The following describes in detail embodiments of the present invention from the perspective of a client and the perspective of a server.
First, from the perspective of the client, detailed descriptions are provided for specific embodiments of the live application program starting method and apparatus according to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, in one embodiment, a method for starting a live application includes the steps of:
and S101, sending a live application program starting request to a server.
The live application is an application that can be live, such as tiger's App. The live application start request is a request generated when a user opens the live application. In view of that the content of interest to the user is generally relatively fixed, and it is not necessary to display a guide page each time the live application program is started, therefore, optionally, the live application program start request in this embodiment is a request generated when a new user starts the live application program for the first time, where the new user includes a user who reinstalls the live application program after uninstalling the live application program or a user who restarts the live application program after cleaning data of the live application program. Further, the live application start request in this embodiment is a request generated when a new user first cold starts the live application.
S102, receiving a plurality of item labels which are fed back by the server and related to live broadcast.
The categories refer to the categories of live videos, and each category of live video corresponds to one category label. After receiving a live broadcast application program starting request, the server reads a plurality of pre-stored item labels related to live broadcast and issues the labels to the client.
The server stores a plurality of item labels related to live broadcast in a plurality of generation modes, for example, the server analyzes a latest item with a high click rate according to data feedback of a live broadcast application program to generate a corresponding item label, or analyzes an item with a high number of comments to generate a corresponding item label, and the like.
In order to avoid that the normal use of the live application program is affected because the client is always in the process of acquiring the item labels due to network faults and the like, optionally, the item label acquisition time can be set, and if the item labels are failed to be issued by the server, namely the item labels cannot be acquired within the preset time, the guide page is not generated and displayed, and the live application program home page is directly entered. Or, a default item label can be configured locally, and when the server fails to issue the item label, the local default item label is displayed.
S103, generating a guide page containing a plurality of item labels, wherein the guide page is used for guiding a user to select interested item labels from the plurality of item labels so as to recommend corresponding live video.
After receiving a plurality of article labels, generating a guide page according to a certain rule, wherein each article label is displayed in the guide page, and a user can select the article label of interest through the guide page, so that the user can watch the live video corresponding to the article label of interest subsequently.
And S104, displaying the guide page.
The welcome page is displayed when a general live application program is started for the first time, and the guide page can be displayed after the welcome page is displayed. After the user starts the live application program, in the process of loading the guide page for the first time, loading animation can be set to remind the user that the type label is currently acquired from the server to generate the guide page. The specific form of the loading animation can be set according to actual needs. In addition, the existing mode in the prior art can be adopted to optimize the loading animation effect of the starting page, for example, the fluency of the loading circle in rotation is increased, and after the loading is successful, the loading circle is slightly enlarged and the guiding page is displayed.
The display format of the article label can be set according to actual needs. For example, the item label is displayed in a format of background + text (i.e., the name of the item label), the background is a medium carrying the text, the shape of the item label may be circular, oval or rectangular, and the like, and different background colors may be set for the respective item labels. In addition, the article label can have a little floating effect when being displayed.
Considering that when the number of item labels is large, if the item labels are displayed in only one page, the display size of each item label is possibly too small, which is inconvenient for a user to select or causes wrong selection, so that the item labels can be displayed through a plurality of pages, and the user can view more item labels through left, right, up or down sliding. The multiple item labels are displayed in a paging mode, and the mode of checking the hidden item labels in a sliding mode can be realized according to the existing mode in the prior art.
In addition, besides displaying the item labels to be selected, other contents can be displayed according to actual needs in the guide page. For example, taking the tiger App as an example, the guidance page may also display: the icon of the tiger-tooth sister and the file prompt 'welcome to the tiger-tooth and select favorite contents'. It should be understood that this manner of icon + case prompt is only used for example, and the user may also display only the icon or the case prompt as needed, and the text content of the case prompt is not limited to the above example.
And if the user abnormally closes the live App after the guide page is displayed, continuing to display the guide page when the live App is started next time. If the user has selected the item tag of interest or elects to skip selecting the item tag of interest, the live App is not presented the next time it is started. The implementation process of the logic can be as follows: and judging whether the home page of the live App is entered, if the home page of the live App is displayed, the guide page is not displayed, otherwise, the guide page is displayed.
According to the method and the device, the guide page can be displayed after the live application program is started, the user can select the interested item labels in the guide page according to personalized needs, and the subsequently recommended live videos are the live videos interested by the user, so that the satisfaction degree of the user watching the live videos is improved, and the retention rate of the user is improved.
In one embodiment, the receiving of the number of item labels related to the live broadcast and fed back by the server includes: and receiving a plurality of item labels related to live broadcast and the weight of each item label fed back by the server.
In this embodiment, the server not only feeds back a plurality of item labels to the client, but also feeds back the weight of each item label at the same time. For example, the user may manually analyze the respective weight of each item label according to data such as heat, and then set the weight of each item label in the server, and for example, the server obtains the total click rate of the live video corresponding to each item label, and obtains the weight of each item label through a certain algorithm according to the total click rate.
The names and weights of the partial item class labels for a specific embodiment are shown in table 1 below. In table 1, the first column is the explicit characters of the category labels, that is, when the guide page is displayed, the contents of the category labels displayed in the guide page include application alliance, absolute survival, royal glory, and the like, the second column is the identifiers of the category labels, each category label can be identified through the identifiers, and the third column is the weight of the category label, as can be seen from the table, the weight of the heroic alliance is the highest, 100 is the weight, and the weight of the CF tour is the lowest, 8 is the weight.
TABLE 1 name and weight of item class tag
Figure BDA0001688447600000091
Figure BDA0001688447600000101
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the generating a guide page containing a plurality of item labels includes:
and S1031, determining display parameters of the various item labels in the guide page according to the weight of the various item labels.
Considering that the item labels with the larger weight are generally the item labels which are more interesting to the user, when the number of the item labels is large, the user can conveniently and quickly select the item labels which are interesting to the user, the display parameters of the item labels are determined according to the weight of the item labels, and the item labels with the larger weight are preferentially and prominently displayed.
S1032 generates a guide page according to the display parameters of the respective category labels in the guide page.
After the display parameters of each item label are determined, a guide page can be generated.
In one embodiment, the display parameters include a display size and/or a display position; the display size is in direct proportional relation to the weight; the display positions are spread from the middle position of the guide page to the edge position of the guide page in the order of the weights from large to small.
The display size is in direct proportion to the weight, which means that the larger the weight of the category label is, the larger the display size is, and specifically, the category labels can be sequentially sorted according to the order of the weights from large to small, and the corresponding display sizes are sequentially decreased from large to small. In order to avoid the display size from being too large or too small, a maximum display size and a minimum display size may be set, and display may be performed in the maximum display size when the display size exceeds the maximum display size, and in the minimum display size when the display size is smaller than the minimum display size.
It should be understood that, in addition to determining the display size by a direct proportional relationship, the user may determine the display size by weight in other ways as long as it can be characterized that the display size with a small weight is smaller than the display size with a large weight as a whole. For example, a correspondence relationship between the weight sections and the display sizes may be set, the display sizes of the category labels located in any one of the weight sections may be set to a corresponding fixed display size, and if the minimum value of one of the weight sections a is larger than the maximum value of the other weight section b, the display size corresponding to the weight section a may be larger than the display size corresponding to the weight section b.
The display positions are diffused from the middle position of the guide page to the edge position of the guide page along with the descending of the weight, namely, the item label with the larger weight is displayed closer to the middle position of the guide page, and the item label with the smaller weight is displayed closer to the edge position of the guide page. When the display positions of the respective category labels are determined according to the weights, there is no overlap between any two category labels in principle.
In one embodiment, the receiving a number of item labels related to the live broadcast and fed back by the server further includes: and receiving the application keywords of the various item labels fed back by the server.
In this embodiment, the application keyword is an application keyword related to the item label. When the server interface issues the product class label and the weight, an issuing field of application keywords is added for matching after the application name is locally scanned. The application keywords of each item label can be set according to the actual needs of the user.
As shown in table 2, the item labels, the weights of the item labels, and the application keys of the item labels are shown in an embodiment. The fourth column in table 2 is an application keyword corresponding to each item label, each application keyword field includes a plurality of keywords, and the keywords may be separated by commas.
Table 2 item labels, weights of item labels, and application keys of item labels
Figure BDA0001688447600000121
Figure BDA0001688447600000131
Considering that the locally downloaded application is generally the application which is interested by the user, in order to improve the conversion rate of the item label selected by the user through clicking, an application keyword field corresponding to the item label is added in the data sent by the server background interface, the client adds logic for scanning the local application name, the application keyword of the item label to be sent is matched with the local application name, the matched item label is generally the item which is interested by the user, and therefore the matched item label is preferentially and obviously displayed. For a better understanding of the process, two specific examples are described below.
In one embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the display parameters include a display location; the determining the display parameters of the various item labels in the guide page according to the weight of the various item labels comprises the following steps:
and S1031a, scanning the local application list to obtain the application name of the local installed application.
Before entering a guide page, a client scans a local application list in a loading process to obtain an application name of a local installed application. In order to avoid that the guide page cannot be normally displayed due to too long scanning time of the local application list and the use experience of the user is affected, optionally, the longest scanning time limit may be set to x seconds, for example, x seconds are initially set to 3 seconds, and if the longest scanning time limit is exceeded by x seconds, scanning is stopped, and the guide page is generated according to the category label and the weight issued by the server.
In addition, considering that the possibility that the types of the applications installed by the user are the types interested by the user is high, in order to save the scanning time, only the application list installed by the user can be scanned, and the applications installed in advance by the client system are not scanned.
And S1031b, matching the application name of the local installed application with the application key word of each item label.
And matching the application name of the locally installed application with the application keyword issued by the server. If the application keyword of one item label is matched with one application name, the item label is determined to be the item label which is most likely to be interested by the user and needs to be preferentially displayed. Optionally, the matched item class labels may be stored in one list, for example, in a "user prepared interest class" list, and the unmatched item class labels may be stored in another list, for example, in a "user uninteresting item class" list.
And S1031c, if the matched item labels exist, determining that the display positions of the matched item labels are diffused from the middle position of the guide page to the edge position of the guide page along with the sequence of the weights from large to small, and the display positions of the unmatched item labels are diffused from the edge position of the matched item labels to the edge position of the guide page along with the sequence of the weights from large to small.
The matched item labels are more likely to be item labels of interest to the user, and therefore need to be presented preferentially. If only one matched item label exists, the matched item label can be displayed at the middle position of the guide page, and other unmatched item labels are diffused from the middle position (not including the middle position) to the edge position of the guide page according to the sequence of the weights from large to small. If a plurality of matched item labels exist, the plurality of matched item labels are also displayed in a spread manner from the middle position (including the middle position) of the guide to the edge position of the guide page in the order of the weight from high to low, and the unmatched item labels are displayed from the edge position of the matched item labels to the edge position of the guide page.
And S1031d, if no matched item label exists, determining that the display position of each item label spreads from the middle position of the guide page to the edge position of the guide page along with the descending order of the weight.
And if one item label does not match, diffusing and displaying all the item labels from the middle position of the guide page to the edge position of the guide page according to the sequence of the weights from large to small.
In another embodiment, the display parameter includes a display size; as shown in fig. 4, the determining the display parameters of each item label in the guide page according to the weight of each item label includes:
and S10311, scanning the local application list to obtain the application name of the local installed application.
In addition, considering that the possibility that the category corresponding to the application installed by the user is a category in which the user is interested is high, in order to save the scanning time, only the application list installed by the user can be scanned, and the application installed in advance by the client system is not scanned.
And S10312, matching the application name of the locally installed application with the application keyword of each item label.
And S10313, if the matched item labels exist, determining that the display sizes of the matched item labels are sequentially decreased from the preset maximum size along with the sequence of the weights from large to small, and the display sizes of the unmatched item labels are sequentially decreased from the minimum size of the matched item labels along with the sequence of the weights from large to small.
The matching item labels are more likely to be item labels of interest to the user and therefore need to be prominently displayed. If there is only one matching item label, the display size of the matching item label may be set to be the largest, and the display sizes of the other non-matching item labels decrease in the order of increasing weight. If a plurality of matched item labels exist, the display sizes of the matched item labels are decreased from the preset maximum size according to the weight from large to small, and the display sizes of the unmatched item labels are decreased from the minimum size of the matched item labels according to the weight from large to small.
In order to avoid the display size being too large or too small, optionally, a maximum display size and a minimum display size need to be set, and when the display size is larger than the maximum display size, the display is performed according to the maximum display size, and when the display size is smaller than the minimum display size, the display is performed according to the minimum display size.
And S10314, if no matched item label exists, determining that the display size of each item label is sequentially decreased from the preset maximum size along with the sequence of the weights from large to small.
And if one item label does not match, sequentially decreasing the display sizes of all the item labels from the maximum size in the order of the weight from large to small.
As shown in FIG. 5, in one embodiment, the presenting the boot page, thereafter, comprises:
and S105, sending the interested item labels selected by the user in the guide page to the server.
And the user selects the item labels in the guide page according to the interest of the user, and after the selection is finished, the selected item labels are sent to the server. And calling an interest tag adding interface provided by the server, and inserting the selected item tag into the individual interest of the user. If the network request fails to cause that the selected interested item labels cannot be uploaded to the server, optionally, the live broadcast application program normally enters an App home page, and when the network environment is normal, the selected interested item labels are uploaded to the server.
In one embodiment, after sending the item tag of interest selected by the user in the guide page to the server, the method further includes: if the user logs in the live broadcast application program through a login account, acquiring a live broadcast video recommendation page under the login account; and displaying a live video recommendation page under the login account. And for the user who logs in the live application program, the live application program is uninstalled and reinstalled, the user logs in again after selecting the interested category label, and the live application program shows the recommended page of the live video under the login account number without being influenced by the selected category label, so that the interference on the old user is avoided.
And S106, receiving the live video corresponding to the interested item labels and the live video corresponding to the default item labels fed back by the server.
The server acquires live videos corresponding to the item labels after receiving the interested item labels uploaded by the client, acquires live videos corresponding to default item labels set for new users in advance, and issues the live videos corresponding to the interested item labels and the live videos corresponding to the default item labels to the client.
S107, generating a live video recommendation page according to the live video corresponding to the interested item label and the live video corresponding to the default item label.
And the client generates a live video recommendation page according to the received live video corresponding to the item label and the live video corresponding to the default item label. Optionally, the category of item label may be shown at tab top of the page. When the item labels are displayed, the item labels can be displayed from left to right according to the sequence of the weights from large to small, and also can be displayed from left to right according to the sequence of clicking the item labels by the user, which is not limited by the invention.
And S108, displaying the live video recommendation page.
After the live video recommendation page is generated, the live video recommendation page can be displayed in a live application program, and due to the fact that the live video in the live video recommendation interface is the live video which is interesting to the user, the watching satisfaction degree of the user is improved through the mode, and further the retention rate of the user is improved.
In addition, considering that the newly added logic (guide page display logic) is only supported in a new version and is not compatibly displayed in an old version, the newly added logic needs to perform ABtest, a user with the gray level can see the guide page, a user with the non-gray level does not display the guide page, and the live broadcast application program is normally started according to the original flow.
For a better understanding of the above method, it is described below with reference to some operation interfaces. It should be understood that these operation interfaces are only used for better understanding of the present invention, and do not limit the related technical features.
Fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of a product label selection interface (guidance page) according to an embodiment. When a new user (including uninstalling and reinstalling or cleaning data) starts the live application program for the first time, the welcome page is displayed, and then the guide page is displayed. If the user abnormally closes the live application after the guide page is displayed, the guide page is continuously displayed next time, and if the user clicks the button of the [ open journey ] in fig. 7 or clicks the button of the [ skip ], the guide page is not displayed any more. As can be seen from fig. 6, the guide page has prompt information displayed thereon: live application icon + case prompt "welcome to XXX and select your favorite content bar"; the item label is in a background + character format and is displayed in a floating mode through circular bubbles, the larger the weight of the item label is, the larger the circular size is, and the closer the position is to the middle position of the page; when the number of the item labels is large, the item labels can be displayed in a multi-page mode, and a user can check more item labels through sliding left, right, upwards or downwards. In addition, the functions of several operation buttons in the present guide page are: [ choose several content trials ]: when the user does not select the interested item label, the button defaults to prompt, and the button is in a non-click state; [ click addition ]: the user clicks the button to start adding the interested item label, the user clicks the corresponding item label to select the item label, and the user clicks the selected item label to cancel selecting the item label; [ skip ]: and the user clicks to close the current guide page, does not execute other operations, and does not show the guide page any more when starting next time.
Fig. 7 is a schematic diagram of a guidance page interface after the selection of the category label is completed according to an embodiment. After the user selects the interested article labels, the case prompt is modified to be 'open journey', and after the user clicks 'open journey', the user calls an interest label interface added in the original personalized recommendation and stores the article label records selected by the user into personal interest data.
Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of a home interface of a live application according to an embodiment. And reordering the item labels selected by the user (sorted according to the weight corresponding to the item labels issued by the server) and the original new user default N item labels (namely [ the item label selected by the user ] + [ the default item after the item is removed ]), and displaying the item labels as the default items of the user at the top column position of the top page, namely the positions shown by the recommendation (the default item after the item is removed), the item label 1, the item label 2 and the item label 3. And displaying live broadcast content corresponding to the default recommended item label at the middle position of the home page interface. And clicking the item label 1 by the user, and switching the interface to the live video related to the item label 1, wherein other situations are similar.
By the method for starting the live application program, the users, particularly new users, are optimized in a starting guide mode, user interests can be collected, the default top column sequence of the user interests is customized, and meanwhile data preparation is carried out for follow-up personalized recommendation. In addition, the server can track data such as next-day retention, effective watching by everyone, subscription by everyone and the like of the gray-scale users through the ABtest, and can evaluate the effect of the added guide page function and analyze the retention condition of the users by comparing the data with non-gray-scale user data.
As shown in table 3 below, the data statistics for the grayscale user. Table 3 illustrates some statistical items, which specifically include: the display amount of the interest guide page of the new user, the click quantity of interest points in the interest guide page of the new user, the click quantity of the button [ opening journey ] and the click quantity of the button [ skipping ], and the functional effect of the newly added guide page can be analyzed through the statistical data.

Other technical features of the live application starting device described from the perspective of the client are the same as those of the live application starting method described from the client, and are not described herein again.
The following describes in detail specific embodiments of the live application startup method and apparatus according to the present invention from the perspective of a server.
As shown in fig. 10, in one embodiment, a method for starting a live application includes the steps of:
s201, receiving a live application program starting request sent by a client.
S202, feeding back a plurality of item labels related to live broadcast to the client so that the client generates a guide page containing the item labels.
In order to avoid that the normal use of the live application program is affected because the client is always in the process of acquiring the item labels due to network faults and the like, optionally, the item label acquisition time can be set, and if the item labels fail to be issued by the server, namely the client cannot acquire the item labels within the preset time, the client does not generate and display a guide page any more and directly enters the home page of the live application program. Or, a default item label may be configured locally at the client, and when the server fails to issue the item label, the client displays the local default item label.
After receiving the plurality of item labels issued by the server, the client generates and displays a guide page containing the plurality of item labels, wherein the guide page is used for guiding a user to select interested item labels from the plurality of item labels so as to recommend corresponding live videos.
In one embodiment, the feeding back to the client a number of item labels related to the live broadcast includes: and feeding back a plurality of item labels related to live broadcast and the weight of each item label to the client.
In one embodiment, the feeding back, to the client, a number of item labels related to the live broadcast further includes: and feeding back the application keywords of each item label to the client.
In this embodiment, the application keyword is an application keyword related to the item label. When the server interface issues the product class label and the weight, an issuing field of application keywords is added for matching after the application name is locally scanned. The application keywords of each item label can be set according to the actual needs of the user.
In one embodiment, the feeding back to the client a number of item labels related to the live broadcast, then, includes:
s203, receiving the interested item labels which are sent by the client and selected by the user in the guide page.
And the user selects the item labels in the guide page according to the interest of the user, and after the selection is finished, the selected item labels are sent to the server. If the network request fails to cause that the selected interested item labels cannot be uploaded to the server, optionally, the live broadcast application program normally enters an App home page, and when the network environment is normal, the selected interested item labels are uploaded to the server.
S204, feeding back the live video corresponding to the interested item labels and the live video corresponding to the default item labels to the client, so that the client generates and displays a live video recommendation page according to the live video corresponding to the interested item labels and the live video corresponding to the default item labels.
The server acquires live videos corresponding to the item labels after receiving the interested item labels uploaded by the client, acquires live videos corresponding to default item labels set for new users in advance, and issues the live videos corresponding to the interested item labels and the live videos corresponding to the default item labels to the client.
After the client generates the live video recommendation page, the live video recommendation page can be displayed in the live application program, and because the live video in the live video recommendation interface is the live video which is interesting to the user, the watching satisfaction of the user is improved by the mode, and further the retention rate of the user is improved.
Thus, in one embodiment, the live application launch request includes a user identification, which may be a uid (user identifier) or the like; the feeding back a plurality of item labels related to live broadcast to the client comprises: judging whether the user identification is the user identification of a preset gray level user; and if so, feeding back a plurality of item labels related to the live broadcast to the client, otherwise, forbidding feeding back a plurality of item labels related to the live broadcast to the client.
Other technical features of the live application program starting method described in the slave server side are the same as those of the live application program starting method described in the slave client side, and are not described herein again.

In one embodiment, the item label sending module 202 is further configured to feed back the application keywords of each item label to the client.
In one embodiment, the system further comprises a live video feedback module connected to the item label sending module 202, wherein the live video feedback module comprises:
and the item label receiving unit is used for receiving the interested item labels which are sent by the client and selected in the guide page by the user.
And the live video feedback unit is used for feeding back the live video corresponding to the interested item label and the live video corresponding to the default item label to the client, so that the client generates and displays a live video recommendation page according to the live video corresponding to the interested item label and the live video corresponding to the default item label.
Thus, in one embodiment, the live application launch request includes a user identification, which may be a uid (user identifier) or the like; the item label sending module 202 is configured to determine whether the user identifier is a user identifier of a preset grayscale user; and if so, feeding back a plurality of item labels related to the live broadcast to the client, otherwise, forbidding feeding back a plurality of item labels related to the live broadcast to the client.
