Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It is to be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not limiting of the invention. It should be further noted that, for the convenience of description, only some of the structures related to the present invention are shown in the drawings, not all of the structures.
Example one
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of thumbnail generation according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the embodiment is applicable to generating a thumbnail for a video, and the method may be executed by a thumbnail generation apparatus, where the apparatus may be implemented in a software and/or hardware manner, and referring to fig. 1, the method specifically includes the following steps:
s110, displaying a page on the video, and if the video sliding stopping operation is detected, determining the target video according to the stopping position of the page window.
The video display page comprises at least one video window file; the user may view different video files by sliding the progress bar of the video presentation page.
In this embodiment, when the video sliding stop operation is detected, the target video is determined according to the stop position of the window page. For example, referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a video presentation page, where the video presentation page includes two video windows, and if a current page window includes a video window 1 and a video window 2 when the video sliding stop operation is performed, the video window 1 and the video window 2 included in the current video presentation page are target videos.
And S120, determining the thumbnails of the target videos in sequence by adopting a preset rule.
The thumbnail of the target video is an image which is captured from a certain moment of the target video and is formed by zooming according to the specified size, and is used for displaying the content information of the target video.
If the current video display page contains at least one target video, thumbnail images are sequentially generated for the target videos from the first target video in the current video display page according to the sequencing order of the videos.
Specifically, the preset rule is a rule method for determining the thumbnail from the target video. Optionally, the target video may be segmented according to video scenes, and an image at a certain time is captured from the segmented video with the longest duration as a thumbnail of the target video. For example, an image at the middle moment of the segmented video with the longest duration can be intercepted as a thumbnail of the target video, and the video can better represent the content of the target video and has reference value for a user.
Optionally, the preset rule may also be configured to intercept images at different times according to the duration of the target video, and select an image with the highest resolution from the intercepted images as a thumbnail of the target video.
Further, before generating the thumbnail, the selected image needs to be scaled to a certain extent according to the designated size of the thumbnail to meet the generation requirement of the thumbnail.
S130, displaying the thumbnail as a cover picture of the target video in a video display page.
In this embodiment, after the thumbnail of the target video is generated, the thumbnail is displayed in the video display page as a cover image of the target video, so that the user can roughly know content information of the video through the thumbnails displayed in the video display page without opening the video browsing one by one.
According to the technical scheme, when the video sliding stop operation is detected on the video display page, the target video is determined according to the position where the page window stops, the thumbnails of the target video are sequentially determined according to the preset rule, the thumbnails are displayed in the video display page as cover pictures of the target video, when the video sliding stop operation is detected, the thumbnails are preferentially generated for the target video where the page window stops, when a large number of videos are used for rapidly sliding, the thumbnails of the current interface are timely provided for a user, and the use experience of the user is improved.
Further, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, after sequentially determining the thumbnails of the target videos by using preset rules, the method further includes:
establishing an incidence relation between a target video and a thumbnail;
and storing the thumbnail into a cache directory according to the association relation, and providing the thumbnail for the target video.
Specifically, after the thumbnail of the target video is generated, the association relationship between the target video and the corresponding generated thumbnail can be established through the unique identification information between the target video and the corresponding generated thumbnail, and then the thumbnail is stored in the cache directory, for example, the thumbnail can be stored in a designated folder of the video playing terminal. According to the method, when the user needs the thumbnail of the video for the second time, the thumbnail of the target video is directly obtained from the storage directory according to the incidence relation between the target video and the thumbnail without being generated again, and therefore the generation efficiency of the thumbnail of the target video is improved.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the method further includes:
if the video sliding stopping operation is detected and the thumbnail of the target video is determined to be generated, determining whether the video sliding through the video display page has a video to be loaded without the generated thumbnail;
if the video exists, generating thumbnails for the videos to be loaded in sequence according to the position relation between the videos to be loaded and the target video.
In this embodiment, if the sliding operation is detected, the generation of the thumbnail of the video is stopped, and the video sliding through the video display page in the sliding operation process has the video to be loaded without the thumbnail generated.
Specifically, if the video sliding stop operation is detected and the thumbnails of the target videos in the current video display page are all generated, the images to be loaded are sequentially loaded from the image to be loaded which is farthest from the target videos, and the thumbnails are generated for the loaded videos.
In the embodiment, the thumbnail is generated asynchronously, that is, the generation operation of the thumbnail is stopped when the video display page slides, when the video sliding stop operation is detected, the thumbnail is generated for the target video of the current page in advance, and after the generation of the target video thumbnail is completed, the thumbnails are sequentially generated for the videos to be loaded which slide in the video display page and have no generated thumbnail, so that the generation of other video thumbnails is ensured on the basis of updating the thumbnail of the current page in time.
Example two
Fig. 3 is a thumbnail generation method provided in the second embodiment of the present invention, and the second embodiment of the present invention further details S120 on the basis of the second embodiment. Referring to fig. 3, the method specifically includes:
s210, displaying a page on the video, and if the video sliding stopping operation is detected, determining the target video according to the stopping position of the page window.
And S220, loading the target video.
In this embodiment, after the target video is determined, the target video is loaded into the memory, so that the subsequently generated thumbnail is saved in the memory for the user to repeatedly use.
S230, at least two frames of video images are intercepted from the target video, and the thumbnail of the target video is determined from the at least two frames of video images.
Specifically, intercepting at least two frames of video images from the target video, and determining a thumbnail of the target video from the at least two frames of video images includes:
intercepting at least two frames of video images from the target video according to the total duration of the target video;
and taking the video image with the largest pixel value in the at least two frames of video images as a thumbnail of the target video.
For example, four images at times 1/5, 2/5, 3/5 and 4/5 of the total duration of the video may be respectively intercepted, and the video image with the largest pixel value among the four images may be taken as a thumbnail of the target video. The larger the pixel value of the image is, the clearer the pixel of the image is, the vivid color can better represent the content information of the video, and an effective reference is provided for the user.
S240, displaying the thumbnail as a cover picture of the target video in a video display page.
According to the technical scheme, the thumbnail generation method is provided by loading the target video, intercepting at least two video images from the target video and determining the thumbnail of the target video from at least two frames of video images.
