The invention relates to a method and a system for printing patterns on cigarette frame paper, and relates to the field of printing technology. The method comprises the following steps: s1, acquiring a frame paper outline drawing; s2, acquiring a first printing pattern; s3, generating a positioning cursor according to the first printing pattern and the frame paper outline drawing; s4, combining the positioning cursor with the first printed pattern to obtain a second printed pattern containing the positioning cursor; and S5, printing the second printing pattern on a printing material. After a positioning cursor 6 is added, the printing material is easier to successfully position when being subjected to positioning die cutting, so that the speed of positioning die cutting is increased.
Optionally, in some other embodiments, step S3 specifically includes:
s31, generating a positioning cursor 6 according to the first printing pattern and the frame paper outline;
s32: when the cursor color of the positioning cursor 6 is checked and the cursor color does not reach the preset condition, step S31 is re-executed, where the preset condition in this embodiment may be that the color detection value of the cursor color is greater than 800, and the detection mode of the cursor color in this embodiment may be that a CZ-V21A (P) amplifier and a CZ-H37S photosensitive head are used to detect the cursor color.
