Abstract
The invention relates to a method and a device for synchronous display of double-screen different displays, which are applied to scenes needing double-screen synchronous display of an SOC display interface, wherein the displayed contents can be the same or different, and the method comprises the following steps: identifying the video data stored in the first cache space and the second cache space, and issuing an abnormal display synchronous display instruction if the video data are different; merging images in the video data corresponding to the first cache space and the second cache space into a complete image and generating a display control time sequence of the complete image; and outputting the complete image to a corresponding display interface by using a single video display channel. The invention has the beneficial effects that: the invention has the beneficial effects that: only one video display channel is needed, so that the area of a chip DIE is saved, and the cost is saved; the real-time performance and the synchronism of the video data are ensured; the dual screen may display image content that is not possible.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of SOC chip design, in particular to a method and a device for synchronous display of double-screen different displays.
Background
With the increasingly complex application scenes of the SOC, different contents need to be synchronously displayed on two screens many times, for example, images respectively transmitted by two cameras are displayed on the two screens in real time.
However, in the current technical scheme, two different images are transmitted through two independent video display paths, and the current scheme has certain influence on real-time performance and synchronism.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to solve at least one of the technical problems in the prior art, and provides a method and an apparatus for dual-screen simultaneous display, which saves the DIE area of the chip and ensures the real-time performance and the synchronization performance.
The technical scheme of the invention comprises a method for synchronously displaying double different display screens, which is characterized in that: s100, identifying the video data stored in the first cache space and the second cache space, and issuing an abnormal display synchronous display instruction if the video data are different; s200, merging the images in the video data corresponding to the first cache space and the second cache space into a complete image and generating a display control time sequence of the complete image; and S300, outputting the complete image to a corresponding display interface by using a single video display channel.

The SOC chip 200 includes a display controller 201, a timing controller 202, a single display path 203, a first interface controller 204 and a second interface controller 205, wherein the display controller merges the pictures sent by the first buffer space 101 and the second buffer space 102, where the merging mode is left-right merging to obtain a complete picture, the timing controller 202 transmits the left half row data and the right half row data of the picture and the control signal to the first interface controller 204 and the second interface controller 205 through the single display path 203, respectively, where the first interface controller 204 and the second interface controller 205 are the same interface controller, and the first interface controller 204 and the second interface controller 205 send the received picture data to the corresponding first display device 301 and the second display device 302 for display.
Fig. 2 is a flow chart of a dual-screen display synchronous display according to an embodiment of the invention. In the DDR, two different buffer spaces exist for storing two image data to be displayed, respectively. The display controller takes the image data from the two buffer spaces and combines the two images into a complete image. And transmitting the combined image data to a timing controller to generate a display control timing sequence. Then the time schedule controller transmits the left half-row and right half-row data and the control signal to the two output interface controllers respectively, and finally the two display output interfaces output the video data with the corresponding interface formats respectively. Because the two interface controllers are the same, the processing time of the paths is consistent, and the real-time performance and the synchronization performance are ensured.
Fig. 3 shows a general flow diagram according to an embodiment of the invention. The process comprises the following steps: s100, identifying the video data stored in the first cache space and the second cache space, and issuing an abnormal display synchronous display instruction if the video data are different; s200, merging the images in the video data corresponding to the first cache space and the second cache space into a complete image and generating a display control time sequence of the complete image; and S300, outputting the complete image to a corresponding display interface by using a single video display channel.

Claims (7)
1. A method for synchronous display of dual-screen different display is characterized in that:
s100, identifying the video data stored in the first cache space and the second cache space, and issuing an abnormal display synchronous display instruction if the video data are different;
s200, merging the images in the video data corresponding to the first cache space and the second cache space into a complete image and generating a display control time sequence of the complete image;
and S300, outputting the complete image to a corresponding display interface by using a single video display channel.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the first buffer space and the second buffer space are disposed in a double rate synchronous dynamic random access memory.

The method for synchronous display of dual displays according to claim 1, further comprising: and if the video data stored in the first cache space and the second cache space are not subjected to the different display, taking out the video data from the first cache space or the second cache space, and displaying the picture data in the video data through the corresponding interface.
4. The method for synchronous display of dual-screen displays according to claim 1, wherein the S200 specifically includes:

and the interface controller is used for receiving the display control time sequence and the complete picture and displaying the complete picture on a corresponding display device.
7. The apparatus for dual-screen differentiated display synchronous display according to claim 1, wherein the interface controller is configured to be two identical, and the interface controller is configured to output video data in a corresponding interface format.
