Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the present invention is proposed to provide a method and apparatus for implementing terminal software upgrade that overcomes or at least partially solves the above-mentioned problems.
In a first aspect of the present invention, a method for implementing software upgrade of a terminal is provided, where a dedicated channel is reserved between a wireless access point and the terminal, and a communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged during a software upgrade process, and the method includes:
acquiring terminal software upgrading data from network side data received by a wireless access point;
and sending the terminal software upgrading data to a corresponding terminal through the reserved dedicated channel so that the terminal can execute software upgrading according to the terminal software upgrading data.
Before obtaining the terminal software upgrading data from the network side data received from the wireless access point, the method further comprises:
and configuring a data filtering rule, wherein the data filtering rule is used for filtering the terminal software upgrading data from the network side data received by the wireless access point.
Wherein the data filtering rule comprises a data protocol, an IP address of a data packet and/or a port number of the data packet.
Wherein, the acquiring the terminal software upgrading data from the network side data received by the wireless access point comprises:
and extracting the terminal software upgrading data from the network side data received by the wireless access point according to the data filtering rule, and distributing the extracted terminal software upgrading data to the special channel.
Wherein the method further comprises:
and receiving the software upgrading result fed back by the terminal through the reserved dedicated channel, and sending the software upgrading result to a network side.
Wherein the communication protocol of the dedicated channel adopts an unacknowledged mode.
In a second aspect of the present invention, a method for implementing software upgrade of a terminal is provided, where a dedicated channel is reserved between a wireless access point and the terminal, and a communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged during a software upgrade process, and the method includes:
receiving terminal software upgrading data sent by a wireless access point through the reserved dedicated channel;
and executing software upgrading according to the terminal software upgrading data.
Wherein after receiving the terminal software upgrade data transmitted by the wireless access point through the reserved dedicated channel, the method further comprises:
and sending the received terminal software upgrading data to a local TCP/IP network protocol stack so that the local TCP/IP network protocol stack distributes the terminal software upgrading data according to the data protocol of the terminal software upgrading data, the IP address of a data packet and/or the port number of the data packet.
The terminal software upgrading data comprises a software upgrading packet and a control message;
correspondingly, the executing the software upgrade according to the terminal software upgrade data includes:
executing software upgrading operation according to the software upgrading package;
and executing system parameter configuration and/or database configuration according to the control message.
Wherein after said performing a software upgrade according to said terminal software upgrade data, said method further comprises:
sending a software upgrade result to the wireless access point over the reserved dedicated channel.
Wherein the communication protocol of the dedicated channel adopts an unacknowledged mode.
In a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus for implementing software upgrade of a terminal, wherein a dedicated channel is reserved between a wireless access point and the terminal, and a communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged during a software upgrade process, the apparatus comprising:
the data analysis unit is suitable for acquiring terminal software upgrading data from the network side data received by the wireless access point;
and the access point side data sending unit is suitable for sending the terminal software upgrading data to a corresponding terminal through the reserved special channel so that the terminal can execute software upgrading according to the terminal software upgrading data.
In a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus for implementing software upgrade of a terminal, where a dedicated channel is reserved between a wireless access point and the terminal, and a communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged during a software upgrade process, the method including:
the terminal side data receiving unit is suitable for receiving terminal software upgrading data sent by the wireless access point through the reserved special channel;
and the processing unit is suitable for executing software upgrading according to the terminal software upgrading data.
According to the method and the device for realizing the terminal software upgrading, provided by the embodiment of the invention, the special channel is reserved between the wireless access point and the terminal, and the communication protocol of the special channel is kept unchanged in the subsequent software upgrading, so that the problem that the terminal software upgrading cannot be realized due to incompatibility of the wireless access point and the terminal protocol is solved. The method for realizing the terminal software upgrading provided by the embodiment of the invention has the advantages of low realization cost, wide application range and easier implementation.

It will be understood by those skilled in the art that, unless otherwise defined, all terms (including technical and scientific terms) used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this invention belongs. It will be further understood that terms, such as those defined in commonly used dictionaries, should be interpreted as having a meaning that is consistent with their meaning in the context of the prior art and will not be interpreted in an idealized or overly formal sense unless expressly so defined herein.
The invention aims to provide a method for realizing the cooperative upgrading of a wireless access point and a terminal, which can be used in a communication system with continuously upgraded communication protocols of the wireless access point and the terminal.
Fig. 1 schematically shows a flowchart of a method for implementing terminal software upgrade according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1, in the method for implementing terminal software upgrade according to the embodiment of the present invention, a dedicated channel is reserved between a wireless access point and a terminal in advance, and a communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged in a software upgrade process, and the method specifically includes the following steps:
and S11, acquiring the terminal software upgrading data from the network side data received by the wireless access point.
And S12, sending the terminal software upgrading data to a corresponding terminal through the reserved dedicated channel, so that the terminal can execute software upgrading according to the terminal software upgrading data.
The embodiment of the invention reserves the special channel between the wireless access point and the terminal, and the communication protocol of the special channel is kept unchanged in the subsequent software upgrading, thereby solving the problem that the software upgrading of the terminal can not be realized due to the incompatibility of the wireless access point and the terminal protocol.
In this embodiment, the communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged during software upgrade, and optionally, the communication protocol of the dedicated channel adopts an Unacknowledged Mode (Unacknowledged Mode), transmission is performed with the best effort, the protocol remains the simplest, and the reliability of communication data is ensured by a mature higher-layer protocol over a link, such as TCP/IP. Where unacknowledged mode refers to the sending entity adding the necessary control protocol overhead on the higher layer PDU and then transmitting but not guaranteed to be delivered to the peer entity, and no retransmission protocol is used.
In this embodiment, before acquiring the terminal software upgrade data from the network-side data received by the wireless access point in step S11, a step of configuring a data filtering rule is further included. And the data filtering rule is used for filtering the terminal software upgrading data from the network side data received by the wireless access point.
In practical application, a data filtering rule for network received data in the wireless access point is configured in advance, so that the terminal software upgrading data is filtered from the network side data received by the wireless access point. The terminal software upgrading data comprises a software upgrading packet and a control message. The terminal can execute software upgrading operation according to the software upgrading package and execute system parameter configuration and/or database configuration according to the control message.
Wherein the data filtering rule comprises a data protocol, an IP address of a data packet and/or a port number of the data packet.
Further, the step S11 of obtaining the terminal software upgrade data from the network-side data received from the wireless access point is specifically implemented by the following steps: and extracting the terminal software upgrading data from the network side data received by the wireless access point according to the data filtering rule, and distributing the extracted terminal software upgrading data to the special channel.
In practical application, one or more protocols, IPs and port numbers may be used as data filtering rules, and when the received network-side data includes a data packet that conforms to the data protocol, IP address and/or port number of the data packet specified in the data filtering rules, the received network-side data is filtered out as terminal software upgrade data and is distributed to a dedicated channel for transmission, otherwise, other channels are used for transmitting data.
After the terminal side finishes the software version upgrading, the software upgrading result is fed back to the wireless access point side through the reserved special channel, and the wireless access point side receives the software upgrading result fed back by the terminal through the reserved special channel and sends the software upgrading result to the network side.
In a specific embodiment, the wireless access point side configures a data filtering rule for the network side data in advance, and optionally, the terminal software upgrade data meeting one or several protocols, IPs, and port numbers may be distributed to a dedicated channel for transmission. Then, data is received from the network side. And analyzing the received network data according to the configured data filtering rule to prepare for distribution. And judging whether a dedicated channel is used, if so, sending the filtered terminal software upgrading data by using the dedicated channel so that the terminal can execute software upgrading according to the terminal software upgrading data. Otherwise, other channels are used for transmitting data. And finally, receiving the upgrade data fed back by the terminal through a dedicated channel, and sending the data to a network side.
Fig. 2 schematically shows a flowchart of a method for implementing terminal software upgrade according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 2, in the method for implementing terminal software upgrade according to the embodiment of the present invention, a dedicated channel is reserved between a wireless access point and a terminal in advance, and a communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged in a software upgrade process, and the method specifically includes the following steps:
s21, receiving terminal software upgrading data sent by the wireless access point through the reserved dedicated channel;
and S22, executing software upgrading according to the terminal software upgrading data.
In this embodiment, the communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged during software upgrade, and optionally, the communication protocol of the dedicated channel adopts an unacknowledged mode, and is sent with the greatest effort, the protocol remains the simplest, and the reliability of communication data is ensured by a mature higher-layer protocol over the link, such as TCP/IP.
The embodiment of the invention reserves the special channel between the wireless access point and the terminal, and the communication protocol of the special channel is kept unchanged in the subsequent software upgrading, thereby solving the problem that the software upgrading of the terminal can not be realized due to the incompatibility of the wireless access point and the terminal protocol.
In this embodiment of the present invention, after receiving, through the reserved dedicated channel, terminal software upgrade data sent by a wireless access point, the method further includes: and sending the received terminal software upgrading data to a local TCP/IP network protocol stack so that the local TCP/IP network protocol stack distributes the terminal software upgrading data according to the data protocol of the terminal software upgrading data, the IP address of a data packet and/or the port number of the data packet.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal software upgrading data comprises a software upgrading package and a control message.
Accordingly, the step S22 of executing software upgrade according to the terminal software upgrade data specifically includes the following steps not shown in the drawings:
s221, executing software upgrading operation according to the software upgrading package;
s222, performing system parameter configuration and/or database configuration according to the control message.
In this embodiment of the present invention, after the software upgrade is executed according to the terminal software upgrade data, the method further includes: sending a software upgrade result to the wireless access point over the reserved dedicated channel.
In a specific embodiment, the terminal side receives terminal software upgrading data sent by the wireless access point through a reserved dedicated channel, and sends the received terminal software upgrading data to the local TCP/IP network protocol stack, and the local TCP/IP network protocol stack distributes the terminal software upgrading data according to the protocol/IP/port number. And then judging the data destination, if the data destination is the control message, performing system related control, such as parameter configuration, database addition, deletion, check and modification and the like, and if the data destination is the upgrade packet data, performing upgrade operation. And after the corresponding operation is finished, the software upgrading result is sent to the wireless access point through the reserved special channel, and the software upgrading result is sent to the network side through the wireless access point side.
The embodiment of the invention ensures the version compatibility of the protocol by reserving the special communication channel, thereby not only ensuring the normal downloading of the software upgrading packet, but also ensuring the communication link requirements of controlling and configuring parameters under the condition of inconsistent versions, and keeping the smooth communication link.
Compared with the situation of adopting various wireless access technologies, the embodiment of the invention has the advantages of lower cost, wider application range and easier implementation, and can be supported by only one wireless access technology.
The embodiment of the invention only adopts the simplest unconfirmed mode at the bottom layer, ensures the communication quality through the mature upper application protocol, and avoids the situation of version incompatibility caused by the bottom layer self-defined protocol in software upgrading through the layered design.
For simplicity of explanation, the method embodiments are described as a series of acts or combinations, but those skilled in the art will appreciate that the embodiments are not limited by the order of acts described, as some steps may occur in other orders or concurrently with other steps in accordance with the embodiments of the invention. Further, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the embodiments described in the specification are presently preferred and that no particular act is required to implement the invention.
Fig. 3 schematically shows a structural diagram of an apparatus for implementing terminal software upgrade according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 3, the apparatus for implementing terminal software upgrade provided in this embodiment of the present invention reserves a dedicated channel between a wireless access point and a terminal in advance, a communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged during a software upgrade process, and the apparatus specifically includes a data parsing unit 301 and an access point side data sending unit 302, where:
the data analysis unit 301 is adapted to obtain terminal software upgrade data from network side data received by the wireless access point;
the access point side data sending unit 302 is adapted to send the terminal software upgrade data to a corresponding terminal through the reserved dedicated channel, so that the terminal executes software upgrade according to the terminal software upgrade data.
The communication protocol of the dedicated channel adopts an unacknowledged mode, transmission is carried out in the best effort, the protocol is kept the simplest, and the reliability of communication data is ensured by a mature high-level protocol on a link, such as TCP/IP.
The embodiment of the present invention further includes a configuration unit, not shown in the drawing, adapted to configure a data filtering rule before the terminal software upgrade data is obtained from the network side data received from the wireless access point, where the data filtering rule is used to filter the terminal software upgrade data from the network side data received from the wireless access point. Wherein the data filtering rule comprises a data protocol, an IP address of a data packet and/or a port number of the data packet.
Further, the data parsing unit 301 is adapted to extract the terminal software upgrade data from the network side data received by the wireless access point according to the data filtering rule, and allocate the extracted terminal software upgrade data to the dedicated channel.
The embodiment of the present invention further includes an access point side data receiving unit, not shown in the drawing, adapted to receive the software upgrading result fed back by the terminal through the reserved dedicated channel, and send the software upgrading result to the network side.
Fig. 4 schematically shows a structural diagram of an apparatus for implementing terminal software upgrade according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 4, the apparatus for implementing terminal software upgrade provided in this embodiment of the present invention reserves a dedicated channel between a wireless access point and a terminal in advance, a communication protocol of the dedicated channel remains unchanged during a software upgrade process, and the apparatus specifically includes a terminal side data receiving unit 401 and a processing unit 402, where:
a terminal side data receiving unit 401, adapted to receive terminal software upgrade data sent by the wireless access point through the reserved dedicated channel;
a processing unit 402 adapted to perform a software upgrade according to the terminal software upgrade data.
The communication protocol of the dedicated channel adopts an unacknowledged mode, transmission is carried out in the best effort, the protocol is kept the simplest, and the reliability of communication data is ensured by a mature high-level protocol on a link, such as TCP/IP.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the terminal-side data receiving unit 401 is further adapted to, after receiving the terminal software upgrade data sent by the wireless access point through the reserved dedicated channel, send the received terminal software upgrade data to a local TCP/IP network protocol stack, so that the local TCP/IP network protocol stack distributes the terminal software upgrade data according to a data protocol of the terminal software upgrade data, an IP address of a data packet, and/or a port number of the data packet.
In this embodiment, the terminal software upgrade data includes a software upgrade package and a control message.
Correspondingly, the processing unit 402 specifically includes a version upgrading subunit and a control subunit, where: the version upgrading subunit is suitable for executing software upgrading operation according to the software upgrading package; a control subunit adapted to perform a system parameter configuration and/or a database configuration according to the control message.
The embodiment of the present invention further includes a terminal-side data transmitting unit, not shown in the drawings, adapted to transmit a software upgrade result to the wireless access point through the reserved dedicated channel after the software upgrade is performed according to the terminal software upgrade data.
For the device embodiment, since it is basically similar to the method embodiment, the description is simple, and for the relevant points, refer to the partial description of the method embodiment.
The above-described embodiments of the apparatus are merely illustrative, and the units described as separate parts may or may not be physically separate, and parts displayed as units may or may not be physical units, may be located in one place, or may be distributed on a plurality of network units. Some or all of the modules may be selected according to actual needs to achieve the purpose of the solution of the present embodiment. One of ordinary skill in the art can understand and implement it without inventive effort.
According to the method and the device for realizing the terminal software upgrading, provided by the embodiment of the invention, the special channel is reserved between the wireless access point and the terminal, and the communication protocol of the special channel is kept unchanged in the subsequent software upgrading, so that the problem that the terminal software upgrading cannot be realized due to incompatibility of the wireless access point and the terminal protocol is solved. The method for realizing the terminal software upgrading provided by the embodiment of the invention has the advantages of low realization cost, wide application range and easier implementation.
