Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and a system for restricting international roaming.
Background
Voice over WiFi (also called WiFi calling) is an intelligent terminal with a VoWiFi capability used by a user, and can perform Voice and video calls in a traditional dialing mode in a Wi-Fi environment. VoWiFi is a voice service provided over an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network through Wi-Fi access.
When the user uses the VoWiFi service, the terminal accesses the home IMS network through the WiFi network at the location via the Internet, so that roaming settlement fees (such as international roaming scenes) are not generated, the roaming service cost is reduced, and operators can provide cheaper international roaming service conveniently. The user can select whether to sign a VoWiFi roaming service, and when the user does not sign a VoWiFi international roaming service, the operator needs to impose the VoWiFi service roaming limit on the user.
In the prior art, roaming restriction for a user can be realized by distinguishing a trusted WLAN from a non-trusted WLAN: and when the user accesses the non-trusted WLAN, the user is limited to use the VoWiFi. However, this solution has the following drawbacks: when the user accesses the trusted network through the proxy server, for example, the user does not sign the VoWiFi international roaming service, but accesses the trusted network through the proxy server, the operator cannot identify and limit the use of the VoWiFi roaming service.

In each embodiment of the invention, the terminal and the CSCF carry out information interaction through the SBC.
In this embodiment, when the terminal is located abroad, the service registration message is sent to the CSCF.
In this embodiment, the service type may include VoWiFi or VoLTE, and the terminal access state may include a cellular network mode or a non-cellular network mode, where the non-cellular network mode may be an airplane mode.
In this embodiment, the service registration message may be a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message, where a "service-type" in a "contact" field in the service registration message indicates a service type, and a "access-state" in the "contact" field in the service registration message indicates a terminal access state. Wherein, the "service-type" may be VoWiFi or VoLTE, and the "access-state" is cellular network mode (cellular) or non-cellular network mode (non-cellular).
Further, step 201 is followed by: CSCF sends 401 authentication response to terminal; the terminal sends a service registration message carrying the authentication information to the CSCF and continues to perform step 202.
In this embodiment, if the CSCF verifies that the account and the password are incorrect, and rejects the service registration message of the terminal, step 203 is executed. Wherein the registration error message may be a 404 response message.
In this embodiment, if the CSCF determines that the service type is VoWiFi, step 205 is executed; if the CSCF determines that the service type is VoLTE, step 214 is executed.
In this embodiment, if the CSCF determines that the terminal access state is the cellular network mode, step 206 is executed; if the CSCF determines that the access status of the terminal is in the non-cellular network mode (i.e., the flight mode), step 207 is executed.
Optionally, step 206 comprises: CSCF inquires the signed VoWiFi roaming service of the service number of the terminal from the Home Subscriber Server (HSS for short); CSCF obtains VLR information of VLR accessed by terminal from HSS through roaming state server; the CSCF determines whether the preset first roaming address base includes VLR information, if it is determined that the preset first roaming address base includes VLR information, performs step 208, and if it is determined that the preset first roaming address base does not include VLR information, performs step 209. Under the condition, the user signs the VoWiFi roaming service, and the terminal is in a roaming state. In this embodiment, the first roaming address base includes VLR information corresponding to the roaming area.
In this embodiment, the CSCF acquiring, from the HSS, VLR information of a VLR to which the terminal is accessed through the roaming state server may specifically include: CSCF sends a first VLR acquisition request to the roaming state server according to the service number of the terminal, the first VLR acquisition request is the request of DIAMETER protocol; the roaming state server converts the first VLR acquisition request into a second VLR acquisition request, wherein the second VLR acquisition request is a request of an MAP protocol; the roaming state server sends a second VLR acquisition request to the HLR; HLR returns VLR information of VLR accessed by the terminal to the roaming state server, wherein the VLR information is information of MAP protocol; the roaming state server converts the VLR information of the MAP protocol into VLR information of the DIAMETER protocol; the roaming state server sends the VLR information to the CSCF. In this case, the user signs a VoWiFi service (a VoWiFi roaming service or a VoWiFi non-roaming service), and the terminal is in a non-roaming state. In summary, in this embodiment, the roaming state server is configured to connect to the HLR through the MAP interface and connect to the CSCF through the DIAMETER interface, so as to complete the query and return of VLR information when the terminal accesses the cellular network.

It should be noted that: and if the CSCF acquires the VLR information of the VLR accessed by the terminal from the HSS through the roaming state server, the CSCF allows the VoWiFi service of the terminal to be registered.
Optionally, the service registration message further includes location information, step 207 includes: CSCF inquires the HSS about the signed VoWiFi roaming service of the service number of the terminal; the CSCF determines whether the preset second roaming address base includes the location information, if it is determined that the preset second roaming address base includes the location information, step 208 is performed, and if it is determined that the preset second roaming address base does not include the location information, step 209 is performed. Under the condition, the user signs the VoWiFi roaming service, and the terminal is in a roaming state. In this embodiment, the second roaming address base includes location information corresponding to the roaming area.
Optionally, the service registration message further includes location information, step 207 includes: CSCF inquires out the business number of the terminal from HSS without signing VoWiFi roaming business; the CSCF determines whether the preset second roaming address base includes the location information, if it is determined that the preset second roaming address base includes the location information, step 209 is performed, and if it is determined that the preset second roaming address base does not include the location information, step 208 is performed. In this case, the user signs a VoWiFi service (a VoWiFi roaming service or a VoWiFi non-roaming service), and the terminal is in a non-roaming state. In this embodiment, the second domestic address base includes location information corresponding to a domestic area.
In this embodiment, the location information includes GPS location information, and the GPS location information is latitude and longitude information. Therefore, when the CSCF determines that the terminal access status is the non-cellular network mode, the user needs to start GPS positioning.

In this step, the registration message is allowed to be a 200OK response message.
Step 212, the MMTel AS sends a registration success message to the CSCF, and the process ends.
In this embodiment, if the registration is successful, a registration success message is sent to the CSCF. In this step, the registration success message is a 200OK response message.
