An execution main body of the control method provided in the embodiment of the present invention may be the electronic device, or may also be a functional module and/or a functional entity capable of implementing the control method in the electronic device, which may be determined specifically according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited. The following takes an electronic device as an example to exemplarily explain a control method provided by the embodiment of the present invention.
The following describes an exemplary control method provided by an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the drawings.
As shown in fig. 2, an embodiment of the present invention provides a control method applied to an electronic device including a pluggable stylus, where the control method may include steps 201 and 202 described below.
Step 201, in the case that the electronic device displays the first interface, the electronic device receives a first input that the user pulls out or inserts the stylus into the electronic device.
The touch pen is a device that can be used for inputting on a touch screen instead of a finger.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the first interface may be a session interface, a chat interface, or any other interface that can be input by using a stylus. The method can be determined according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the invention is not limited.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the first interface may be an interface (e.g., a main interface or a function interface) of the first application program, or may be a desktop interface, or may be any other interface meeting an actual use requirement, which may be determined specifically according to the actual use requirement, and this is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the first application may be a communication application, a social application, an album application, a shopping application, or any other possible application, which may be determined specifically according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
For example, assuming that the first application is a communication application, the first interface may be a short message editing interface. Alternatively, assuming the first application is a social-type application, the first interface may be a conversation interface. Alternatively, assuming that the first application is an album-type application, the first interface may be an album interface on which a plurality of pictures are displayed.
Step 202, the electronic device responds to the first input and updates the first interface.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, the update first interface may be any one of the following: and displaying the virtual keyboard on the first interface, canceling the display of the virtual keyboard on the first interface, and switching the virtual keyboard displayed on the first interface into another virtual keyboard.
It should be noted that the virtual keyboard may also be referred to as an input method keyboard, or a virtual keyboard interface, or an input method input interface.
In one aspect, if the user needs to input on the electronic device through the stylus while the electronic device displays the first interface, the user may pull the stylus from the electronic device (i.e., the first input) to trigger the electronic device to update the first interface. For example, the operation of the electronic device to update the first interface may be: displaying a virtual keyboard on a first interface, or switching the virtual keyboard displayed on the first interface to another virtual keyboard, or updating (jumping to) the first interface to a second interface, which may be different interfaces of the first application.
For example, taking the first interface as a session interface of the communication application, if a user needs to input text, voice, or image content on the session interface through a stylus, the user may pull the stylus out of the electronic device (i.e., the first input); accordingly, the electronic device may display a virtual keyboard on the session interface in response to the first input, and the user may input the corresponding content in the session interface by operating on the virtual keyboard.
For another example, taking the first interface as a desktop interface of the electronic device as an example, if the user needs to perform information search on the desktop interface, the user may pull the stylus out of the electronic device (i.e., the first input); accordingly, the electronic device may display an information search box and a virtual keyboard on the desktop interface in response to the first input, and the user may perform information search by inputting content in the information search box by operating on the virtual keyboard.
For another example, taking the first interface as an album browsing interface as an example, if the user needs to perform batch processing (for example, batch selection and forwarding, or batch editing) on the pictures in the album browsing interface, the user may pull the stylus out of the electronic device (i.e., the first input) at this time; accordingly, the electronic device may update (jump to) the album browsing interface to the album editing interface in response to the first input, and then the user may operate on the album editing interface through the stylus pen.
On the other hand, in the case where the electronic device displays the first interface, if the user does not need to input on the electronic device through the stylus, the user may insert the stylus into the electronic device (i.e., the first input) at this time to trigger the electronic device to update the first interface. For example, the operation of the electronic device to update the first interface may be: the method comprises the steps of switching a virtual keyboard displayed on a first interface to another virtual keyboard, or canceling the display of the virtual keyboard on the first interface, or updating (jumping to) the first interface to a second interface, wherein the first interface and the second interface can be different interfaces of a first application program.
For example, taking the first interface as a session interface of the communication application, if a user needs to input text, voice, or image content on the session interface through a stylus, at this time, the user may pull the stylus out from the electronic device (i.e., the first input), and accordingly, the electronic device may display a virtual keyboard on the session interface in response to the first input, and the user may input corresponding content in the session interface by operating on the virtual keyboard.
The following describes a specific implementation procedure of the control method provided by the embodiment of the present invention by way of example in the following first implementation manner, second implementation manner, third implementation manner, and fourth implementation manner.
First implementation
In a first implementation manner, the first input is that the user pulls the stylus out of the electronic device. In this case, the step 202 described above can be specifically realized by the step 202A described below.
Step 202A, the electronic device responds to the first input, and if the first interface does not include the first virtual keyboard, the electronic device displays the first virtual keyboard on the first interface.
As shown in fig. 3 (a), when the stylus is not pulled out of the electronic device, the electronic device displays the session interface 31 (i.e., the first interface), and the session interface 31 does not include a virtual keyboard. If the user needs to use the stylus to input information on the session interface 31, the user can pull the stylus out of the electronic device.
Accordingly, as shown in (b) of fig. 3, in the case where the user pulls the stylus 32 out of the electronic device, the electronic device may display the virtual keyboard 33 on the conversation interface 31.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the user pulls the stylus out of the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment can directly pop up the virtual keyboard on the current display interface for the user to input on the first interface, and the user does not need to operate on the current display interface to call up the virtual keyboard, so that the use process of the stylus is smoother and more intelligent, and the convenience of the electronic equipment for inputting by using the stylus can be improved.
Second implementation
In a second implementation manner, the first input is a user inserting a stylus into the electronic device. In this case, the step 202 described above can be specifically realized by the step 202B described below.
Step 202B, the electronic device responds to the first input, and if the first interface includes the first virtual keyboard, the electronic device hides the first virtual keyboard.
Referring again to fig. 3 (b), in the case that the stylus has been pulled out of the electronic device, the electronic device displays a session interface 31 (i.e., the first interface described above), and the session interface 31 includes a virtual keyboard 33 (e.g., a pinyin virtual keyboard). If the user does not need to use a stylus to enter information on the session interface 31, the user may insert a stylus 32 into the electronic device.
Accordingly, referring again to (a) of fig. 3, in the case where the user inserts the stylus into the electronic device, the electronic device may cancel the display of the virtual keyboard on the session interface 31, i.e., hide the virtual keyboard.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the user inserts the stylus into the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment can directly hide the virtual keyboard in the current display interface, and the user does not need to operate on the current display interface to hide the virtual keyboard, so that the embodiment of the invention can improve the convenience of the matched use of the electronic equipment and the stylus.
Third implementation mode
In a third implementation manner, assuming that the first input is that the user pulls the stylus out of the electronic device, the step 202 may be specifically implemented by a step 202C described below.
Step 202C, if the first interface includes the second virtual keyboard, updating the second virtual keyboard to a third virtual keyboard.
The second virtual keyboard and the first virtual keyboard may be the same or different.
The second virtual keyboard may be a non-handwriting virtual keyboard (e.g., a pinyin-type virtual keyboard, which is abbreviated as a pinyin virtual keyboard), and the third virtual keyboard may be a handwriting-type virtual keyboard (which is abbreviated as a handwriting virtual keyboard). For convenience of description, the second virtual keyboard is taken as a pinyin keyboard, and the third virtual keyboard is taken as a handwriting virtual keyboard for example, so as to perform an exemplary description.
As shown in fig. 4 (a), in a case where the stylus is not pulled out of the electronic device, the electronic device displays a session interface 31 (i.e., the first interface), and the session interface 31 includes a pinyin virtual keyboard 33 (i.e., the second virtual keyboard). If the user needs to use the touch pen to input information through the handwriting virtual keyboard (i.e., the third virtual keyboard), the user can pull the touch pen out of the electronic device.
Accordingly, as shown in (b) of fig. 4, in case that the user pulls the stylus pen 32 out of the electronic device, the electronic device may update the pinyin virtual keyboard 33 displayed on the session interface 31 to the handwriting virtual keyboard 34.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the user pulls the stylus out of the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment can update the virtual keyboard displayed on the current display interface to another virtual keyboard without the need of operating the current display interface by the user to switch the virtual keyboard, so that the convenience of inputting by using the stylus by the electronic equipment can be improved.
Fourth mode of implementation
In a fourth implementation manner, assuming that the first input is a user inserting a stylus into the electronic device, the step 202 may be specifically implemented by the step 202D described below.
Step 202D, if the first interface includes the third virtual keyboard, updating the third virtual keyboard to the second virtual keyboard.
Referring again to fig. 4 (b), in the case that the stylus has been pulled out of the electronic device, the electronic device displays a session interface 31 (i.e., the first interface), and the session interface 31 includes a handwriting virtual keyboard 34 (i.e., the third virtual keyboard). If the user needs to input information through the original pinyin virtual keyboard 33 (e.g., the second virtual keyboard described above) and does not need to employ a stylus, the user may insert the stylus into the electronic device.
Accordingly, referring again to (a) of fig. 4, in case that the user inserts the stylus 32 into the electronic device, the electronic device may restore the handwritten virtual keyboard 34 displayed on the session interface 31 to the pinyin virtual keyboard 33.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the user inserts the stylus into the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment can restore the virtual keyboard displayed on the current display interface to the original virtual keyboard without the need of operating the current display interface by the user to switch the virtual keyboard, so that the convenience of inputting by using the stylus by the electronic equipment can be improved.
Optionally, in the first implementation manner to the fourth implementation manner, the specific implementation manner of how to update the first interface according to the first input may be set by a user in a customized manner in advance, or may be determined by the electronic device according to behavior history data of the stylus used by the user, specifically may be determined according to an actual use requirement, and an embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
For example, taking the example that the electronic device determines how to update the first interface according to the behavior history data of the stylus used by the user, the electronic device may memorize the type of virtual keyboard that the user is accustomed to select when using the stylus to operate the input method. For example, assuming that a user is used to use a handwriting virtual keyboard when using a stylus and to use a pinyin virtual keyboard when using finger input, the electronic device may display the virtual pinyin keyboard when the user uses finger input; when the user pulls the touch pen out of the electronic equipment, the virtual keyboard is automatically switched to a handwriting virtual keyboard used by the user; and under the condition that the user inserts the touch pen into the electronic equipment, the virtual keyboard is automatically switched into the pinyin keyboard.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the difference between finger input and stylus input of a user can be memorized, and the user is switched to the type of the virtual keyboard commonly used by the user when using the stylus, so that the use process of the stylus is smoother and more intelligent, and the convenience of the electronic equipment and the stylus in matching use can be improved.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, for the operation of updating the first interface, the following first mode or second mode may be specifically implemented.
In a first mode
And when the first input is the condition that the user pulls the touch pen out of the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment controls to jump from the first interface to a second interface, and the second interface is an editing interface which can adopt the touch pen for input.
For example, the first interface may be a picture browsing interface and the second interface may be a picture editing interface. Specifically, in a scene that a user browses pictures through the electronic device, if the user pulls out the stylus from the electronic device, the electronic device can automatically switch a currently displayed picture browsing interface to a picture editing interface, so that the user can edit the pictures conveniently.
Mode two
And when the first input is the condition that the user inserts the touch pen into the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment controls to jump from a first interface to a second interface, wherein the first interface is an editing interface which can adopt the touch pen for input.
For example, the first interface may be a picture editing interface and the second interface may be a picture browsing interface.
Therefore, the current display interface of the electronic equipment can be updated according to the state of the touch pen, so that redundant operations of a user are reduced, the interaction intelligence of the electronic equipment and the touch pen is improved, and the user experience is improved.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device may combine artificial intelligence to learn a habit of using a stylus by a user in different application scenarios, and make some intelligent responses.
For example, assuming that a user is used to perform a multi-selection picture operation by using a stylus when browsing an album thumbnail, in a scenario where the user browses the album thumbnail, when the user pulls the stylus out of the electronic device, the electronic device is automatically switched to the multi-selection picture interface.
For another example, assuming that the user is used to draw with a stylus in a drawing application, after the user triggers the electronic device to run the drawing application, the electronic device automatically pops up the stylus, which is convenient for the user to draw with the stylus.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the electronic equipment displays a conversation interface or other interfaces needing input, when a user pulls the stylus out of the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment can automatically pop up a virtual keyboard on the current display interface, or can switch the current display interface into other operation interfaces, so that the electronic equipment can more intelligently control the display interface when being matched with the stylus for use, and the interactive operation of the stylus on the electronic equipment is convenient for the user.
The control method provided by the embodiment of the invention can receive the first input of pulling out or inserting the touch pen into the electronic equipment by a user under the condition that the electronic equipment displays the first interface of the first application program; and updating the first interface in response to the first input. The control method provided by the embodiment of the invention is applied to the scene of interactive application of the electronic equipment and the touch pen, when the touch pen is pulled out or inserted into the electronic equipment by a user, the electronic equipment can respond to the input of the user, and directly update the current display interface to the interface suitable for the current state of the touch pen according to the state change of the touch pen (for example, if the touch pen is pulled out, the updated interface is the interface capable of being input through the touch pen), and the user does not need to operate to trigger the current display interface to update. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention can improve the convenience of interactive application of the electronic equipment and the touch pen.
The following describes an exemplary process and principle of how an electronic device interacts with a stylus in a first implementation and a second implementation.
Implementation mode one
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, when the stylus is in the inserted state, the stylus is inserted into a stylus accommodating apparatus of the electronic device, and the stylus accommodating apparatus is provided with a stylus detecting apparatus.
After the electronic device receives a first input (step 201 in fig. 2) of a user pulling or inserting a stylus into the electronic device, before the electronic device updates the first interface in response to the first input (step 202 in fig. 2), the control method provided by the embodiment of the invention further includes the following step 203 or step 204.
Step 203, if the stylus detection apparatus detects that the stylus contacts the stylus detection apparatus, the electronic device determines that the first input is the user inserting the stylus into the electronic device.
In an embodiment of the present invention, when the stylus detection apparatus detects that the stylus contacts the stylus detection apparatus, the stylus detection apparatus may send stylus state change information to the electronic device, and after receiving the stylus state change information, the electronic device determines, according to the stylus state change information, that the first input is a user inserting the stylus into the electronic device.
Step 204, if the stylus detection device detects that the stylus is separated from the stylus detection device, the electronic device determines that the first input is the user pulling the stylus out of the electronic device.
Similarly, in a case where the stylus detection apparatus detects that the stylus is detached from the stylus detection apparatus, the stylus detection apparatus may send stylus state change information to the electronic device, and after receiving the stylus state change information, the electronic device determines, according to the stylus state change information, that the first input is the user pulling the stylus out of the electronic device.
For example, assuming that the stylus detecting device is a physical button disposed in the stylus receiving device, and assuming that the button status is 1 when the stylus is received in the stylus receiving device, and the button status is 0 after the user takes out the stylus, the operating system of the electronic device may determine that the stylus is separated from the stylus detecting device after detecting that the button status signal is changed from 1 to 0, and then determine that the user pulls out the stylus from the electronic device, and may conclude that: the user takes the stylus and prepares to use the stylus for input on the electronic device. At the moment, the electronic equipment can automatically pop up an input method interface, and a user can directly perform input operation without clicking an input box to call out an input method. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention can improve the convenience of interactive application of the electronic equipment and the touch pen.
Furthermore, after the user input is finished and the stylus is inserted into the electronic device, the operating system of the electronic device can determine that the stylus contacts the stylus detection device after detecting that the key state signal is changed from 0 to 1, and then determine that the user inserts the stylus into the electronic device, and can deduce: the user retracts the stylus in preparation for not using the stylus. The electronic device can automatically hide (i.e., collapse) the input method interface at this time. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention can improve the convenience of interactive application of the electronic equipment and the touch pen.
Implementation mode two
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the stylus and the electronic device may communicate with each other through Near Field Communication (NFC). In this case, after the electronic device receives the first input that the user pulls or inserts the stylus pen into the electronic device, the control method provided by the embodiment of the present invention further includes step 205 or step 206 described below.
Step 205, if the NFC signal intensity between the stylus and the electronic device is greater than or equal to the preset threshold, the electronic device determines that the first input is that the user inserts the stylus into the electronic device.
Step 206, if the NFC signal intensity between the stylus and the electronic device is smaller than the preset threshold, the electronic device determines that the first input is the user pulling the stylus out of the electronic device.
In the embodiment of the invention, the touch pen can be configured with the NFC label, and the terminal equipment can be configured with the NFC receiving device. The stylus and the electronic device can communicate through NFC. The preset threshold for determining the NFC signal strength may be determined according to an actual use requirement, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
Specifically, when the user inserted the stylus into the electronic device, the NFC receiving device was in the communication distance within range in NFC tag and the electronic device in the stylus, and the electronic device can detect the NFC tag of stylus this moment, can confirm that the user inserted the stylus into the electronic device, can deduce: the user retracts the stylus in preparation for not using the stylus, and the electronic device may automatically hide (i.e., retract) the input method interface at this time. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention can improve the convenience of interactive application of the electronic equipment and the touch pen.
Similarly, when the user extracts the stylus from the electronic device, the NFC tag in the stylus and the NFC receiving device in the electronic device are out of the range of the communication distance, and at this moment, the device cannot detect the NFC tag of the stylus, so that it can be determined that the user extracts the stylus from the electronic device, and the user can deduce: the user takes the stylus and prepares to use the stylus for input on the electronic device. At the moment, the electronic equipment can automatically pop up an input method interface, and a user can directly perform input operation without clicking an input box to call out an input method. Therefore, the embodiment of the invention can improve the convenience of interactive application of the electronic equipment and the touch pen.
