All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
It should be understood that, in the embodiments of the present invention, the sequence numbers of the processes do not mean the execution sequence, and the execution sequence of the processes should be determined by the functions and the internal logic of the processes, and should not constitute any limitation on the implementation process of the embodiments of the present invention.
The following detailed description of the implementation of the present invention is made with reference to specific embodiments:
example one
Fig. 1 shows an implementation process of a live broadcast method provided in an embodiment of the present invention, which is detailed as follows:
in step S101, live broadcast request information sent by a client is received, where the live broadcast request information includes configuration information of a live broadcast service mode.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the live service modes include a multicast service mode and a unicast service mode. And after receiving the live broadcast request information sent by the client, the live broadcast device identifies the configuration information in the live broadcast request information so as to determine the service mode of the currently requested live broadcast channel.
Specifically, after receiving a live broadcast request of a user, a client determines a service mode of a live broadcast channel currently requested by the user, and sends live broadcast request information including the live broadcast request of the user and configuration information of the live broadcast service mode to a live broadcast device.
In step S102, when the requested configuration information is a multicast service mode, it is determined whether the current content distribution network supports OTT multicast service.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a Content Delivery Network (CDN) is composed of a Content Delivery Network that only supports a multicast service mode, a Content Delivery Network that only supports a unicast service mode, or a Content Delivery Network that supports both a multicast service mode and a unicast service mode. Here, the content delivery networks are deployed hierarchically according to administrative levels, where the content delivery network with the highest administrative level is a top-level CDN, and the content delivery networks of the remaining administrative levels are edge CDNs.
In particular, the content delivery network includes at least one top-level CDN.
In a specific embodiment of the present invention, a content delivery network is composed of a top CDN and a plurality of edge CDNs, and after receiving live broadcast request information sent by a client, configuration information in the live broadcast request information is acquired, and when it is determined that configuration information included in the request is a multicast service mode, it is determined whether an edge CDN closest to the client supports OTT multicast service, and when the edge CDN closest to the client does not support OTT multicast service, it is determined whether an upper-level edge CDN of the edge CDN closest to the client supports OTT multicast service until it is determined whether the top CDN supports OTT multicast service.
Here, the lower the administrative level, the closer the edge CDN is to the client, so as to shorten the response time of the live request and improve the live efficiency to give a better experience to the user.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the content distribution network is deployed with the servers for providing the live broadcast service according to the administrative levels in a classified manner, the multicast server and the unicast server for providing the live broadcast service by the user can be flexibly expanded, and the content distribution network can be adapted to the current content distribution network environment to select a unicast service mode, a multicast service mode and a unicast and multicast mixed mode to provide the live broadcast service, thereby reducing the difficulty and the cost of the deployment or the reconstruction of the existing OTT service network.
In step S103, if the current content distribution network supports OTT multicast service, the client is added to the corresponding multicast group according to the multicast address in the configuration information, and the multicast media data in the multicast group is sent to the client.
In the embodiment of the invention, the configuration information provided by the client comprises the multicast address of the channel requested by the user, when the current content distribution network supports the OTT multicast service, the live broadcast device adds the client into the multicast group according to the multicast address provided in the configuration information, acquires the multicast media data in the multicast group, transmits the acquired multicast media data to the client, and the client receives the multicast media data transmitted by the live broadcast device and displays the multicast media data to the user.
In a specific embodiment of the present invention, a content delivery network is composed of a top CDN and a plurality of edge CDNs, after receiving live broadcast request information sent by a client, configuration information in the live broadcast request information is acquired, when it is determined that configuration information included in a request is a multicast service mode, it is determined whether an edge CDN closest to the client supports OTT multicast service, when the edge CDN closest to the client supports OTT multicast service, a live broadcast device adds the client to a multicast group to which the current edge CDN belongs according to a multicast address provided in the configuration information, acquires multicast media data in the multicast group, and issues the acquired multicast media data to the client, and the client receives multicast media data issued by the live broadcast device and displays the multicast media data to a user.
In another specific embodiment of the present invention, the content delivery network is composed of a top CDN and a plurality of edge CDNs, and after receiving live broadcast request information sent by a client, obtain configuration information in the live broadcast request information, when it is determined that the configuration information included in the request is a multicast service mode, and when it is determined that the top CDN supports OTT multicast service, the live broadcast device adds the client to a multicast group to which the top CDN belongs according to a multicast address provided in the configuration information, obtains multicast media data in the multicast group, and issues the obtained multicast media data to the client, and the client receives multicast media data issued by the live broadcast device and displays the multicast media data to a user.
In step S104, when the requested configuration information is a unicast service mode or the current content distribution network does not support OTT multicast service, the unicast server issues unicast media data corresponding to the live broadcast request to the client.
In the embodiment of the invention, after receiving the live broadcast request information sent by the client, the configuration information in the live broadcast request information is acquired, and when the configuration information included in the request is determined to be a unicast service mode or when the current content distribution network is determined not to support OTT multicast service, the corresponding unicast server is determined according to the unicast address provided in the configuration information, and the unicast media data corresponding to the live broadcast request is sent to the client through the unicast server.
Specifically, a specific implementation flow of issuing the unicast media data corresponding to the live broadcast request to the client through the unicast server in step S104 is shown in fig. 2:
in step S201, a live broadcast request including configuration information of a unicast service method sent by a client is received.
In the embodiment of the invention, after determining that the configuration information included in the request is a unicast service mode or the current content distribution network does not support the OTT multicast service, the client sends the live broadcast request including the configuration information of the unicast service mode to the live broadcast device.
In step S202, the unicast server issues unicast media data to the client according to the configuration information.
In a specific embodiment of the present invention, a content delivery network is composed of a top CDN and a plurality of edge CDNs, and after receiving live broadcast request information sent by a client, configuration information in the live broadcast request information is acquired, and when it is determined that the requested configuration information is a unicast service mode or the current content delivery network does not support OTT multicast service, a live broadcast device determines a corresponding unicast server according to a unicast address provided in the configuration information, and issues unicast media data corresponding to a live broadcast request to the client through the unicast server.
In another specific embodiment of the present invention, a content delivery network is composed of a top CDN and a plurality of edge CDNs, and after receiving live broadcast request information sent by a client, configuration information in the live broadcast request information is obtained, and when it is determined that the requested configuration information is a unicast service mode or a current content delivery network does not support OTT multicast service, it is determined whether the current edge CDN supports the unicast service mode, and if the current edge CDN does not support the unicast service mode, it is determined whether an upper-level edge CDN of the current edge CDN supports the unicast service mode until it is determined whether the top-level CDN supports the unicast service mode. When the current content distribution network supports the unicast service mode, the live broadcast device determines a corresponding unicast server according to the unicast address provided in the configuration information, and sends unicast media data corresponding to the live broadcast request to the client through the unicast server.
In an application scenario, there may be a situation that a provincial backbone network, that is, a top-level CDN does not support a multicast service, but a local-level network, that is, an edge CDN supports a multicast service, or a partial local-level network supports a multicast service, where the network supporting the multicast service responds to a live broadcast request of a client in a multicast service manner, and the network not supporting the multicast service responds to a live broadcast request of a client in a unicast service manner.
In the embodiment of the invention, live broadcast request information sent by a client is received through a live broadcast device, wherein the live broadcast request information comprises configuration information of a live broadcast service mode; when the requested configuration information is in a multicast service mode, determining whether the current content distribution network supports OTT multicast service; if the current content distribution network supports OTT multicast service, adding the client into the corresponding multicast group according to the multicast address in the configuration information, and transmitting the multicast media data in the multicast group to the client; when the configuration information included in the request is a unicast service mode or the current content distribution network does not support the OTT multicast service, the unicast media data corresponding to the live broadcast request is sent to the client through the unicast server, the service mode in the live broadcast request sent by the user is determined through the configuration information, the selection of the service mode corresponding to the live broadcast by the current network is adapted, the OTT network is simpler to operate and easy to maintain, the current network environment does not need to be forcibly transformed, and the cost of network transformation is reduced.
Example two

in step S301, the epg server sends configuration information of a live service method to the client, where the configuration information of the live service method includes configuration information of a multicast service method and configuration information of a unicast service method.
In the embodiment of the invention, the corresponding live broadcast service mode corresponding to the channel in the electronic program guide is a unicast service mode, a multicast service mode or a unicast and multicast mixed service mode.
Here, a specific implementation flow of sending configuration information of a live service manner to the client by the electronic program guide server in step S301 is shown in fig. 4:
in step S401, the electronic program guide server detects whether corresponding channel information in the content distribution network has changed.
In step S402, when the electronic program guide server detects that the corresponding channel information in the content distribution network changes, the updated configuration information is pushed to the client.
In the embodiment of the invention, the configuration information is pushed to the client through the electronic program guide server, the client receives the data fed back by the live broadcast device according to the pushed configuration information, and when the configuration information is not updated, the electronic program guide server does not push the configuration information to the client any more, so that the client is prevented from frequently and repeatedly requesting the configuration information to the electronic program guide service, the pressure of the electronic program guide server is increased, and the live broadcast efficiency is reduced.
In step S302, live broadcast request information sent by a client is received, where the live broadcast request information includes configuration information of a live broadcast service mode.
In step S303, when the requested configuration information is a multicast service mode, it is determined whether the current content distribution network supports OTT multicast service.
In step S304, if the current content distribution network supports OTT multicast service, the client is added to the corresponding multicast group according to the multicast address in the configuration information, and the multicast media data in the multicast group is sent to the client.
Further, a standby unicast address is set in the multicast address provided by the configuration information, and when a failure of a live broadcast server providing multicast service for the client is detected, unicast media data corresponding to the live broadcast request is issued through the unicast server.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the live broadcast server providing the multicast service by the bit client is detected to have a fault, the unicast server to which the edge CDN with the same administrative level belongs is determined according to the standby unicast address provided in the configuration information, and the unicast media data corresponding to the live broadcast request is issued by the unicast server, so that the live broadcast service is prevented from being terminated, and the user experience is reduced.
Further, when there is no corresponding unicast media data in the unicast servers with the same administrative level, determining whether there is corresponding unicast media data in the unicast server to which the edge CDN of the upper administrative level belongs according to the spare unicast address provided in the configuration information until there is a corresponding unicast media data location in the unicast server to which the top CDN belongs.
