According to another aspect of the present application, there is also provided an apparatus, wherein the apparatus comprises:
one or more processors;
a computer-readable medium for storing one or more computer-readable instructions,
when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to implement a method of identifying the gender of a new user as described above.
Here, for details of each embodiment of the device for recommending novel notes, reference may be made to the corresponding part of the above method embodiment for identifying the gender of the new user, and details are not repeated here.
In summary, the method includes detecting a gender attribute of at least one application installed on user equipment corresponding to a new user in a reading application; and determining the gender of the new user in the reading application according to the gender attribute of the at least one application installed on the user equipment corresponding to the new user, so that the gender of the new user is judged and determined according to the gender attribute of the at least one application installed on the user equipment where the new user in the reading application is located, the purpose of judging the gender of the new user in the reading application is conveniently and quickly achieved, other operations of the new user are not needed, and the initial experience of the new user after entering the reading application is further improved.
It should be noted that the present application may be implemented in software and/or a combination of software and hardware, for example, implemented using Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), general purpose computers or any other similar hardware devices. In one embodiment, the software programs of the present application may be executed by a processor to implement the steps or functions described above. Likewise, the software programs (including associated data structures) of the present application may be stored in a computer readable recording medium, such as RAM memory, magnetic or optical drive or diskette and the like. Additionally, some of the steps or functions of the present application may be implemented in hardware, for example, as circuitry that cooperates with the processor to perform various steps or functions.
In addition, some of the present application may be implemented as a computer program product, such as computer program instructions, which when executed by a computer, may invoke or provide methods and/or techniques in accordance with the present application through the operation of the computer. Program instructions which invoke the methods of the present application may be stored on a fixed or removable recording medium and/or transmitted via a data stream on a broadcast or other signal bearing medium and/or stored in a working memory of a computer device operating in accordance with the program instructions. An embodiment according to the present application comprises an apparatus comprising a memory for storing computer program instructions and a processor for executing the program instructions, wherein the computer program instructions, when executed by the processor, trigger the apparatus to perform a method and/or a solution according to the aforementioned embodiments of the present application.
It will be evident to those skilled in the art that the present application is not limited to the details of the foregoing illustrative embodiments, and that the present application may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit or essential attributes thereof. The present embodiments are therefore to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, the scope of the application being indicated by the appended claims rather than by the foregoing description, and all changes which come within the meaning and range of equivalency of the claims are therefore intended to be embraced therein. Any reference sign in a claim should not be construed as limiting the claim concerned. Furthermore, it is obvious that the word "comprising" does not exclude other elements or steps, and the singular does not exclude the plural. A plurality of units or means recited in the apparatus claims may also be implemented by one unit or means in software or hardware. The terms first, second, etc. are used to denote names, but not any particular order.

Claims (7)

1. A method of identifying the gender of a new user, wherein,
the method comprises the following steps:
detecting a gender attribute of at least one application installed on user equipment corresponding to a new user in the reading application;
determining the gender of the new user in the reading application according to the gender attribute of the at least one application, including: calculating the number of male applications, the number of female applications and the number of neutral applications from the at least one application according to the gender attribute; determining that the gender of the new user is male if the number of male applications is greater than the number of female applications and the number of neutral applications; determining the gender of the new user as female if the number of female applications is greater than the number of male applications and the number of neutral applications; if the number of the neutral applications is larger than or equal to the number of the male applications and the number of the female applications, determining that the gender of the new user is an unknown gender;
when the gender of the new user is male, acquiring at least one male book pre-installed for the new male user on a bookshelf of the reading application;
when the gender of the new user is female, acquiring at least one female book pre-installed for the female new user on a bookshelf of the reading application;
when the gender of the new user is unknown, acquiring at least one book pre-installed on a bookshelf of the reading application for the new user with the unknown gender, wherein the at least one book comprises a male book and a female book;
the method further comprises the following steps:
acquiring a payment label of a channel user corresponding to the new user when the new user acquires the reading application through an application delivery channel, wherein the channel user and the new user are used for indicating the same user;
if the payment label of the channel user is a payment user, the number of payment books in books pre-installed for the new user on the bookshelf of the reading application is larger than that of free books;
and if the paid labels of the channel users are free users, the number of free books in books pre-installed for the new users on the bookshelf of the reading application is larger than that of paid books.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein,
the method further comprises the following steps: and when the books opened by the new user with the unknown gender continuously for the preset times are detected to be the books with the same gender, determining the gender corresponding to the books with the same gender as the gender of the new user.
3. The method of claim 2, wherein,
the method further comprises the following steps:
acquiring book reading behavior information of the new user with the unknown gender in a book city of the reading application;
and analyzing the book reading behavior information to determine the gender of the new user with the unknown gender.
4. The method of claim 2 or 3,
the method further comprises the following steps:
and switching the books of the at least one book pre-installed on the bookshelf of the reading application for the new user of the unknown gender, wherein the books are opposite to the gender of the new user, into the books of the same gender as the gender of the new user.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein,
when the gender of the new user is unknown, acquiring at least one book pre-installed on a bookshelf of the reading application for the new user with the unknown gender, wherein the at least one book comprises a male book and a female book, and the method comprises the following steps: calculating the sex ratio of the existing users in the reading application;
determining the male and female book proportion of the at least one book pre-installed for the new user with the unknown gender on the bookshelf of the reading application according to the male and female gender proportion of the existing user;
acquiring a list attention degree of an existing male book and a list attention degree of an existing female book in the reading application; and determining the identification information of the male books and the identification information of the female books in the at least one book according to the proportion of the male books and the female books and the list attention degree.
6. A computer readable medium having computer readable instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to implement the method of any one of claims 1 to 5.
7. A computer device, wherein the device comprises:
one or more processors;
a computer-readable medium for storing one or more computer-readable instructions,
when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to implement the method of any one of claims 1-5.
