the audio stream,
the broadcast signal receiving apparatus includes:
a program attribute acquisition section that acquires first attribute information of the program and a first advertisement inserted in a play period of the program, the first attribute information including attribute information of the program;
a replacement advertisement acquisition unit that acquires and stores, from the one or more servers, a second advertisement that is a candidate for display in place of the first advertisement, and acquires second attribute information of the stored second advertisement; a kind of electronic device with high-pressure air-conditioning system
A determination unit configured to determine whether or not the excluded program attribute information is included in the program information, based on the program information included in the attribute information of the program, the built-in CM information, the excluded CM information, and the CM attribute information included in the second attribute information, the excluded program attribute information, and the excluded CM attribute information, if so, to exclude the second advertisement from the candidates, and then to end the processing, and if not, to determine whether or not the excluded CM attribute information is included in the built-in CM information;
If the exclusionary CM attribute information is included in the built-in CM information, the second advertisement is excluded from the candidates and the processing is ended; if the exclusionary CM attribute information is not included in the built-in CM information, judging whether the exclusionary CM information is included in the CM attribute information;
if the excluded CM information is included in the CM attribute information, the second advertisement is excluded from the candidates and the process is ended; if the excluded CM information is not included in the CM attribute information, the processing is directly ended.
6. The broadcast signal transceiving system according to claim 5, wherein,
the first attribute information includes at least one of a demographic attribute including at least one of an age, a sex, a living area, and an address of a viewer who is a subject of the program, a keyword, a genre, and a broadcasting area, which represent the content of the program.
7. The broadcast signal transceiving system according to claim 5, wherein,
the second attribute information includes at least one of a demographic attribute including at least one of an age, a sex, a living area, and an address of a viewer who is a subject of the second advertisement, a sponsor name, a category, and a trade name of the second advertisement.

A broadcast signal transmitting/receiving method in a broadcast signal transmitting/receiving system including a broadcast signal transmitting device for transmitting a program by a broadcast signal and a broadcast signal receiving device for receiving the program transmitted by the broadcast signal and connected to one or more servers via a network,
the broadcast signal transmitting device transmits the broadcast signal including the video stream and the audio stream,
the broadcast signal receiving apparatus performs the following processing:
acquiring first attribute information of the program and a first advertisement inserted in a broadcasting period of the program, the first attribute information including attribute information of the program;
acquiring and saving a second advertisement as a candidate to be displayed in place of the first advertisement from the one or more servers, and acquiring second attribute information of the saved second advertisement;
