Abstract
The invention relates to an upgrading method of convergence gateway equipment, wherein the convergence gateway equipment comprises a gateway module and a set top box module, the gateway module and the set top box module carry out data interaction through an interaction system, and the method comprises the following steps: packaging the upgrade package of the gateway module into the upgrade package of the set-top box module to generate a uniform upgrade package; the unified upgrade package is utilized to carry out system upgrade on the set top box module; acquiring the current version information of the gateway module and the upgrading version information in the upgrading packet of the gateway module; and carrying out system upgrading on the gateway module. According to the invention, only one uniform upgrade package is needed to be generated, and the gateway module and the set top box module in the converged gateway device can be automatically and respectively upgraded, so that the management and control of an operator on an upgrade version and the upgrade of a user on the device are greatly facilitated, the management efficiency of the operator is improved, and the use experience of the user is improved.

Background
The convergence gateway device, especially the household convergence gateway device, generally comprises two independent modules, namely a gateway device and a set-top box, and is integrated on the same main board, wherein the two modules are relatively independent systems and work in cooperation.
