The detection unit 18 includes a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, and a water temperature sensor. The temperature sensor detects the temperature in the room on which the washing machine 10 is mounted. The humidity sensor detects the humidity in the room on which the washing machine 10 is mounted. The water temperature sensor detects the temperature of water (e.g., tap water) supplied to the washing machine 10. When the detection unit 18 receives a request from the control unit 20, the temperature, humidity, and water temperature in the room are supplied to the control unit 20 in response to the request.
The washing tub unit 30 includes a washing tub 32 and a reading part 34. The washing tub 32 has a bottomed cylindrical shape with an opening. The washing tub 32 is inclined with respect to the vertical direction. In the modification, the washing tub 32 may be disposed in the vertical direction. The washing tub 32 is supported to be rotatable with respect to the housing 12. The washing tub 32 accommodates laundry put into the casing 12, and performs a washing process including washing, rinsing, and dehydration, and a drying process. The washing tub 32 is rotated with respect to the housing 12 by a motor. The motor is driven according to a signal obtained from the control unit 20, and rotates the washing tub 32. In the drying process, the clothes in the washing tub 32 are dried by a fan and a compressor, which are not shown.
The reader unit 34 includes a reader capable of reading an RF tag (hereinafter, simply referred to as "tag") of an RFID (Radio Frequency identification) system. The reading unit 34 reads a tag attached to laundry placed in the washing tub 32. The laundry 400 as a washing object is provided with labels 402, respectively. The label 402 records clothes information including the type and material of the clothes 400. The reading unit 34 transmits the read laundry information to the control unit 20. The categories of the garment 400 show, for example, "shirt", "half-sleeved T-shirt", "dress", etc. The material includes cotton, chemical fiber and other materials and their proportion.
The communication module 40 is provided with a communication interface for connecting the washing machine 10 to the internet 100, for example, a LAN (Local Area Network) interface. The control unit 20 performs communication with the information providing server 200 and the mobile terminal 300 on the internet 100 via the communication module 40.
The control unit 20 includes a CPU and memories such as RAM and ROM. The control unit 20 connects the units 14, 16, 18, 30, and 40 to each other in a controllable manner by wiring not shown. The control unit 20 stores a computer program for controlling the respective units 14, 16, 18, 30, and 40 of the washing machine 10 in a memory. The control unit 20 executes various processes including a washing and drying process, which will be described later, by using a CPU and a memory.
As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the control unit 20 stores a time database 22 and a kind database 24 in advance. Each database 22, 24 is stored in advance by, for example, a manufacturer of the washing machine 10. The control unit 20 can store user information set by the user. The control unit 20 also stores in advance a table or the like necessary for various processes including a cleaning and drying process described later. These tables and the like will be described later as necessary.
The period database 22 has recorded therein, in association therewith: the weight of the clothes 400 made of 100% chemical fiber, the washing period, and the drying period; and the weight of the laundry 400, the washing process period, and the drying process period when the material of the laundry 400 is 100% cotton.
The type, material, and estimated weight of the clothing 400 are recorded in association with each other in the type database 24. For example, when the type of clothing 400 is "long-sleeved shirt", 2 materials are associated with each other. When the type of clothing 400 is "long-sleeved shirt", control unit 20 determines the estimated weight from the material. As described above, a plurality of materials and estimated weights may be recorded in association with each other for 1 garment 400.
(initial setting)
The user can set user information by operating the mobile terminal 300 or the operation unit 16. In the case of using the mobile terminal 300, the user connects the mobile terminal 300 to the washing machine 10 via the internet 100, thereby setting the user information input to the mobile terminal 300 to the washing machine 10. When the operation unit 16 is used, the user inputs user information by operating the operation unit 16. Thereby, the user information is set. The user information includes: the washing information and address (i.e., the installation area of the washing machine 10) including the types of detergents and softeners used by the user during washing. In the modification, the user may register the user information in the information providing server 200. In this case, washing machine 10 may acquire user information from information providing server 200 as needed.
(cleaning and drying treatment)
Next, referring to fig. 3, a washing and drying process performed by the washing machine 10 will be described. When the power switch of the washing machine 10 is switched from off to on by the user, the washing and drying process is started. Further, the user can put the laundry 400 into the washing tub 32 before switching the power switch of the washing machine 10 on.
In the cleaning and drying process, first, in S12, the control unit 20 acquires server-side climate information via the internet 100. The server-side climate information includes outdoor temperature information indicating outdoor temperature of the area where the washing machine 10 is installed (i.e., the area of the user's address), outdoor humidity information indicating outdoor humidity, precipitation probability information indicating outdoor precipitation probability, and scattered object information indicating the amount of scattered objects (e.g., pollen, yellow sand, etc.) outside the room. The control unit 20 transmits a signal requesting server-side climate information to the information providing server 200. The request signal includes information indicating an address included in the user information. Upon receiving the request signal, the information providing server 200 transmits the server-side climate information to the washing machine 10.
Next, in S14, the control unit 20 acquires the washing machine side climate information. Specifically, control unit 20 causes detection unit 18 to detect indoor air temperature information indicating the indoor air temperature in which washing machine 10 is installed and indoor humidity information indicating the indoor humidity. The detection unit 18 supplies the control unit 20 with the washing machine side climate information including the detected indoor air temperature information and the detected indoor humidity information.
Next, in S16, control unit 20 acquires the laundry information. Specifically, the control unit 20 causes the reading unit 34 to read the laundry information. The reading unit 34 reads the tag 402 of one or more clothes 400 stored in the washing tub 32, and supplies the read clothes information to the control unit 20.
Next, in S18, the control unit 20 specifies history information stored in the control unit 20. The history information is information stored in the control unit 20 at S30 described later, and is a combination of the cleaning information, each of the information at S12 to S16, and the cleaning program and the drying method selected by the user at S26 described later.
Next, in S20, the control unit 20 determines a cleaning program for executing the cleaning process. Specifically, control unit 20 determines the washing program using the laundry information acquired in S16, the history information specified in S18, and the washing information stored in control unit 20. Control unit 20 determines the intensity of the washing process using the material of laundry 400 obtained from the laundry information and the type of laundry 400. For example, the control unit 20 selects the program from a standard program, a gentle program having a lower intensity than the standard program, and a strong program having a higher intensity than the standard program, with respect to the intensity of the cleaning process. In the modification, the intensity may be selected for each of washing, rinsing, and dewatering included in the cleaning process. Here, it may be difficult to determine the intensity of one washing process depending on the material of the laundry 400 and the type of the laundry 400. For example, if the laundry information includes the type of laundry 400 to be lightly treated and the type of laundry 400 that is easily soiled, it cannot be determined whether the intensity of the cleaning process should be increased or decreased. In this case, the control unit 20 determines the intensity of the cleaning process using the history information, that is, based on the cleaning program and the drying method selected by the user in the past.
Further, control unit 20 estimates the weight of laundry 400 stored in tub 32 using the material of laundry 400 and the type of laundry 400 obtained from the laundry information, and type database 24 stored in control unit 20. Thus, the control unit 20 determines the amount of water used for the cleaning process. Next, the controller 20 specifies the cleaning process period for 100% chemical fiber and 100% cotton from the estimated weight and period database 22. Next, the control unit 20 determines the ratio of chemical fibers to cotton of the laundry 400 stored in the washing tub 32 using the material of the laundry 400 in the laundry information. Thus, the cleaning process period is determined. For example, when the ratio of chemical fiber to cotton in the laundry 400 stored in the tub 32 is 2: 1, (the period of cleaning treatment in the case of 100% chemical fiber × the period of cleaning treatment in the case of 100% cotton)/3 is calculated, and the period of cleaning treatment is determined.
Next, in S22, the control unit 20 determines the drying method. The drying method includes a method of using a drying process performed by the washing machine 10, a method of airing in a room outside the washing machine 10, and a method of airing in the room outside. The control unit 20 first determines whether or not the drying process can be executed. The control unit 20 determines whether or not the drying process is to be executed based on the material. Specifically, the control unit 20 stores a table in which the laundry information and the information indicating whether or not the drying process can be executed are combined and recorded in advance. The control unit 20 determines whether or not the drying process can be executed, using the acquired laundry information and the table. For example, when the laundry information combined with the information indicating that the drying process cannot be executed and recorded in the table is included in one or more pieces of laundry information, the control unit 20 may determine that the drying process cannot be executed. In the modification, information on whether or not the drying process can be executed may be recorded in the tag 402. The control unit 20 may determine whether or not the drying process is executable using information on whether or not the drying process is executable. If the drying process can be executed, the control unit 20 determines the drying process period using the weight of the laundry 400 estimated in S20, the chemical fiber-cotton ratio of the laundry 400, and the period database 22. The decision during the drying process is the same as that during the cleaning process of S20.
Next, the control unit 20 determines the drying period of the method of drying in the room using the washing machine side climate information and the laundry information determined in S14. The control unit 20 determines whether or not the method of drying outdoors can be executed using the server-side climate information acquired in S12. For example, the control unit 20 determines that the method of drying outdoors cannot be performed when the probability of precipitation outdoors is relatively high (for example, 40% or more), and determines that the method of drying outdoors can be performed when the probability of precipitation is relatively low. For example, when the amount of the scattered matter is relatively large (for example, when the amount of the pollen is larger than a predetermined reference), the control unit 20 determines that the method of drying the pollen outdoors cannot be performed.
If it is determined that the method of drying outdoors can be performed, the drying period of the method of drying outdoors is estimated using the server-side climate information and the laundry information acquired in S12.
Next, in S24, the washing program determined in S20, the drying method determined in S22, and the period of the drying method are displayed on the display unit 14. In the display unit 14, for example, "standard program/water amount V liter" is displayed as the cleaning program, and "drying treatment: x hours "," outdoor air drying: y hours "," indoor drying: z hours ". In the case where at least one of the drying process and the outdoor drying is determined to be impossible to perform in the drying method, the drying method determined to be impossible to perform and the period thereof are not displayed. In the modification, the content indicating that the drying method cannot be executed may be displayed on the display unit 14 for the drying method determined to be impossible to execute.
Next, in S26, the control unit 20 monitors the user performing the selection completion operation on the operation unit 16. The user can select one drying method from the drying methods displayed in S24. The user performs a drying selection operation whether to select a drying method based on the drying process. In addition, the user can perform a program change operation for changing the cleaning program. In the program changing operation, for example, the intensity of the cleaning process (for example, a change from the standard program to a gentle program having a lower intensity than the standard program) and the water amount can be changed. If all the selection operations are completed, the user performs a predetermined selection end operation.
If the selection completion operation is performed (yes in S26), control unit 20 executes the cleaning process in S28. In S28, if the drying process is selected in S26, the controller 20 executes the drying process following the cleaning process. When the washing process and the drying process in the case of being executed are completed in S28, the control unit 20 stores the server-side climate information acquired in S12, the washing machine-side climate information detected in S14, the laundry information read in S16, the washing information, and the history information including the washing program and the drying method selected in S26 in S30 in the control unit 20, and then the washing and drying process is completed.
(Effect)
The washing machine 10 estimates the drying period using the server-side climate information, the washing machine-side climate information, and the laundry information. According to this configuration, the drying period can be appropriately estimated in consideration of the amount, material, temperature, room temperature, and the like of the laundry 400.
In addition to the drying process performed by the washing machine 10, the washing machine 10 estimates a drying period for each of the drying methods including the method of drying in the air outdoors and the method of drying in the air indoors. With this configuration, the user can select the optimum drying method for the user by confirming the drying period from among the plurality of drying methods.
The washing machine 10 determines a washing course using the washing information and the laundry information. With this configuration, the user does not have to decide the cleaning program. In addition, the washing machine 10 allows the user to change the determined washing course. With this configuration, the washing program can be adjusted by the user to cause the washing machine 10 to execute a desired washing process.
The washing machine 10 stores history information, and determines a washing program and a drying method using the history information. With this configuration, the user can specify the cleaning program and the drying method in consideration of the cleaning program and the drying method selected in the past.

The control unit 20 that executes the processing of S12, S14, and S16 is an example of the "dry information acquisition unit", and the control unit 20 that executes the processing of S22 is an example of the "period estimation unit". The control unit 20 that executes the processing of S26 is an example of the "selection permission unit", the control unit 20 that executes the processing of S20 is an example of the "cleaning information acquisition unit" and the "program determination unit", and the control unit 20 that executes the processing of S30 is the "storage unit".
While several embodiments of the present invention have been described, these embodiments have been presented by way of example and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These embodiments can be implemented in other various ways, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention.
(1) In the above-described embodiment, the control unit 20 acquires the server-side climate information from the information providing server 200. However, the control unit 20 may acquire at least one piece of server-side climate information from the mobile terminal 300.
(2) In the above-described embodiment, the washing machine 10 is an example of a "laundry treating apparatus". However, the "laundry treating apparatus" may not perform the washing process. That is, the "laundry treatment apparatus" may be a dryer that can perform only a drying process. In this case, the controller 20 of the dryer may execute only at least one of the processes S12 to S16 and the drying processes S22 and S28 in the cleaning and drying process of fig. 3.
(3) In the above-described embodiment, the server-side climate information, the washing machine-side climate information, and the laundry information are examples of "drying information". However, the "drying information" may also contain at least one of server-side climate information, washing machine-side climate information, and laundry information. In this case, the control unit 20 may execute at least one of the processes from S12 to S16.
(4) In the above-described embodiment, the control unit 20 estimates the drying period for each of the plurality of drying methods. However, the control unit 20 may estimate only the period of the drying process performed in the washing machine 10. Alternatively, control unit 20 may estimate a drying period performed in a drying chamber (e.g., a room having an air conditioner or a drying device) outside washing machine 10. In this case, the control unit 20 may acquire information on the temperature and humidity of the drying chamber. In the present modification, the information on the temperature and humidity of the drying chamber is an example of "drying information".
(5) In the initial setting, the washing information set in advance by the user may include the family configuration of the user, a living schedule (for example, at home time), and the like. The control unit 20 may determine the cleaning program and the drying method in consideration of these pieces of information.
(6) In the above-described embodiment, control unit 20 estimates the weight of laundry 400 as laundry information. However, control unit 20 may estimate the weight of laundry 400 and the capacity of laundry 400, or may estimate the capacity of laundry 400 instead of the weight of laundry 400. In this case, the control unit 20 may store the databases 22 and 24 and the database capable of estimating the capacity, or may store the database capable of estimating the capacity instead of the databases 22 and 24.
(7) In the above-described embodiment, the control section 20 infers the weight of the laundry 400 by reading the tag 402. However, the method of obtaining the weight of laundry 400 is not limited to this, and a weight sensor may be disposed in washing machine 10, and control unit 20 may estimate the weight based on the load applied to the motor when washing tub 32 is rotated, or may input the weight by the user. In this case, the clothing article 400 may not be provided with the label 402.
(8) In the above-described embodiment, various information stored in the control unit 20 may be stored in an external device (for example, the information providing server 200) connected to the washing machine 10 so as to be communicable. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the databases 22 and 24 stored in advance in the control unit 20 may be stored in the information providing server 200. The control unit 20 may communicate various information with an external device as necessary. With this configuration, the memory of the control unit 20 can be saved in capacity.
(9) In the above embodiment, the label 402 records the clothes information including the type and material of the clothes 400. However, identification information (for example, a character string unique to the clothing 400) for identifying the clothing 400 may be stored in the tag 402. In this case, the control unit 20 may acquire the clothing information corresponding to the identification information via the memory in the control unit 20 or the internet 100 using the identification information acquired from the tag 402.
(10) In the above-described embodiment, the detection unit 18 detects climate information such as the temperature in the room on which the washing machine 10 is mounted. However, the detection unit 18 may be provided with a temperature sensor or the like disposed separately from the washing machine 10. For example, when the washing machine 10 is installed in a bathroom, the temperature sensor of the detection unit 18 may be installed in a room used for indoor drying, such as a living room or a bedroom. In this case, the temperature sensor or the like may be connected to the control unit 20 via the communication module 40 so as to be communicable. The detection unit 18 may detect the temperature, humidity, and the like of a room used for indoor drying and transmit the detected values to the control unit 20.
(11) The control unit 20 may change the control of the dehydration included in the cleaning process according to the drying method determined in S22. For example, the strength of dehydration can be improved in the case of a drying method in which drying is carried out indoors as compared with a drying method in which drying is carried out outdoors. Alternatively, the dehydration period may be longer in the case of a drying method in which drying is carried out indoors as compared with a drying method in which drying is carried out outdoors. In this case, the respective processes of washing and rinsing may be performed in accordance with the drying method without changing the intensity or duration.
These embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are also included in the scope and equivalents of the invention described in the claims.
