The invention provides a method and a device for upgrading hard disk firmware and a server. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a hard disk list of firmware to be upgraded; for each hard disk needing firmware upgrading in the hard disk list, sequentially executing the following operations: acquiring the model of the hard disk of which the firmware is not upgraded in the hard disk list; acquiring a firmware file of the latest version corresponding to the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware and a required firmware upgrading tool from a central server according to the type of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware; and upgrading the firmware of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the firmware file of the latest version and the required firmware upgrading tool. The invention can automatically upgrade the hard disk firmware and improve the efficiency of upgrading the hard disk firmware.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of computers, in particular to a method and a device for upgrading hard disk firmware and a server.
Background
The hard disk is a component with a large use amount of a server storage system, and it is very important to ensure the correctness of information such as the model number of the hard disk, the firmware version and the like. The hard disk firmware refers to software solidified in hardware and is responsible for coordinating and controlling interaction among various internal components of the hard disk, and hard disk manufacturers can update hard disk firmware versions irregularly, so that the hard disk firmware can frequently generate the condition of needing to update the versions.
Currently, most international hard disk manufacturers have respective tools for upgrading hard disk firmware versions, and therefore, when a hard disk is upgraded every time, the hard disk manufacturer needs to be identified first, and then a corresponding tool needs to be selected for upgrading.
In the process of implementing the invention, the inventor finds that at least the following technical problems exist in the prior art:
because the upgrading tools for the firmware versions of the hard disks are not uniform and need to be judged manually, the upgrading process is time-consuming, and because the upgrading tools for the firmware versions of the hard disks often need to appoint the serial numbers of specific hard disks, only one machine can be operated and one hard disk can be upgraded each time, the working efficiency is very low.
Disclosure of Invention
The hard disk firmware upgrading method, the hard disk firmware upgrading device and the hard disk firmware upgrading server can automatically upgrade the hard disk firmware and improve the efficiency of upgrading the hard disk firmware.
In a first aspect, the present invention provides a method for upgrading a hard disk firmware, where the method includes:
acquiring a hard disk list of firmware to be upgraded;
for each hard disk needing firmware upgrading in the hard disk list, sequentially executing the following operations:
acquiring the model of the hard disk of which the firmware is not upgraded in the hard disk list;
acquiring a firmware file of the latest version corresponding to the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware and a required firmware upgrading tool from a central server according to the type of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware;
and upgrading the firmware of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the firmware file of the latest version and the required firmware upgrading tool.
Optionally, the obtaining the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware includes: and acquiring the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the hardware information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware reserved by the hard disk self-checking system.

Optionally, the second obtaining unit is configured to obtain the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to hardware information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware that is reserved by the hard disk self-test system.
Optionally, the third obtaining unit includes:

Compared with the prior art, the method and the device have the advantages that the information of hard disk manufacturers is automatically judged according to the hard disk models, and the required upgrading tool is automatically selected for automatic upgrading, so that the efficiency of upgrading the hard disk firmware can be greatly improved.

The invention provides a method for upgrading hard disk firmware, which is applied to a server of the hard disk firmware to be upgraded, wherein the server of the hard disk firmware to be upgraded is connected with a central server through a network, the central server is used for providing a firmware upgrading tool and maintaining a hard disk firmware file of the latest version, and as shown in figure 1, the method comprises the following steps:
s11, acquiring a hard disk list of the firmware to be upgraded;
s12, judging whether the hard disk list has a hard disk with the firmware not upgraded;
s13, when the hard disk of the firmware which is not upgraded exists in the hard disk list, obtaining the model of the hard disk of the firmware which is not upgraded;
s14, acquiring the firmware file of the latest version corresponding to the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware and the required firmware upgrading tool from a central server according to the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware;
s15, upgrading the firmware of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the firmware file of the latest version and the required firmware upgrading tool, and returning to execute the step S12.
Different hard disk manufacturers have respective tools for upgrading hard disk firmware versions, so that the firmware upgrading tool required for acquiring the hard disk to be upgraded needs to know the manufacturer information of the hard disk, and optionally, the acquiring the firmware upgrading tool required for acquiring the non-upgraded hard disk from the central server according to the model of the non-upgraded hard disk comprises:
acquiring manufacturer information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware from a central server according to the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware;
and acquiring a corresponding firmware upgrading tool from the central server according to the manufacturer information of the hard disk without upgrading the firmware.
An application scenario framework of the hard disk firmware upgrading method provided by the invention is shown in fig. 2, and the whole hard disk firmware upgrading method comprises a central server and a server of the hard disk firmware to be upgraded, wherein the central server and the server of the hard disk firmware to be upgraded are connected by using a network. The central server is used by research personnel and is responsible for providing a firmware upgrading tool and maintaining the version of the latest firmware; the servers where the hard disk firmware is to be upgraded are typically controlled by production line workers and incoming material inspectors and other associated personnel. The central server maintains a database, three elements of the manufacturer, the model and the latest firmware file version of the hard disk are recorded in the database, as shown in the following hard disk information index table, the manufacturer information, the model information and the latest firmware version information of the hard disk are associated, and other two items of information can be acquired according to any item of information in the table.

In order to automatically upgrade a plurality of hard disks in a single computer, before upgrading, a server to be upgraded needs to obtain a hard disk list needing upgrading by using a Linux system command lssci, and then upgrading of the plurality of hard disks is completed by circulating the operation of a single hard disk. Fig. 3 and 4 show a flow chart of automatically upgrading a hard disk firmware, fig. 3 shows a flow chart of upgrading a hard disk firmware by a server of the hard disk firmware to be upgraded, and fig. 4 shows a flow chart of upgrading a hard disk firmware by a central server.
When the server to be upgraded needs to upgrade the hard disk firmware, when the system detects the hard disk, the system reads SMART (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) information, the SMART information is hard disk hardware information reserved by the hard disk Self-checking system, the hard disk model can be inquired through the SMART information, the hard disk model is sent to the central server, the central server inquires the hard disk information index table according to the hard disk model, and the obtained hard disk manufacturer information and the latest firmware file are sent to the server to be upgraded.
Different hard disk manufacturers have respective tools for upgrading the firmware version of the hard disk, for example, seachester is a tool for upgrading the firmware of the hard disk of xijie and toshiba, Hugo is a tool for upgrading the firmware of the hard disk of ri and west, and Issdcm is a tool for upgrading the firmware of the Intel hard disk. And after the to-be-upgraded server acquires the manufacturer information of the to-be-upgraded hard disk, the to-be-upgraded server can acquire the required tool for upgrading the firmware from the central server.
After the required firmware upgrading tool is obtained, the corresponding hard disk firmware can be upgraded according to the upgrading tool and the corresponding latest firmware file.
The hard disk firmware upgrading method provided by the embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the model of the non-upgraded hard disk is obtained, the manufacturer information of the hard disk and the corresponding latest firmware file are obtained through the central server according to the model of the non-upgraded hard disk, the corresponding upgrading tool is obtained according to the manufacturer information, and the hard disk firmware version is upgraded by using the upgrading tool and the latest firmware file. Compared with the prior art, the method and the device have the advantages that the information of hard disk manufacturers is automatically judged according to the hard disk models, and the required upgrading tool is automatically selected for automatic upgrading, so that the efficiency of upgrading the hard disk firmware can be greatly improved.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides a device for upgrading a hard disk firmware, where the device is located in a server of the hard disk firmware to be upgraded, the server of the hard disk firmware to be upgraded is connected to a central server through a network, and the central server is used to provide a firmware upgrading tool and maintain a hard disk firmware file of a latest version, as shown in fig. 5, the device includes:
a first obtaining unit 11, configured to obtain a hard disk list of a firmware to be upgraded;
a second obtaining unit 12, configured to obtain a model of a hard disk of which a firmware is not upgraded in the hard disk list;
a third obtaining unit 13, configured to obtain, from a central server, a firmware file of the latest version and a required firmware upgrade tool, where the firmware file of the latest version corresponds to the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware;
and the upgrading unit 14 is configured to upgrade the firmware of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the firmware file of the latest version and a required firmware upgrading tool.
After the first obtaining unit 11 obtains the hard disk list of the firmware to be upgraded, for each hard disk of the hard disk list of the firmware to be upgraded, the corresponding operations of the second obtaining unit 12, the third obtaining unit 13 and the upgrading unit 14 are sequentially executed.
Optionally, the second obtaining unit 12 is configured to obtain the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to hardware information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware that is reserved by the hard disk self-test system.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 6, the third obtaining unit 13 includes:
a first obtaining module 131, configured to obtain, from a central server, manufacturer information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware;
a second obtaining module 132, configured to obtain, from the central server, a corresponding firmware upgrade tool according to the vendor information of the hard disk without firmware upgrade.
The hard disk firmware upgrading device provided by the embodiment of the invention acquires the model of the non-upgraded hard disk, acquires the manufacturer information of the hard disk and the corresponding latest firmware file through the central server according to the model of the non-upgraded hard disk, acquires the corresponding upgrading tool according to the manufacturer information, and upgrades the firmware version of the hard disk by using the upgrading tool and the latest firmware file. Compared with the prior art, the method and the device have the advantages that the information of hard disk manufacturers is automatically judged according to the hard disk models, and the required upgrading tool is automatically selected for automatic upgrading, so that the efficiency of upgrading the hard disk firmware can be greatly improved.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a server which comprises the hard disk firmware upgrading device.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that all or part of the processes of the methods of the embodiments described above can be implemented by a computer program, which can be stored in a computer-readable storage medium, and when executed, can include the processes of the embodiments of the methods described above. The storage medium may be a magnetic disk, an optical disk, a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), or the like.

acquiring a hard disk list of firmware to be upgraded;
for each hard disk needing firmware upgrading in the hard disk list, sequentially executing the following operations:
acquiring the model of the hard disk of which the firmware is not upgraded in the hard disk list;
acquiring manufacturer information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware and a corresponding firmware file of the latest version from a central server according to the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware, wherein a hard disk information index table is stored in the central server, and the hard disk information index table records the associated information of the manufacturer information, the model information and the latest firmware version information of the hard disk;
acquiring a corresponding firmware upgrading tool from the central server according to the manufacturer information of the hard disk without upgrading the firmware;
and upgrading the firmware of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the firmware file of the latest version and the required firmware upgrading tool.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein obtaining the model number of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware comprises: and acquiring the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the hardware information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware reserved by the hard disk self-checking system.
3. An apparatus for upgrading firmware of a hard disk, the apparatus comprising:
the first acquisition unit is used for acquiring a hard disk list of firmware needing to be upgraded;
the second acquisition unit is used for acquiring the model of the hard disk of which the firmware is not upgraded in the hard disk list;
a third obtaining unit, configured to obtain, from a central server according to the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware, manufacturer information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware and a corresponding firmware file of the latest version, where a hard disk information index table is stored in the central server, and the hard disk information index table records associated information of the manufacturer information, the model information, and the latest firmware version information of the hard disk;
the third obtaining unit is further configured to obtain a corresponding firmware upgrading tool from the central server according to the manufacturer information of the hard disk with the firmware not upgraded;
and the upgrading unit is used for upgrading the firmware of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to the firmware file of the latest version and the required firmware upgrading tool.
4. The apparatus according to claim 3, wherein the second obtaining unit is configured to obtain the model of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware according to hardware information of the hard disk of the non-upgraded firmware, which is retained by a hard disk self-test system.
5. A server, characterized in that the server comprises a hard disk firmware upgrade apparatus according to claim 3 or 4.
