The electronic device in the embodiment of the present invention may be an electronic device having an operating system. The operating system may be an Android (Android) operating system, an ios operating system, or other possible operating systems, and embodiments of the present invention are not limited in particular.
The following describes a software environment to which the display control method provided by the embodiment of the present invention is applied, by taking an android operating system as an example.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an architecture of a possible android operating system according to an embodiment of the present invention. In fig. 1, the architecture of the android operating system includes 4 layers, which are respectively: an application layer, an application framework layer, a system runtime layer, and a kernel layer (specifically, a Linux kernel layer).
The application program layer comprises various application programs (including system application programs and third-party application programs) in an android operating system.
The application framework layer is a framework of the application, and a developer can develop some applications based on the application framework layer under the condition of complying with the development principle of the framework of the application. For example, applications such as a system setup application, a system chat application, and a system camera application. And the third-party setting application, the third-party camera application, the third-party chatting application and other application programs.
The system runtime layer includes libraries (also called system libraries) and android operating system runtime environments. The library mainly provides various resources required by the android operating system. The android operating system running environment is used for providing a software environment for the android operating system.
The kernel layer is an operating system layer of an android operating system and belongs to the bottommost layer of an android operating system software layer. The kernel layer provides kernel system services and hardware-related drivers for the android operating system based on the Linux kernel.
Taking an android operating system as an example, in the embodiment of the present invention, a developer may develop a software program for implementing the display control method provided in the embodiment of the present invention based on the system architecture of the android operating system shown in fig. 1, so that the display control method may operate based on the android operating system shown in fig. 1. That is, the processor or the electronic device may implement the display control method provided by the embodiment of the present invention by running the software program in the android operating system.
The following describes the display control method provided in the embodiment of the present invention in detail with reference to the flowchart of the display control method shown in fig. 2. Wherein, although the logical order of the display control methods provided by embodiments of the present invention is shown in method flow diagrams, in some cases, the steps shown or described may be performed in an order different than here. For example, the display control method illustrated in fig. 2 may include S201 and S202:
s201, the electronic equipment displays a display interface of the first application program on a first area of the flexible screen.
S202, the electronic equipment displays the target object on the bending area under the condition that the flexible screen is in the bending state.
The target object corresponds to the first application program and the position of the bending area in the flexible screen; the bending area is an area with the curvature larger than or equal to a preset threshold value in the flexible screen.
Specifically, the electronic device provided by the embodiment of the invention can be an electronic device including a flexible screen. Along with the bending (or folding) of the screen, the electronic device bends.
The flexible screen can be bent at a designated position in the screen, and can also be bent at any position in the screen. The flexible screen has a certain curvature at the folding position, namely, a certain curvature exists in the area (namely, the bending area) where the folding position is located.
Wherein, the bending area of the screen has a certain curvature, which can also be described as the screen has a certain curvature.
It is understood that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the state of the screen may be a bent state or an unfolded state.
Wherein, in the case that the screen is in a bent state, the screen may be bent into two or more planar regions at one or more positions. The two or more plane areas are in different planes, a bending area is arranged between two adjacent plane areas, and the curvature of each bending area is larger than or equal to a preset threshold value. The specific value of the preset threshold may be determined according to the requirement, and this is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present invention. Specifically, the bending region is a region in the screen, where the curvature is greater than or equal to a preset threshold.
The screen is in a plane when the screen is in an unfolded state, or the screen is bent and has a curvature smaller than a preset threshold. In the following embodiments, the display control method provided by the embodiments of the present invention is described by taking an example in which a screen is bent into two planar regions, and a bent region exists between the two planar regions.
It should be noted that the electronic device may determine the current screen state according to the screen display state (e.g., whether the content is displayed on the screen) or the built-in hardware, for example, determine whether the screen state is an extended state or a bent state. For example, in the case where the curvature of the screen is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, the electronic apparatus determines that the state of the screen is a bent state. And under the condition that the area of the screen is smaller than a preset threshold value, the electronic equipment determines that the state of the screen is an expansion state.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, a switch button may be provided in the electronic device, for supporting a user to select whether to trigger the electronic device to display the target object on the bending area. Wherein the electronic device may display the target object in the bending area in a case where the switch button is in an on state. Accordingly, in the case where the switch button is in the off state, the electronic apparatus does not display the target object on the bending region, i.e., does not display any content on the bending region.
Optionally, the electronic device may automatically detect which application the first application is and the position of the bending area in the flexible screen in real time, and prompt the user in a preset prompting manner whether to trigger the electronic device to execute the step of displaying the target object in the bending area. The prompt manner may be a text box prompt manner or a voice prompt manner, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited in this respect.
It will be appreciated that the curvature of the screen, and the angle at which the screen is folded, may both be indicative of the degree of curvature of the screen. In different scenes, the embodiment of the invention adopts different parameters in curvature and folding angle to describe the bending degree of the screen.
For example, the electronic device may automatically recognize a screen folding angle, and when the folding angle of the screen is within a certain angle range (e.g., a first preset angle range), the electronic device may output a voice prompt to prompt the user whether the current screen is folded to a certain angle and the current scene shortcut needs to be displayed, so as to prompt the user to select whether to display the target object in the bending area.
Alternatively, in the case where the screen is in the expanded state, the electronic device may display the complete content (denoted as the initial content, such as the content of the first application program described above) on the screen as a whole. As the screen is folded into multiple planar regions (e.g., folded into two planar regions), the electronic device may display the initial content (i.e., zoom-display) in one planar region and display the predetermined content (e.g., the content of a desktop) or no content in another planar region.
It can be understood that the bending region is located at different positions in the flexible screen, and the area of the plane region divided by the flexible screen is different.
Illustratively, the first area may be a whole area or a partial area in the flexible screen. Wherein, in case that the first region is a partial region in the flexible screen, the flexible screen may include a bending region.
Optionally, the object (e.g., the target object) provided in the embodiment of the present invention may be a function control, an icon of an application program, or a shortcut of the application program (e.g., an entry identifier (or called icon) of the application program).
Illustratively, the target object may include at least one of: the function control is used for controlling the first application program, and the entrance identification of the second application program; the second application program is an application program which is pre-associated with the first application program. For example, the second application may be the same application type as the first application.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the target object corresponds to the first application program, and may be a parameter of the target object corresponding to the first application program.
Optionally, the parameters of the application program may include an application name, an application category, a resource amount, an application scenario, and the like. The application types may include social types, game types, office types, shopping types, and the like, or the application types may include third-party applications and system applications. The resource amount may be the resource amount of an installation package of the application program, or the resource amount occupied by the application program when running. The application scenes may include game scenes, video scenes, reading scenes, and the like.
For example, in the case that the parameter of the application is an application name, the application name of the first application may be a preset application name, such as an application name of the first application called "camera". At this time, the target object may be an object corresponding to a "camera" application.
In the case that the parameter of the application is the application type, the application type of the first application may be a preset application type, for example, the application type of the first application is a shopping type. In this case, the target object may be an object corresponding to the shopping class application.
When the parameter of the application program is the resource amount, the resource amount occupied by the running of the first application program may be greater than or equal to the preset resource amount. In this case, the target object may be an object corresponding to an application that occupies a large amount of resources.
When the parameter of the application program is an application scene, the application scene of the first application program may be a video scene, and the target object may be an object corresponding to the application program supporting the video playing function. The application scene of the first application program may be a game scene, and the target object may be an object corresponding to an application program supporting a game function. The application scene of the first application program may be a reading scene, and the target object may be an object corresponding to an application program supporting a text reading function.
Optionally, the electronic device may preset at least two preset positions in the screen, where each preset position corresponds to at least one object. Specifically, the target object corresponds to a position of the bending region in the flexible screen, which means that the target object corresponds to a preset position of the bending region in the flexible screen.
Illustratively, the at least two preset positions include a position in a first side of the screen (e.g., an upper half of the screen) and a position in a second side of the screen (e.g., a lower half of the screen). Alternatively, the at least two preset positions include a position at 1/2, a position at 1/3, a position at 1/4, etc. of the screen length. For example, if the position of the bending region in the current screen is 1/2 of the screen length, the target object is an object corresponding to 1/2 of the screen length.
It should be noted that, with the display control method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the display interface of the first application program may be displayed on the first area of the flexible screen, and the target object may be displayed on the bent area when the flexible screen is in the bent state, so that waste of display resources in the bent area may be avoided. The target object corresponds to the first application program and the position of the bending area in the flexible screen; the bending area is an area with the curvature larger than or equal to a preset threshold value in the flexible screen. Therefore, the electronic device can rapidly display different target objects according to different first applications and different positions of the bending area in the flexible screen, such as objects such as function controls of the different applications or icons of the different applications, in the bending area. Therefore, convenience and flexibility of the user in operating the application program are improved.
Optionally, in application scenario 1 provided in the embodiment of the present invention, S202 may be implemented by S202a and S202 b:
s202a, the electronic device receives bending input of the flexible screen by a user.
S202b, in response to the bending input, the electronic device displays the target object on the bending area, displays the display interface of the first application program on the second area, and displays the target content indicated by the target object on the third area.
The second area and the third area are different areas obtained by dividing the bending area in the flexible screen, and the bending area is a part of the first area.
In the application scenario 1, the first area is an entire screen area of the flexible screen of the electronic device in the expanded state, that is, the electronic device may run the first application program in the foreground on the entire flexible screen.
Specifically, the bending region is a part of the first region, which means that the screen region where the bending region is located is included in the screen region where the first region is located. Of course, the first region may also include a second region and a third region, i.e., the area of the first region is larger than that of the second region, and the area of the first region is larger than that of the third region.
In the application scenario 1, the electronic device may zoom and display a display interface displaying the first application program on the first area and on the second area.
Optionally, when the target object is a function control, the target content indicated by the target object may be a function interface of the function control.
Optionally, in a case where the target object is an icon of an application or a shortcut of the application, the target content indicated by the target object may be a display interface of the application.
Optionally, the electronic device may simultaneously display the target object on the bending area, display the display interface of the first application program on the second area, and display the target content indicated by the target object on the third area. Or, the electronic device may first display the target object on the bending area, and display a display interface of the first application program on the second area; subsequently, after receiving the user input to the target object, the target content indicated by the target object may be displayed on the third area.
Alternatively, in a case where the target object includes a plurality of objects, the target content indicated by the target object may be content indicated by any one of the plurality of objects, or content indicated by an object arranged in the top order among the plurality of objects.
In the embodiment of the invention, a user can trigger the electronic equipment to start displaying the target object on the bending area of the flexible screen through simple and convenient bending input to the flexible screen according to the self requirement, so that the controllability of the electronic equipment for displaying the target object is improved.
Optionally, in application scenario 2 provided in the embodiment of the present invention, after S202, S203 may further be included:
s203, the electronic equipment displays the target content indicated by the target object on the fourth area under the condition that the flexible screen is in the bent state.
The first area and the fourth area are different areas obtained by dividing the bending area in the flexible screen.
In the application scenario 2, the first area is a partial screen area when the flexible screen of the electronic device is in a bent state, and the first application program is an application program running in the foreground on the partial screen area.
Specifically, the fourth region may be a region on the flexible screen other than the first region and the bending region.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, when the electronic device is in a bent state, the electronic device may use one of the plurality of planar areas in the flexible screen as the main display area. Specifically, the first application program run in the foreground by the electronic device refers to an application program run on the main display area by the electronic device.
Illustratively, in application scenario 2, the first region is the main display region of the flexible screen. At this time, even if the electronic device is folded a plurality of times, the electronic device may continuously display the display interface of the first application in the main display area.
For the description of the target content indicated by the target object, reference may be made to the related description in S202b in the foregoing embodiment, which is not described herein again.
Alternatively, in the application scenario 2, the electronic device may simultaneously display the target object on the bending area and display the target content indicated by the target object on the fourth area. Alternatively, the electronic device may display the target object on the bending area, and after receiving the input of the target object from the user, display the target content indicated by the target object on the fourth area.
In the embodiment of the invention, under the condition that the electronic equipment displays the target object on the bending area, the target content indicated by the target object can be displayed on the fourth area of the flexible screen, so that a user can conveniently view or operate the target content indicated by the target object.
Optionally, with reference to the application scenario 1, in the mode 1 of example 1, when the bending region is located at the first position in the flexible screen, a ratio of an area of the second region to an area of the third region is within a first range, the target object is an entry identifier of the application program, the target content is a display interface of the second application program, and an application type of the second application program is the same as an application type of the first application program. In mode 2 of example 1, in a case where the bending region is at a second position in the flexible screen, a ratio of an area of the second region to an area of the third region is within a second range, and the target object is a control that triggers updating of content displayed on the second region.
In mode 2 of example 1, the electronic device may display the content or not display the content on the third area. For example, the electronic device may display the same content on the third area as on the second area, such as an updated display interface of the first application.
Alternatively, the first range may be [0.8, 1.25], and in this case, the areas of the two regions are not greatly different, and it may be considered that the attention of the user to the two regions is about the same. Therefore, the display interfaces of two different application programs of the same type are respectively displayed in the two areas, and the user can compare the contents of the two application programs conveniently.
Alternatively, the second range may be [2, ∞), where the area of the second region is significantly larger than the area of the third region, it may be considered that the user is more interested in the content of the second region. Therefore, the control pieces for controlling the display content of the second area are displayed in the bending area, and the operation of a user can be facilitated.
Illustratively, the first position may be at 1/2 in the flexible screen when the ratio of the area of the second region to the area of the third region is equal to 1, i.e. the ratio is within the first range [0.8, 1.25 ]. The second position may be at position 1/3 in the flexible screen when the ratio of the area of the second region to the area of the third region is equal to 2, i.e. the ratio is within the second range [2, ∞).
For example, in mode 1 of example 1, a display control method provided by an embodiment of the present invention is described by taking as an example a case where a screen of an electronic apparatus includes a second region P1, a third region P2, and a bent region P3 when the screen is in a bent state, and the second region P1 is a main display region. Wherein, the application type of the first application program (marked as shopping application 1) which is operated by the electronic device in the foreground on the first area is assumed to be shopping type.
As shown in fig. 3, the display interface of the shopping application 1 is displayed on the second region P1, and the bending region P3 is at the 1/2 position (i.e., the position of the line segment O1) in the flexible screen. At this time, if the electronic device does not run other application programs of the shopping type in the background, the electronic device may display the portal identifiers of the other application programs of the shopping type, such as the portal identifier K1 of the shopping application 2, the portal identifier K2 of the shopping application 3, and the portal identifier K3 of the shopping application 4, on the bent area P3.
Alternatively, if some shopping-type applications (e.g., the portal identification K1 of the shopping application 2) are already running in the background of the electronic device, the electronic device may display the portal identifications of these applications and the portal identifications of other shopping-type applications (e.g., the portal identification K2 of the shopping application 3 and the portal identification K3 of the shopping application 4) in the bending region P3. At this time, the portal identifiers K1 to K3 may be target objects, that is, the target objects are portal identifiers of the second application program, and the second application programs (e.g., shopping application 2 to shopping application 4) are application programs associated with the first application program (shopping application 1) in advance. In this way, the electronic device can subsequently display the interface of the corresponding application program to the user under the triggering of the portal identifier from the portal identifiers K1 to K3, so as to compare the contents of different application programs of shopping types, as the price of a commodity in the application programs of different shopping types.
Specifically, fig. 3 shows that the third area P2 may display a display interface of the shopping application 2. The electronic device may start to display the display interface of the shopping application 2, the portal identification K1 of the shopping application 2, the portal identification K2 of the shopping application 3, and the portal identification K3 of the shopping application 4 at the same time. Alternatively, the electronic device may display the entry identifier K1 of the shopping application 2, the entry identifier K2 of the shopping application 3, and the entry identifier K3 of the shopping application 4, and after the user inputs (e.g., clicks) the entry identifier K1 of the shopping application 2, start displaying the display interface of the shopping application 2 on the third area P2.
As shown in fig. 4, in mode 2 of example 1, a display interface of the shopping application 1 is displayed on the second region P1, and the bending region P3 is at 1/3 (i.e., where the line segment O2 is located) in the flexible screen. At this time, the electronic apparatus may display the control Y1, the control Y2, and the control Y3 on the bending region P3. Specifically, the control Y1 (denoted as a previous screen control) is used to instruct the electronic device to control the last interface on the second area P1 where the displayed content is updated to the current interface, such as the interface where the shopping link of the previous item is located. The control Y2 (denoted as a next screen control) is used to instruct the electronic device to control the next interface on the second region P1, where the content is updated to the current interface, such as an interface where the shopping link of the current commodity is updated from the interface where the shopping link of the previous commodity is located. The control Y3 (denoted as a top-back control) is used to instruct the electronic device to control the display content in the second region P1 to update to the top content, such as the top of the interface where the link to the current item is located. At this time, the controls Y1 through Y3 may be target objects, that is, the target objects are controls for controlling the first application program, and the first application program is the shopping application 1. Therefore, the user can conveniently control the content displayed by the first application program through the controls Y1-Y3, and convenience of the user in controlling the application program is improved. At this time, the electronic apparatus may not display any content on the third region P2.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the bending region is positioned at different positions in the flexible screen, the flexible screen can be divided into two regions with different area ratios, so that the electronic equipment can display different contents on the regions with different areas. Specifically, the electronic device may respectively display the display interfaces of the first application program and the second application program with the same application type in the second area and the third area with the same area, so that the display effects of the display interface of the first application program and the display interface of the second application program are ensured to a certain extent. In addition, the electronic device can display the display interface of the first application program on the second area with a larger area, and does not display any content on the third area, so that the display effect of the display interface of the first application program is ensured to a certain extent. In addition, the target object provided by the electronic device can be used for controlling the first application program running before the operation and/or controlling the second application program with the same application type as the first application program, so that a user can conveniently control the first application program and/or the second application program through the target object without searching a function control in the first application program or searching icons of the second application program in a large number of icons in a desktop, and convenience and flexibility for the user to control the application programs are improved.
Optionally, in combination with the application scenario 1, the first application is an application to be input with content. In the mode 1 of example 2, when the bending region is at a third position in the flexible screen, a ratio of an area of the second region to an area of the third region is in a third range, the target object is an entry identifier of an input control, the target content includes the input control, and the input control is a control for inputting content to the first application. In mode 2 of example 2, in a case that the bending region is at a fourth position in the flexible screen, a ratio of areas of the second region to the third region is within a fourth range, the target object is an entry identifier of the third application, the target content is a display interface of the third application, and the content in the display interface of the third application is content to be input into the first application.
Illustratively, the first application may be a chat application or a search application, such as the third application may be a notepad application (denoted notepad).
Alternatively, the third range may be [1.9, ∞), where the area of the second region is significantly larger than the area of the third region, the user's viewing demand for the content of the second region may be considered to be higher. In this way, the display interface of the first application program is displayed in the second area, and the input control is displayed in the third area, so that the user can conveniently input content, such as chat content, into the first application program through the input control while viewing the display interface of the first application program.
Alternatively, the fourth range may be [0.9, 1.1], where the areas of the second region and the third region are not greatly different, and it may be considered that the user needs to operate the contents in the two regions more or less. In this way, the display interface of the first application program of the content to be input is displayed in the second area, and the display interface of the third application program for inputting the content is displayed in the third area, so that the user has enough operation space to input the content into the first application program by inputting the content in the third application program while viewing the display interface of the first application program.
Illustratively, the third position may be 1/3 position in the flexible screen when the ratio of the area of the second region to the area of the third region is equal to 2, i.e. the ratio is within a third range ([1.9, ∞). The fourth position may be at position 1/2 in the flexible screen when the ratio of the area of the second region to the area of the third region is equal to 1, i.e. the ratio is within a fourth range 0.9, 1.1.
Illustratively, in mode 1 of example 2, the display control method provided by the embodiment of the present invention is described by taking a case where a flexible screen of an electronic device is in a bent state, the flexible screen includes a second region P1, a third region P2, and a bent region P3, and the second region P1 is a main display region. Wherein, the application type of the first application program (marked as chat application 1) which is operated in the foreground on the first area by the electronic equipment is assumed to be a social type.
As shown in fig. 5, the bending region P3 is at position 1/2 (i.e., at position of the line segment O1) in the flexible screen, and the display interface of the chat application 1 is displayed on the second region P1. Specifically, the electronic device may display the entry identifier S1 of the notepad in the bending region P3, which is used to trigger the electronic device to display the notepad interface, support the user to input the content (such as characters or emoticons) in the notepad, and further trigger the input of the content input in the notepad into the chat application 1. At this time, the entry mark S1 of the notepad is the target object, that is, the target object is the entry mark of the second application, and the notepad is the second application.
Specifically, a display interface of a notepad may be displayed on the third area P2 shown in fig. 5. Wherein, the electronic device can start to display the display interface of the notepad and the entrance identifier S1 of the notepad at the same time. Alternatively, the electronic device may display the entry identifier S1 of the notepad first, and after the user inputs (e.g., clicks) the entry identifier S1 of the notepad, the display interface of the notepad on the third region P2 may be started.
As shown in fig. 6, in mode 2 of example 2, the bending region P3 is at a position 1/3 (i.e., a position where the line segment O2 is located) in the flexible screen, and the content of the chat application 1 is displayed on the second region P1. Specifically, the electronic device may display an entry control S2 of the input control in the bending region P3, which is used to support the user to input content (such as characters or emoticons) for the chat application 1, such as to trigger the electronic device to display an input method interface. At this time, the entry control S2 of the input control is a target object, that is, the target object is a control for controlling the first application.
Specifically, fig. 6 shows that the third area P2 may display the content of an input control (e.g., an input keyboard). Wherein the electronic device may simultaneously begin displaying the contents of the input control and the entry control S2 of the input control. Alternatively, the electronic device may first display the entry control S2 of the input control, and after the user makes an input (e.g., clicks) to the entry control S2 of the input control, the electronic device may start displaying the content of the input control on the third region P2.
Therefore, the user can edit the content through the notepad in the following process, for example, edit the long content, and then conveniently input the edited content in the notepad in the first application program, so as to send the content in the first application. In addition, the electronic equipment can conveniently control the second application program through the target object without searching icons of the third application program in a large number of icons in the desktop. Therefore, convenience and flexibility of the user in operating the application program are improved.
Optionally, in combination with the application scenario 1, a display interface of the first application program includes the first media content in the media content set. In the mode 1 of example 3, in a case where the bending region is at a fifth position in the flexible screen, a ratio of an area of the second region to an area of the third region is within a fifth range, the target object is an entry identifier of the first media content, and the target content is media content similar to the first media content (e.g., the first media content itself). In mode 2 of example 3, in a case that the bending region is at a sixth position in the flexible screen, a ratio of an area of the second region to an area of the third region is within a sixth range, the target object is an entry identifier of at least one content identifier, the target content includes at least one content identifier, one content identifier indicates one media content in the media content set, and the at least one content identifier is a control that triggers the second region and/or the third region to update the displayed media content.
Illustratively, in example 3, the first application may be an album application or a video playing application.
Alternatively, the fifth range may be [0.7, 1.3], where the areas of the two regions are not very different, and it may be considered that the user has almost the same demand for the effect of displaying the content in the two regions. Thus, one image is displayed in the second area, and the other similar image is displayed in the third area, so that the user can conveniently compare and view the two similar images.
Alternatively, the sixth range may be [1.8, ∞) ] where the area of the second region is significantly larger than the area of the third region, it may be considered that the user's demand for the effect of displaying content in the second region is higher. In this way, the image thumbnail can be displayed in the bending area, so that the user can conveniently trigger the electronic equipment to update the image displayed on the second area through inputting the image thumbnail.
Illustratively, the fifth position may be 1/2 position in the flexible screen when the ratio of the area of the second region to the area of the third region is equal to 1, i.e. the ratio is within a fifth range [0.7, 1.3 ]. The sixth position may be at position 1/3 in the flexible screen when the ratio of the area of the second region to the area of the third region is equal to 2, i.e. the ratio is within the sixth range [1.8, ∞).
Exemplarily, in example 3, the display control method provided by the embodiment of the present invention is described by taking a case where a flexible screen of an electronic device is in a bent state, the flexible screen includes a second region P1, a third region P2, and a bent region P3, and the second region P1 is a main display region. Wherein, the first application program which is operated in the foreground of the electronic device on the first area is assumed to be an album application program (denoted as album application 1).
As shown in fig. 7, in mode 1 of example 3, the bending region P3 is at a position 1/2 (i.e., at a position where the line segment O1 is located) in the flexible screen, and a display interface (e.g., including the image 1) of the album application 1 is displayed on the second region P1. Specifically, the electronic device may display an image control button M1 on the bent region P3 for triggering the terminal device to display the image 1 on the third region P2. At this time, the image control button M1 is a target object, that is, the target object is a control for controlling the first application. In this way, the electronic device may subsequently display the content of the same application (e.g., an image in a photo album application) on multiple areas of the flexible screen respectively under the trigger of the image control button M1, which is beneficial for a user to compare and view the content of the application.
Specifically, image 1, i.e., the target content indicated by the target object, is displayed on the third region P2 in fig. 7. Here, the electronic apparatus may simultaneously start displaying the image control button M1 on the bending region P3 and display the image 1 on the third region P2. Alternatively, the electronic device may display the image control button M1 on the bending region P3 first, and may start to display the image 1 on the third region P2 after the user makes an input (e.g., a click input) to the image control button M1.
As shown in fig. 8, in mode 2 of example 3, the bending region P3 is at the 1/3 position (i.e., the position of the line segment O2) in the flexible screen, and the electronic device may display the display interface (e.g., including the image 1) of the album application 1 on the second region P1. Specifically, the electronic device may display an image thumbnail control M2 in the fold region P3 for minimizing display of an image or video in the album application 1 or as an entry of an image or video in the album application 1. At this time, the image thumbnail control M2 is a target object, that is, the target object is a control for controlling the first application. In this manner, the electronic device may subsequently display one or more thumbnails of images in the album application 1 on the third area P2 upon triggering of the image thumbnail control M2. Furthermore, the electronic device can be triggered to rapidly switch and display the content in the first application program displayed on the second region P1 by the input of the user to the one or more thumbnails M3, which is beneficial to improving the convenience and flexibility of operating the application program. The user's click input on a thumbnail may trigger the electronic device to update the image displayed in the second area P1 to the image represented by the thumbnail M3. Sliding input of a user to a plurality of thumbnails M3 can trigger the electronic device to scroll and display images represented by the plurality of thumbnails M3 in the second region P1. In addition, since the electronic device can display the image in the album application 1 on the second area with a larger area, instead of displaying the image in the album application 1 on the third area with a smaller area, the display effect of the image in the album application 1 is better.
Specifically, in fig. 8, a plurality of thumbnail images M3 are displayed on the third area P2. Wherein the electronic device may simultaneously start displaying the image thumbnail control M2 on the fold region P3 and display the plurality of thumbnails M3 on the third region P2. Alternatively, the electronic device may first display the image thumbnail control M2 on the fold region P3, and after a user input (e.g., a click input) to the image thumbnail control M2, may start displaying the plurality of thumbnails M3 on the third region P2.
In the embodiment of the invention, the user does not need to control the electronic equipment to search a certain image from a large number of images of the album application program and then control the electronic equipment to update and display the corresponding image on the screen, but can quickly control the electronic equipment to update and display the image in the album application program by operating the target object and the target content displayed in the flexible screen. Therefore, convenience and flexibility of the user in operating the application program are improved.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, one or more setting controls may be provided in the setting application program of the electronic device, so as to support a user to set at least one group of objects, that is, to preset objects corresponding to the positions of the foreground-running application program and the bending region in the flexible screen.
For example, in a setting application program of the electronic device, an entry identifier of a setting interface of "arc screen shortcut setting" may be provided. After the user inputs the entry identifier, the electronic device may be triggered to display an application scene selection list, where the list includes scene options such as a game scene option, a video scene option, and a reading scene option. After a user inputs a scene option, the electronic device may be triggered to display an object selection list corresponding to the scene option, where the object selection list includes an identification of one or more objects (or shortcuts). Subsequently, after the user enters an identification of some objects in the object selection list (i.e., multi-selection or single-selection), the electronic device may display a "done" control on the screen, as well as a quantity identification indicating the number of objects selected. Wherein, in case that the number identifier is greater than or equal to a preset number (e.g. 5), the electronic device may display a prompt message to prompt the user that "the number of shortcut functions cannot be greater than 5, please reset". Subsequently, when the number of the objects selected by the user is smaller than a preset value, the user inputs the "completion" control, and the electronic device may be triggered to take the objects as the objects corresponding to the current application scene.
In addition, the electronic equipment can display a return control on the screen, and the return control is used for supporting a user to trigger the electronic equipment to return to the previous setting in the process of setting the object by inputting the return control.
According to the display control method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the electronic equipment supports the user to autonomously set the object corresponding to the application program running on the foreground and the position of the bending area in the flexible screen according to the requirement, so that the target object subsequently displayed in the bending area by the electronic equipment is the object required by the user.
