Description

Live multimedia playback method, device and system
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of internet, in particular to a live multimedia playback method, a live multimedia playback device and a live multimedia playback system.
Background
With the development of multimedia data services and internet technologies, live and on-demand multimedia transmission modes are gradually and widely applied, and a more common multimedia transmission protocol is http-flv. In the live broadcast service, users receive real-time multimedia data, and the live broadcast server generally does not store multimedia contents. The multimedia content in the on-demand service is fixed, the user can select which multimedia to order, and the multimedia content for the on-demand service is stored at the server side.
The live broadcast streaming media review is different from live broadcast and on-demand broadcast. When the live streaming media looks back to the streaming media content before the current time, new data at the current time is generated continuously. When the time point of the review is zero relative to the current time, the live streaming review and the live broadcast are synchronized.
The existing multimedia playback function is generally implemented in two ways:
firstly, a central storage edge distribution mode is adopted. After the edge server receives the replay request of the client, the edge server acquires the multimedia content corresponding to the replay request from the central server, and sends the multimedia content to the client according to the replay starting time point in the replay request. Because the replay time points of each user are different, the edge server does not store the multimedia content, but pulls the multimedia content from the central server aiming at each user, the data transmission bandwidth from the edge server to the central server is the same as the data transmission bandwidth from the client to the edge server, the processing pressure of the central server is higher, and the resource internal consumption is higher.
Secondly, with the edge storage and distribution method, multiple edge servers are required to store the same full amount of data. In the whole network, a streaming media server for playback needs to be specially deployed, the streaming media server for playback needs to store the same playback multimedia data, so that the server overhead is too large, and when a service suddenly increases, hardware cannot freely and transversely expand capacity, and a newly added server needs to reserve enough time to store the playback multimedia data.
Of the two methods, the first method has a large processing pressure on the central server and high resource internal consumption, and the second method essentially piles machines at the edge of the network, which consumes a large amount of operation cost and has poor expansibility.

FIG. 1 is a flow chart of a live multimedia playback method in an embodiment;
fig. 2 is a block diagram of a live multimedia playback apparatus in an embodiment.
Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention. It should be noted that the embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present application may be arbitrarily combined with each other without conflict.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a live multimedia playback method in an embodiment, where the method is applied to an edge server, and includes:
step 101, receiving a multimedia playback request sent by a client, wherein the multimedia playback request comprises a multimedia identifier and a playback starting time point;
step 102, determining multimedia data index information corresponding to a multimedia identifier, wherein the multimedia data index information comprises slice file index information of all slice files of a multimedia corresponding to the multimedia identifier within a first preset time from the current time, and the slice file index information comprises a slice file identifier, a timestamp and playing information;
step 103, determining a slice file identifier corresponding to a playback start time point;
step 104, taking the slice file corresponding to the slice file identifier corresponding to the playback start time point as a start slice file, and acquiring a slice file sequence taking the start slice file as a first file;
step 105, sending the sequence of slice files to the client.
The slice file in the method is a file which is segmented according to multimedia and has the length of one or more GOPs. The multimedia is divided into the slicing files for convenient transmission and buffering, when the multimedia is divided into the slicing files, the slicing files are divided by integral multiple of GOPs, the slicing files requested from any one can be ensured to start playing, and the smaller the number of GOPs contained in each slicing file is, the more accurate the searching of playback time points is. Each slice file has an identification.
When the multimedia is divided into the slice files, slice file index information is generated for each slice file, the slice file index information comprises a slice file identifier, a timestamp and playing information, and the playing information is necessary information for successfully playing the slice file. Compared with the slice file, the data volume of the slice file index information is much smaller, and the edge server acquires the slice file index information or caches the slice file index information, so that the access volume to the multimedia data storage subsystem can be reduced.
The multimedia of the method can refer to a multimedia program on a broadcast channel, and the mode for a multimedia data storage party to acquire a multimedia file comprises two modes, one mode is to fixedly pull the data of a certain channel or certain channels for storage, the other mode is to dynamically pull the data of the certain channel or certain channels for storage, and generally, the data needs to be played back for storage when the multimedia program exists in the certain channel.
Wherein the content of the first and second substances,
the first preset time period in step 102 is a parameter that can be modified, for example, the first preset time period is 1 day, and can be modified to 12 hours after the user's requirement changes.
The step 102 of determining the multimedia data index information corresponding to the multimedia identifier includes:
judging whether the edge server caches multimedia data index information corresponding to the multimedia identifier or not;
when the edge server caches the multimedia data index information corresponding to the multimedia identifier, the edge server acquires the multimedia data index information corresponding to the multimedia identifier from the cache of the edge server;
and when the edge server does not cache the multimedia data index information corresponding to the multimedia identifier, the edge server acquires the multimedia data index information corresponding to the multimedia identifier from a multimedia data storage party and caches the multimedia data index information.
The multimedia data storage party is a set of one or more of the following:
the system comprises a central server, a distributed cloud storage network and a block chain network.
Step 103 also determines a termination time point and a termination slice file, the termination time point being one of the following:
taking the time point of disconnection of the multimedia playback request sent by the client received in the step 101 as the playback ending time point;
and taking the time point after a second preset time (for example, 1 hour) after the disconnection requesting time point as a termination time point.
In step 103, the slice file corresponding to the slice file identifier corresponding to the playback end time point is used as an end slice file, and the slice file sequence taking the start slice file as the first slice file is a file sequence taking the start slice file as the start file and taking the end slice file as the end file.
The step 104 of obtaining a slice file sequence with the start slice file as a first slice file includes:
judging whether the edge server stores a slice file sequence taking the initial slice file as a first slice file or not;
when the edge server stores all or part of the slice files in a slice file sequence taking the initial slice file as a first slice file, acquiring all or part of the slice files from a memory of the edge server;
and when the edge server does not store all or part of the slice files in the slice file sequence taking the initial slice file as the first slice file, acquiring all or part of the slice files from the multimedia data storage side and storing the slice files.
When the edge server stores a slice file sequence taking the starting slice file as the starting file, the edge server can only store the starting slice file for a period of time, and after a fixed time or a latest preset time period, the edge server does not receive a playback request aiming at the slice file in the slice file sequence, and deletes the stored slice file sequence.
The method has the following advantages:
1. the edge server obtains all or newly generated multimedia data index information from the multimedia data storage party, so that the edge server can respond to the replay request corresponding to the multimedia at any time.
2. The edge server caches the multimedia data index information, and can directly acquire the multimedia data index information from local without frequently acquiring the multimedia data index information from a multimedia data storage party when receiving playback requests of different starting time points, so that the processing pressure of the multimedia data storage party can be effectively reduced, and the resource consumption is reduced.
3. The edge server stores the requested slice file, and can directly obtain the slice file from the local place when receiving the replay request without frequently obtaining the slice file from the multimedia data storage party, thereby effectively reducing the processing pressure of the multimedia data storage party and reducing the resource consumption.
